Everyone was friendly, they were nice when I had substitutions to my order, and the food was amazing.

My brother recommended we come to Becks Prime to try their burgers. I ordered their cheeseburger and it was delicious. This is a bit pricier than other burger spots, but their meat patty was juicy, their bun was fluffy, and their veggies were fresh. Their fries were delicious as well since I found out these were fried in duck fat. We sat on their outside patio overlooking their lake. Beautiful. I go through the drive through 90% of the time. My go to is the baked potato w/grilled chicken & I cannot resist the queso & chips. My son & husband love the burgers. The shakes are very thick ,& they offer a desert size with is just right for me. Service has always been amazing. There is a gentlemen who works the drive thru and he has been with them for 18 years. I just want to give him a shout out because he is the nicest man. He is always smiling and cheerful and so friendly. His positive attitude is contagious and I always leave smiling after seeing him! Becks prime has surprisingly good food even though they have a drive-thru option. The burgers are HUGE and fresh. The sandwiches are a nice variety, a good size, and all the ingredients are also very fresh. I've only dined on the inside once, but in all the years I've lived in Houston, even through the pandemic, Beck's prime has remained in business, and I think that alone is a testimony to the consistency and quality of what they offer. I see they offer true sit-down style meals, and I can't say I've ever tried any of those except for the ahi tuna, which was amazing the one time I had it. I've been coming to this location for 15 years and the food has always been incredible. I usually get the burger, Bills Burger to be specific. But sometimes I'll mix it up and get a chicken sandwich or a loaded chicken/beef baked potato, all of which are 10/10s. To top it off, the chocolate shake is legitimately one of the best I've ever had, and I've always been a connoisseur of shakes since I was a kid. Convenient location Negatives: Burger was far from medium-well. Medium at best. Bottom bun was falling apart when I got home (10 minutes). No prime sauce included. Limp lettuce and shriveled pickles were odd, given that the buns were totally dry. Fries were limp. Ate four and threw away the rest. DON'T ORDER FRIES. I think I was most disappointed by the patty itself. A good burger just needs some salt and pepper. This patty had some strange artificial smoke flavor that is hard to describe. We have been coming here for 24 years but tonight it was horrible! A female manager was extremely rude and condescending to me after making my burger wrong. She was unapologetic, stoic and unconcerned. After telling me she would remake my burger because it was undercooked, I asked her to just finish cooking the one she had just given me. After I explained to her that the rest of my to go order was just going to get cold she just stood there unconcerned. I then asked if she would just remake my other meal so they would both be fresh she said in an extremely condescending manner "sir that's not necessary". This is my second time leaving almost the same review. I chose to delete the last one and give them another chance. But I'm convinced this place can never get orders right. Don't think I've ever ordered from here and they've gotten everything right. Can't even give me a salad that has all their own ingredients on it. Don't offer it if you're not going to put it in there. $20 salad for it to be completely wrong. Given many chances, and My husband and i officially give up on this place. At the Becks Prime 1822 Hughway 6 Sugar Land, Texas 77478 location I went to the drive thru window and was met by a giggly white/hispanic girl that could not stop laughing. She even laughed uncontrollable after giving her a nice tip. She and the cook had a horrible surprise waiting for me that I was not prepared for.. She was laughing beyond control as she handed me my Ribeye steak sandwich that I have enjoyed for around 25years now. My intuition told me that something evil might be going on. However, I figured I might just be too paranoid, and that the uncontrollable laughing had nothing to do with me. After returning home and eating my Ribeye Steak sandwich your best imagination cant describe what I went through. OH MY GOD !!! Immediately after finishing the sandwich I became extremely ill. The girl along with the cook was laughing so profusely primarily because they had poisioned me with some type of extremely harsh toxin. A substance that caused extreme pain and convulsions. I was extremely sick at this point. I was totally sickened , disappointed and appalled at what these employees did to me. All night long and half of the next day I was miserably sick until I finally began to feel relief. I hope OWNERSHIP gets involved and rectify this situation. I am thinking whether to get legal representation. I do have evefything I need to proceed further if I need to. Now, I am determining if I will seek further legal representation which is something I dont like to do. I am sure the Owner and Management leaders would not tolerate this. I know that Management know who these (2) employees are from my description of their behaviour. This review is for the food, not for the service, which was excellent. Shredded lettuce on a $12 chicken sandwich? Are you kidding?? I could have lived with that if the chicken, the bun, vegetables, and whatever dressing they put on it had any taste, but they didn't. The fries were pretty bad too. Not crispy at all, looked like they were cooked in pretty old oil, and tasteless. What a waste of money. I'd have done better with Wendy's. We came here on National Burger Day for their BOGO offer. The lines weren't too long; however the wait for our food was longer than expected. I was getting very hangry! The burger prices are high for a fast food place. My cheeseburger was average in terms of flavor. Thankfully, the meat was not over-cooked, so it was still decently juicy. This Becks has been here for years, I'm surprised it hasn't been reviewed! It's like most Becks - expensive burgers and sandwiches. The service here is always good. There is rarely a line. They have a drive through. They have ample indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is a multi-level deck that overlooks a pond (fountain, ducks, turtles, walking trail). It's a popular destination for families and the lunch crowd. The food is good. My favorite are the french fries. The milkshakes are thick and really tasty. If you get your fries as a 'burger basket' you save a little money on the deal. Also, get a small drink and go back for the free refills. Not the best place to get take out from because the buns are usually soggy and mushy by the time you get home/back to work. The reason I don't give this 5 stars is because it's just too darn expensive. read more

It's been a long time since we've been to Becks Prime. As we walked in you can see they're setup for social distancing. Tables are marked and spaced inside and outside on the patio. Hand sanitizer is available as well. All employees were wearing masks and gloves. Just thought I'd say this for all who have a germ phobia. We ordered cheeseburgers with the parmesan truffle fries. The burgers are cooked medium with a bit of pink in the patty. You can request well done if you so prefer. The food took some time since they cook to order, but when it came out all of it tasted very fresh. I would never consider this place a fast food joint. Like I said, they cook to order just like full service restaurants. The burgers aren't huge, but they were big enough to satisfy us. The burgers had a good ratio of meat, bun, and veggies. I'll give them 4 stars for their burgers. The parmesan truffle fries are so so. The fries are hand cut and are very good, but spending the extra dollar or so for the upgrade wasn't worth it. Very little parmesan on the fries. So, I suggest you just stick with the regular fries. I'll give them 5 stars for the regular fries. Even though this is counter service, the staff at this Beck Prime are very friendly and helpful. I'll give them 10 stars for the staff attitude. With the restaurant industry suffering during the pandemic, it's nice to see employees actually trying to make their customers happy. You can't ask for much more. One final thing. Good grief, stop feeding the ducks and birds on the patio! It may interest you to know these types of creatures can fly. So, they won't starve. They have a wonderful sandwhich that I get here and it holds for over for a huge portion of the day. Its called the ribeye sandwich and comes with tomato, lettuce, and may, and you can add more if you like but you seriously don't need anything extra. I like to get a side of there sweet potatoes as well, they season them nicely. I also like the desert portion of the shakes and makes they have some I like to end with dessert but usually I'm full so I get to have a smaller size of what I want. Very smart! My husband and I don't dine in much anymore with the pandemic, but this place has a large outdoor sitting area. We love their burgers and come up with excuses to just eat there nearly every weekend it is not raining. The blue cheese burger is my personal favorite, and I order it medium well done, versus how they generally cook it because I feel it is much too pink and crumbles as you eat it. We get the regular fries, but their sweet potato fries are very good as well. They are a little pricey, but we feel it is worth it. The buns taste homemade, so much better than Fudruckers!
