What blew me away was the personal attention I got from Patrick, a completely unexpected value to the whole process. He helped with the sizing, the fit, the suggestions, and even some great recommendations on runners socks (which I am so looking forward to). My husband and I went there for some much needed new shoes. We were greeted by Daniel, and he was very friendly and helpful. First, he measured our feet and then a 3D measurement to look at arches and pressure points. He showed us the shoes we were interested in and did not shy away from any great deals that were happening in the store. They had a great assortment of long sizes for my husband. Which was refreshing. So, upon leaving the store, we had a couple pair of great fitting shoes with the proper orthotics. We will be back. I went in this morning to get new shoes for work. I am on my feet for long amounts of time. I knew I wanted Danskos, great brand when you're moving a lot. I was greeted by Daniel right when I walked in. What a great experience! He measured my feet and I stood on the machine that shows pressure points, your arch shape, etc. Daniel was engaging, so helpful and knowledgeable and friendly. What a great experience. I bought a pair of work shoes and a pair of shoes for the gym. They didn't have my size in the athletic shoe, so Daniel arranged to have it shipped from the San Jose store. This is an exceptional shoe store! A treasure in our community that I had been missing out on. I have feet issues, and I had been shopping out of town unaware that Beck's carried Aetrex and other podiatrist approved shoes that are cute. Daniel was patient and very knowledgeable. The best customer service that I have received in a long time. It is rare these days to actually have your feet measured and scanned. I was in desperate need of good shoes that would be comfortable on my hard to fit feet. When I walked in I was greeted with a friendly hello by the manager, Patrick. I told him I was looking for some walking shoes he showed me where they were located and then Carol came to help me. What a sparkling ray of sunshine she was! We hit it off like we'd known each other forever. She measured my feet and used a digital machine to get a better look at my arch and high pressure areas of my feet. Carol helped me find just what I needed and now my feet and I are both so happy! We used to shop here for boots when it was Dons. Came in for our usual boot purchase, now that it's Beck's, and left with multiple pairs of shoes. The store is beautiful! Super organized. Fair and comparable prices and the customer service couldn't be beat. Patrick helped us out and made the experience fantastic. Not only did he help me find new sandals and gave some amazing tips for my foot pain, he was able to help my boyfriend find the boots and insoles he needs to make his long days on his feet way more comfortable. We originally went in to just look around for a water friendly shoe for myself but we ended up snagging 3 pairs of other shoes--one for my husband, myself, and our daughter. We were next door to have brunch at Linda's Soda Bar, when I noticed through the window the beautiful remodel that happened in the new store that took the place of the Yuba City landmark, Don's Shoes. Beck's Shoes is a welcome addition to our town, carrying many high end brands and one of my absolute favorite flip flops, OluKai. We were greeted by Patrick, the manager, who was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He told us about the different brands that they offered and even did a computerized step analysis on my husband. When they didn't have a particular shoe in stock for my husband, he called to another store to have it sent over. Patrick knows more than the typical shoe store employee about the health of feet and how they relate to your overall well being.
