I wanted to try them and ordered 5 pounds of mussels in December. They delivered the mussels when they said they would. But the 5 pounds quickly ended up being only 3 1/2 pounds of usable mussels due to the initial short weight and the large number of broken and opened mussels. After I was invoiced for the full 5 pounds, I emailed them with an explanation and photos of the bad mussels and how much they weighed. I asked if they would discount the mussels. They actually cancelled my invoice, which I appreciated. But this is their email response. "Fresh live shellfish is not an exact science, we try to offer the best quality and freshest products possible but that is a slightly different experience than the buying at the grocery store. Sorry for your inconvenience, we are better than the rest but still not for everyone." This sounded to me like they didn't like me complaining about this problem and that I wasn't someone that they wanted for a customer. Guess I was right, looks like they took me off of the weekly email list as I haven't received their emails since my complaint. Overall, this was not a good customer experience.
