The call left a pretty bad taste in my mouth & I can't see trying them again for any future service. i was traveling for 8 hours and got back to my car with a dead battery. me not knowing absolutely…read moreanything about cars was a little freaked out on what to do so I go on apple maps and found Pickett Fix it and my brother gave him a call that I was stranded in a parking lot with and all other auto body repair shops closed. I am SO extremely grateful that Lucas was available so late at night and willing to come help me. I had no idea why my car wouldn't start and a million warnings were popping up on my dashboard. After sending a few pictures of my dashboard and explaining what was going on Lucas knew that it was the car battery. He went and bought me a new car battery, answered the phone quickly giving updates and came to the rescue. He was so kind and EXTREMELY EXTREMELY helpful especially being a woman alone stuck in a parking lot not knowing what to do or who to call and very stressed out. He was so thorough in explaining to me that whoever changed out my last battery unfortunately gave me a used one and caused a bunch of corrosion. He quickly changed my battery and spent so long cleaning out all the corrosion (i had no idea was there) and even bought something extra that would ensure the connection was good so I could drive 45 minutes home safely. My car would've stopped and broke down on the highway if it wasn't for him. He explained everything to me and was so transparent and quite literally saved me after a long day of traveling. I needed my car for work the next day and have no idea what i'd do if he wasn't available and came to me right away. He's so talented and great at what he does and very transparent and NOT sketchy like other car businesses. He will tell you everything straight up and is a super honest and kind person!!! I bought a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon here for $13,000 (listed at $16,400). They jumped…read moreon my offer instantly with zero negotiation. They threw $5,000+ at it for prep work (brakes, oil filter housing, track bar, valve covers, spark plug seals, fluids, etc.) and told me it was all checked out and "fixed." Their own internal worksheet proved they knew about P0300, P0302, and P0303 misfire codes. Yet they never replaced the spark plugs (I pulled a badly carbon-fouled one from cylinder 3 days later) and the O2 sensors had never been changed either. Firestone has now found a failing hydraulic lifter on cylinder 3, missing valve cover bolts, battery cables that were literally sliced/hacked, loose terminals, missing fasteners, and other loose nuts/bolts all over the engine bay. The same misfires keep coming back. I've already dumped $860 on new O2 sensors plus coils, plugs, and diagnostics. When I brought everything back they hid behind "as-is, no warranty" and claimed they "only do safety checks." The salesman kept pushing how "benevolent" their service team was. This place lacks integrity. They knew the Jeep had problems, did the cheapest partial fixes, and dumped it on me anyway. Do not buy any vehicle from this dealership. They will screw you over and then gaslight you when you complain. Save yourself the headache and money -- go somewhere else.
