So...im gonna start off by saying that I actually love this place. The food and drinks are bomb and the music is perfect for me. Old school 90s-2010s our first waiter Elidja was GREAT. we loved him. Just avoid the light skinned, taller waitresses. She was soo rude. 2 stars off for her. She had a top not bun when I was there. We got there at 7pm. Here was the exchange by 10pm... Her: Hi, have you been here today or are you new? Me: Hi! We've been here. Her: Hi I remember you. Then she leaves. A few minutes later she comes back with a water jug and two cups. She sets it at our table. I pour some into my cup. She turns around... Her: Did you just take water from this jug? Me: Yes! Her: That wasn't for you. That's for this table next to you. We were in town attending a show and were looking for a fun place to eat and have some cocktails before. So happy to have found this gem through Yelp! They have a cute photo op wall, tons of signature drinks as well as a full bar and lots of small bite plates that are big enough to fill you up. We had a variety of beef sliders, loaded nachos with shrimp (OMG so good!) and their fried salmon bites with garlic fries. The salmon was cooked to perfection and we're not dry like some fried can cause. We also had a few cocktails and my fave was the Red Bottom but with Tito's vodka. The service was super friendly and helpful and always checked in on us. Highly recommend if you're in town to visit the Sofi Stadium or another nearby venue as it was only 9 minutes away. read more

I visited The Nile Bar for the first time on a Saturday. No line, no wait, our party of 4 was seated right away. The Nile bar is a sports bar type of feel located in the heart of Inglewood. There's plenty of Street/meter parking along the street and side streets. Our server, I believe her name is Fritzy, was very nice, attentive and had good energy. The drink that I normally drink everywhere I go was not good so she recommended something similar and it was decent. The food was ok.... Shrimp sliders were good, but my truffle fries were cold. I hate sending food back so I just delt with it. We also ordered the salmon bites which could have used more flavor. In an effort to pre-party before a concert in the Kia forum I looked up bars near the area that were walking distance. The top hit was this one. And I could see why, the joint had hop and hip energy, like beautiful chaos that promoted a good time. But if you go here, understand that beautiful chaos is still chaos, so do not expect proper procedure when ordering or mingling, this joint is not about that. It is more about finding the good time, while inside the jukebox, not admiring its bump and lyrics and you comfortably sit. As soon as I entered the place, I knew that this place had flavor and soul for days, like both these qualities were interwoven into a great braid that could not be untangled. Before I could take in the surroundings, I needed a drink. The time was around 630 p.m., on a Saturday night, and the place was already sort of packed. I would need luck and direct pounce energy, to find a stool to call my own. I lacked both since I never found a chair for me, myself, and I. I waited for a line to form, so I could join it and order in the bar, but no line formed. I got into a cluster of people, and jammed myself slowly to the bar. It was Ronnie who eventually served me, a beautiful and kind soul, if I ever did meet one. She first made a point to introduce herself, and then ask my name, and then my drink. It is the small things that make the chaos beautiful. When I went to get a second drink, it was later in the night, and the amorphous line became a greater clump of folks. Again, I had to maneuver, and talk to folks, as they waited. A woman asked me for a drink, she asked a few others for a drink. She did not want an alcoholic drink. When I ordered my second vodka cocktail I handed her my drink so I can sign my receipt. I did not have space in the counter to do so. After holding my drink she asked for a drink again, I did not get it for her. To participate in beautiful chaos does not require more funding than I was willing to give. By this time the crowd got more bigger. People were eating at their tables, people were sipping their drinks, and people were just buzzing and feeling the flow. I went upstairs and there was a loungy area, small but, there. This spot was full too. Where can I find a place to sit? I could not. Even when I saw some couches on the second floor vacate I did not know if these required a reservation, or if they were up for grabs. I did ask a fellow bar-goer, if I could clip part of her fit. She was wearing a jean skirt that looked like it was fashion from shipwreck netting. So the vibe produces people that are just down for a good time. I also clipped a sign that in neon words said "good vibes" this sign never lied. When I went down the stairs, this guy slapped me on a shoulder blade, harder than I could appreciate as a joke. He wanted to know if I was having a good time. His friend laughed. They were trying to create a situation where I could laugh off the moment. I took it, heard the guy until he was done, so the beuatiful chaos of this place both gives and takes. In the final tally, go this place, if you are looking to jam and get loud, cause really if you are not willing to be about that, then this bar at night time might not be for you--- cause it was just a crowd and movement ablaze! read more

Ive been to The Nile Bar an handful of times and I am ready to write a review! It usually takes a few visits for me to feel the place out. OK so let's start! The customer service is good! Everyone I've encountered has been nice and pleasant. The security is nice as well. The food is yummy! I've had a plethora of items on the menu for happy hour and Sunday Brunch, and most of the food is good. At times, the chicken wings could be a bit overcooked, but if you let them know, they will fix the issue with no hesitation. As for the drinks... go for what you know! I've noticed if you let the bartender make a drink for you, they charge $15 or more for some iced hurrican drink full of sugar. Dont go for it! Its a waste of money and very sweet. Even if the bartender make what they specialize in, the cost of the drink is $15 or more. Also, taste the beer first before getting a glass. From my experience the beer was very flat and gross. They may have had issues that day. Overall all the drinks were good!! Lastly, the entire restaurant/bar is clean, however in the women's bathroom I saw a bug...the kind of bug you see in a unclean home....I cant say the restaurant is full of bugs, because a customer could have brought it in within their clothes. But someone else saw the bug too, and it was cleaned up quickly. Nonetheless, this is a great bar, in the middle of Inglewood Market Street with great vibes! I will go again and again! read more

I know the owner here and she probably don't know about the incidents I've had with this one bar tender! I won't call here name but today is 5-30-26; 1655 Hours! The owner can check the schedule and see who she is! This one bartender than messed my bill up twice! When I come to order a drink she put me on hold while serving others. I always speak to everyone and treat them with respect until they get disrespectful! I been here over 30 minutes and she keeps passing me up for others. It ain't a coincidence. This is at least the 5th time. I hate there is one bartender! I'm sure the owner is here to make money and where ever I go I spend money! I could call her out and show her face but I'm gonna be polite. Her behavior is not indicative of the Owner's! Great place to come and get food and drinks that are always good & nice! Terrible service from the bartender, and overall a huge letdown. I visited on Monday night for my first time here. I had been really excited to check this place out. The security at the door was very nice, and the host was welcoming. She told us we could sit anywhere since it was pretty empty, so we chose seats at the bar to watch the large screens. After we sat down, got comfortable, and started looking at the menu, the bartender came over and asked us to move to another area. She explained that the other servers did not have any tables and did not want to be the only one serving. Meanwhile, other people were also choosing to sit at the bar, which made it confusing why we were the ones being asked to move. That interaction felt frustrating and unwelcoming. When guests are told they can sit anywhere, they should not be asked to relocate for internal staffing reasons. That is something management should handle behind the scenes, not something placed on customers. It completely changed the experience for us. We each had one drink and decided to leave. Very disappointing first impression. Staff should be better trained on how to handle situations like this without making customers feel unwelcome. read more

I got there at 6 and just my luck, I was told that happy hour was from 6-7. There were lots of yummy items but I decided on the beef nachos and they did not disappoint. I have heard nothing but good things about this place. Went for happy hour with a friend. IT WAS PACKED, we were fortunate enough to find seats by where they store the liquor in the back. It was so loud in there so loud! The game was on, and people were cheering, and that made it even more louder. We went on a Friday night & since it was happy hour, we were able to take advantage of the deals that they had going on. They waiter was extremely friendly, she checked on us and made her way around the packed place effortlessly. I got the two sliders and fries with the Nile, which is like their version of a lemon drop and then my friend got cauliflower wings with sweet potato fries and a Moscato. I enjoyed my sliders. I wasn't a big fan of the Nile drink because it was made with vodka and I'm more of a tequila person. I did drink it though. I want to say about 30 minutes after eating. I got an insane stomach ache and when I tell you, I had to go, I HAD TO GO! This led to me being sick the whole remainder of the night and into the next morning. after being told by both a customer and a waitress that I could take a table, I was suddenly confronted by that same customer who became extremely aggressive and intimidating. He was a large man who made me feel genuinely unsafe, and it was very clear that there was a lack of adequate security or staff intervention. I want to emphasize how upsetting this was. I felt genuinely threatened and had no choice but to leave out of concern for my own safety. It was extremely disappointing to see that even the security guard present did nothing to address the situation. I will also be sharing my experience on your social media pages because I believe it is important for other patrons to be aware of the environment. I sincerely hope you will take immediate steps to improve the safety and customer service protocols at your establishment. In addition we were told there was an hour wait time for food, and the staff is unorganized and overwhelmed. I have been here multiple times and it seems each time gets worse.
