Service was great Food was amazing and the specials where incredible. Drinks were classy. The hotel has gone through some changes and turning out better than before.

About to grab a salad at this restaurant inside of the Hyatt LAX.
    Robert G.

Came in to grab a salad and unfortunately was disappointed. So we're going to come right down the middle here and be real...like Hollyfield... Because I feel as though my wallet got knocked out! TKO style The salad (pictured) had a decent look to it, but didn't really pop off. And people let's be real, you know when salad is fresh and when it's stale and borderline dead. No I'm not going to go off the deep end as there was no " brown" in it, nor was it comatose, but it wasn't up and running laps either! And while I'm aware you will pay for the upper end of things just because you're 3 ft from LAX, doesn't mean you should. Beckett's is unfortunately indicative of a lot of restaurants that are allowed to take advantage of customers or patrons simply due to location and convenience. The server (who will remain nameless) wasn't bad by any stretch, but was about as memorable as an old graveyard marker with a shattered tombstone. (On second thought, that actually might be quite memorable huh?) But yeah dudes energy was off-bad day perhaps? Anyways it took too much energy to try to get a hold of him. they were most likely understand. To conclude, they go ahead and slap on and automatic 20% to your bill, regardless of how the overall experience turned out. And I don't want to over exaggerate, if you want to compare it to what you're about to get on Southwest or for that matter almost any of the other airlines-then yes it's decent. The jury is still out on Beckett's. They can and should do better.

Beckett's is located in the Hyatt Regency at Los Angeles International Airport. Serving food and drinks with several flatscreens, dining in on site or taking to go, the menu has many options to consider. Situated in the corner of the hotel, near elevators by the entrance, it is very accessible. Low level noise during the day slightly high in the evening, there are bar staff for light foot traffic and additional wait staff when it gets crowded. The house burgers are good along with the steak frites. I also enjoyed their old fashion and classic margarita. The service has been good in my experience, the prices are tad high. Parking in the structure next door, valet or street meters

Smoked cherry old fashioned and pepperoni flatbread pizza
    Sherree P.

I had the cherry smoked old fashioned with the pepperoni flatbread (I already ate 2 of the 6 slices). Both were very good!! $20 for the flatbread pizza and $25 for the manhattan that used High west double rye. Very reasonable and everything was on point. Not a fan of the mandatory 20% tax but it is a city imposed tax

Half of the farmhouse omelette and potato plate which I could not finish. Has cholula on it
    Joanne B.

Food is priced in accordance with the area. We had dinner and breakfast here. The food was all prepared according to order and was well seasoned and tasty. We had the farmhouse omelette and potato bowl for brekky. And the steak quesadilla and deluxe cheeseburger with fries for dinner Waitstaff is very friendly and responsive providing above average service Not much ambiance but for an overnight airport stay it's extremely convenient

I had the Duck Confit, with their thousand layer potatoes and a tiny tiny dollup of tarragon mustard. The crispy outer layer with the moist meat was nice. Bottom line, I really enjoy my duck confit. The thousand layer potatoes fun. I should of also ordered a side salad or a vegetable, but, oh well. My friends shared the Salad Nicoise which had too much salad dressing and the lettuce was drowning. For the olives, they opted to use thinly sliced new green olives that are pickles and crispy. My friends thought that was a bit odd and missed the regular kalamata olives. Overall, my friends said they enjoyed the salad. We shared bread and butter which was heavenly! For dessert we shared the plum, fig galette. It was delicious and glad we all had a small portion, which is exactly what we wanted to finish the meal. We had fun watching the staff prep for dinner too! The decor is fun throughout the restaurant. I would definitely return here again. Tomat is a fun casual fine dining experience.

He was attentive, friendly, and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. One thing to keep in mind: it can get pretty windy up there since you're close to the airport, so bring a light jacket or dress accordingly. Thankfully, they have fire pits and heat lamps that help keep everyone warm and comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and I'd definitely come back to try more items on the menu. Ambiance is nicely decorated, it's part of the hotel, so just walk right in, pass the lobby, take the elevator to the 6th floor and you are there. Parking is free and plenty of it outside, do not feel the need to pay. Service: Horrible, I would give her a zero if I could. We had the woman server, reddish hair, one who I thought would be seasoned. Oder took her about 8 minutes, she then walk away and not said why. It was apparent that there was an issue with the table. Drinks took about another 12 mins to arrive and when they did it would have been great if she had spilled them. Drinks were horrible. My rum and coke was served flat and warm. Ice was dirty, seemed like no preventative maintenance takes place. No napkins were served, and at no time did she stop by to check in on us. Bartenders... not presentable at all. I didn't know what I was looking at. There was no way for me to tell if he was a bartender, or anyone else making the drinks. He seemed hot and sweaty, completely off, and wearing some sort of white T-Shirt., again, you couldn't event tell that it was a bartender making that drink, the entire experience was horrible. The drinks were so bad that we took 2 sips and said it's time to go. Waitress came by, we checked out and she just stood there waiting for a tip. We felt forced to tip her, when in reality I wanted to say, please quit your job. Folks, if you are looking for a nice classy drink, or something made right, do your self a favor and go elsewhere. if you are staying there, either go to the lobby bar, or better yet, skip out and head to Manhattan beach. No one should pay over $50.00 for poorly made drinks, served on a dirty glass, warm and with less than mediocre service.

What's even more shocking was that I was driving by a place that in my eyes deserves some special attention! So espresso martinis are a thing and this place came highly recommended for them so my sugar sugar and I said, why not?? We made reservations and left a bit early because based off Google Maps the restaurant is on the corner of Manchester and Lincoln but based off my memory, I never saw a restaurant with that name! So to clear the air, it's there y'all, you just have to slow down and look. When you walk in the restaurant is dimmed and it totally sets the mood and my mood was steak!! Our waiter was super cool and we appreciate his hospitality. He asked if it was our first time. We confirmed and he ensured us that we would enjoy our experience and enjoy we did! First - espresso martinis. It was as if the bartender read our minds...they were made to perfection! Flavorful and you can definitely taste the balance of the espresso and alcohol. I ordered the steak frites and sugar sugar ordered the salmon. We always try each other's food and we couldn't determine which dish was better. The salmon was baked perfectly and the side salad was delicious! The steak had just enough seasoning so that it didn't overpower the quality of the meat. I have never had a perfectly cooked steak in my life! Ruth Chris who? Maestros where? I don't even eat steak on a regular but best believe it will be at the Manchester moving forward. We had arrived in time for happy hour, so we chose the charcuterie board and two orders of the salmon sliders, both reasonably priced at $9.50 each. The sliders were spicy and delicious. The charcuterie board was not as impressive. It didn't seem particularly fresh; the grapes especially were a bit wrinkly and sad.
