The last review I wrote was taken down 10 minutes after I put it on their website. The couch I bought is cheezy. The company that puts things together said there was a"design flaw.". There is no frame, only a front and back board. The front board is bowed out so when the couch was put together it fell off the lip it was designed to sit on. I went down to the floor when I sat on it with the cushion. My credit card company thinks I should have my money back. I wish I had checked into their reputation, it isn't good. If you decide to buy something from them don't be stupid (like I was) and pay for it right away. read more

Never, Never, Never, Never, Never, use Bed Bath and Beyond I purchased 4 chairs from them 6 weeks ago. Two chairs were delivered and they were wrong, the quantity was off because the chairs were sold as sets of two with each box containing 1 chair and I only received 2 boxes. The chairs were wrong so I called the customer service and mentioned the incorrect chair fabric and quantity, I sent pictures of the chairs and in the boxes, and sent them to verify everything. The representative verified the incorrect amount and had concerns that any additional chairs would also have the wrong fabric as well and promised she would check into it and call me back. Instead I received four pick-up shipping labels ( remember I only have 2 boxes). I called back and verified that they do not have the correct chairs and requested 2 shipping labels so I could drop them off at UPS, which I did. Ok this should be the end of the story, but know that's the beginning, I need to shorten the next month of hell with customer service to this. Remember they sent me the pick-up slips, it just happens that I ordered the correct chairs from amazon and they never arrived, after many phone calls and investigations I found that FedEx picked up the chairs right after Amazon dropped them off. Ok it gets worse, I can see through tracking that the chairs are in a warehouse in LA however numerous phone calls and emails with customer service over three weeks were required for them to recognize that and an additional week for a contact number so I can dive 1 hour away to get them. When I contacted the warehouse they had already sold one of the chairs to someone else. BBB says its Amazons Problem and thats were I'm at now. read more

I returned an item on 12/8/2026, the item was received back to their warehouse with proof of delivery on 12/9/2026. I have spoken to several people who have all told me my cc would be refunded in 5-7 business days and I would receive emails with confirmation of this. I have received no emails and after 2 months my cc still hasn't been refunded. I was told every time this would be escalated. I even told them I didn't believe them since I was told this before. Their customer service is terrible!!!!!! I have filed a claim with my cc. Don't do business with them especially if you return something they all lie. read more

Absolutely terrible customer service like a lot of the reviews here mentioned. Had to become a premium member which cost me $24 to return my product because the shipping label would have been $60. Was told I was going to get a refund now they are saying it's going to be in store credit. Product was delivered 4 days ago, now they are escalating it to try to get my in store credit, there return process is absolutely terrible. read more

This company no longer has physical stores but they still sell their products online. I shopped in their stores frequently when they were still open and never had a problem. I placed my first order with their online site and what a nightmare. The product arrived two weeks late and when it finally arrived I found that they sent the wrong product! It is a nightmare to reach the company. There is no customer service number to call so I started with online chat and was only able to speak to a rebot. I then texted with an online agent. When you try to talk to someone via text you set and wait for several minutes each time you answer one of their questions. I finally, after several text conversations, received the label so I could return the product. I have not received a refund but the product was delivered to their processing center. When I tried texting them for status on the refund my text message was "dropped" in the middle of the conversation 3 different times. After speaking with the 4th agent in a 15 minute time period I was told the refund would be processed "soon". Also you are required to have an online account to place an order but every single time you try to log into your account you are required to reset your password! I was told this is a "system glitch". I still love their products but will NEVER order from them again. read more

Customer service is A1 ! Went in to find a face steamer (I was feeling extra that day) and the employee who helped me took his time like so did to find the correct one. Came in another day looking for a bedspread and 3 employees came over and also looked in the back to find the one I was looking for. OMG I wish I could reach everybody to tell them to get down to BB&B for your Ninja 6&1 Grill. Sent hubbie (left brain) down for the grill and a few other things with coupons which I explained for app30 minutes. After several huff and puffs kicked him out the door,just give it to the cashier. People, the grill priced at $279.99 everywhere has a$50. Promotion and with my 20% coupon it came to WAIT FOR IT $199.99. I was shocked!!! WOW,way to go BB&B. read more

These items were canceled several days ago, they were taking to long to ship, I don't have them they were supposed to be shipped to the store as I was out of town, and they are refusing to refund it on a gift card so I could have purchased something else on the floor. It is all about manager Chris Rainwater. This store manager took the title of this store.. bed, bath and "beyond" his call of retail duty to hook me up. Here is the tale. I wanted that disco ball backyard spike that glows in the garden at night. It has a that kind of funky and cool-tastic vivid display of color in a cracked globe when the sun goes down. I tried to find this item in LA because my pot head neighbor ( wait, medical cannabis patient ) had them in his potted plants on the balcony. I LOVED the Alice in wonderland look of his balcony. I tried to find one, no luck...I figured I'd wait go to palm springs (my weekend place) and try that enormous store on Ramon road...they didn't have it either. BUMMER So manager Chris R. Saw my disappointment and feverishly searched the other side of the store front and back. Not having this item in stock he called palm desert location, they didn't have it either! So he says, "Let me try La Quinta store, I live there so I can swing by and bring them here if they have them for you tomorrow." HE DID. On his own time! If BB&B is searching to have the best retail customer service they sure raise the bar by having Chris R. At the front doing everything to make my experience at the store a memorable one! Although the staff wore gloves and masks, baskets were outside and not identified as sanitized. There was no effort to tell customers which baskets were clean. We had come into the store specifically to use a coupon and were told that the coupon was not valid despite the fact that there was absolutely nothing on the coupon to indicate that this was the case. We were told that the coupon was only for Black Friday, and only for curbside pickup. When we questioned why there was nothing on the coupon to indicate this, the manager dismissed us with not even an apology. She stated that 'they' must have updated the coupon because it was only meant for Black Friday, In any case, I won't be returning to Bed & Bath. read more

The girl at the register closest to the entrance goes out of her way to greet customers coming in, even if she's busy handling a transaction. As you walk around the store other employees from other departments always acknowledge you and ask if you need assistance. The store is very clean and organized. I enjoy the $5 off or 20% off coupons they send in the mail. I have purchased items with expired coupons and they still take them. Don't EVER order furniture through BBB's website. It has taken over three weeks since my order, and their "advisement" of shipping delivery dates to my home was sporadic and vague. They use MULTIPLE shipping companies from the origination of your order to your residence which can NOT BE TRACKED for any reason. My delivery was finally scheduled with a 4-hour window, numerous calls from the shipping/delivery company advising me of delays, and THEN rescheduling for another delivery date! BBB's choice of freight conveyors and delivery services are absolutely pathetic. Point: Just don't buy furniture from BBB under any circumstances - you'll regret it and waste two days of your valuable time. read more

When we got home we realized we forgot a bed skirt and sheets to match the comforter. When we came back we had some excellent assistance from Mary. I searched on the internet for a bpceag800/927 LED lightbulb and this store's web site said they had it in stock at my local store so I order ONE and go to the store. They hand me TWO light bulbs neither one is the one I ordered, nor is it made by the right company, wattage is wrong, and worse of all the color temperature is wrong. The one I ordered is a soft white, the one they claimed was associated with that SKU # had a color temperature of 5000K which is a daylight white. The go in the back and bring out one which costs twice what I was told and the color temperature is again wrong. Don't order online from this store if you want a specific item, by their actions I don't think they care and the fact they put aside two wrong light bulbs seems to demonstrate this. I don't like having my time wasted and this store while usually providing good quality items doesn't provide good customer care. read more

I have to tell you, customer service at BB&B is superior. I bought a Calphalon 12 cup coffee maker at BB&B at the end of September, 2012. Today I woke up and found that the coffee maker ceased to work. I called BB&B in Palm Springs (where I bought it) and explained what happened--especially since I bought it 7 months ago. They told me to bring it in with the receipt, which I did, and they exchanged it with no questions asked. Now that's what I call customer service. I rushed through a Saturday morning doing several chores, of which Bed, Bath and Beyond was about the third stop on my list. I made my purchase and hurried out of the store; however unbeknownst to me I left my checkbook in the shopping basket. The person who waited on me, Mr. Cisco Delgado, found the checkbook and kept it in his office. Upon my frantic return to the store, he promptly returned my checkbook and explained that he had followed me out of the store shortly after I left and found that I had left my checkbook behind in the basket.
