This location is charging .74 cents per order for a "COVID SURCHARGE" also they charge a separate fee when you order to go. These charges will be reflected on your receipt. None of the workers can explain the charges... they "don't know" what the fee is for or where it goes. It's not a large sum of money per order, but they are the only restaurant in town that does this. I wonder why they are trying to squeeze more money out of customers and where does that money go? read more

Been a regular customer at least 2 to 3 times a week for a while and the service and food have always been good until today 1/27/21 when we went in. They were not busy only about 3 open tables, we sat for 20 minutes and not one of the 3 servers came over to take our order. Guess they were to busy talking and playing. My companions and I recently found respite in this quaint little establishment nestled just off the highway in beautiful West Virginia. An arduous morning's ride, begun before dawn's light, had drawn the purest thunder from the bellies of all who dared undertake this journey. They bellowed, "I could do fast food. But we're already here. Just park we're eating here." We were greeted quite graciously by our waitress Felicia, or was she an angel sent from heaven to serve us omelettes? But our minds would never be free of their quandary. Our time with her, too short. But we would have sausage gravy on our omelettes, so it kind of balanced out. Our order arrived promptly, with little fanfare. The food would speak for itself. The complexity of the dishes was at times overwhelming, a myriad of flavors intermingling in a way only God could have imagined. Geometrical marvels of cheese adorned the finest omelettes and hash browns. Genius. Felicia would check on us several times during our stay. Her service was nothing short of impeccable. We went for lunch, mother in law had the BBQ sandwich it looked good and she said it was tasty. I had the bacon cheese burger it was pretty good the waitress explained that they use fresh hamburger well when the burger can it was a in price of meat that looks just like the meat you get on a McDonalds burger. The bacon on the other hand was really crispy and tasted great and finally the wife had a plain ole salad. Can't go wrong with that. We usually eat here two or three times a month. Normally the food is fine and I have no complaints. Tonight was different. I always order an omelet with sliced tomatoes as a side and since I don't order bread they usually add an extra slice or two of tomato, not tonight. I got my order, asked where were the tomatoes? The server told me they were in my omelet...ok...there was maybe half a slice of tomato diced up in there....not what I usually get. I was very disappointed. Recommended by nearby hotel clerk and open 24 hours. I went at around 10 pm on a Thurs and pretty busy (a good sign:). Ordered food to go - my mom had the OS cheeseburger and it was awesome! She said "I feel like someone made this for me at their house" - meaning yummy and fresh! I had the Denver omelette- it was good but appeared a bit processed- tiny cubed ham and veggies, eggs seemed like egg beater seven though I did not ask for that ( would assume real eggs would be used)?? Cheese partially melted on top, not within.....However, happy they had sliced tomatoes instead of hash browns as I'm on some annoying eating plan/diet!! :) But quaint atmosphere and nice service at this small diner. A few mushrooms were on the outside with a slice of cold cheese on top. Hash browns were cooked only on outside and raw on inside. Toast was soggy. The hamburger was not cooked all the way through, the coffee was awful, the eggs had no flavor and they had the thinnest bacon I've ever seen.
