I was sent to another representative who showed me the faucet recommended by the contractor. I chose one in one color and he said they only had it in another color. I said thank you and proceeded to leave when another man scolded the second man and told him he had one in my color. The second man picked it up and wrote me a slip. The third man said he was giving me a 30% discount. Well, upon installation the faucet didn't work and the shop wouldn't give a refund. In addition, the amount he charged me with a 30% discount was more than I would have paid at Menards. Luckily the contractor got the piece to fix it. Horrible experience.

Although pleasant and friendly, she did not follow through on my order and also gave me incorrect delivery dates for both vanity and onyx top, allowing the contract with my very reliable labor crew to lapse before installation was completed. Fortunately, Evan Devine, Shilling's Service Manager was able to get " Custom Cal Homes Remodeling " to complete a perfect installation. I would advise all who order specific cabinetry to not only submit a picture of what they desire but also to sign the exact spec sheet of the Schilling building plan. in addition, before starting a major bath rehab which might demand a cast iron tub breakdown, I would advise waiting until "after" your vanity and top are delivered and accepted. I gave Schilling a 5 star review,not only for a great finished bath rehab, but also for employing stellar personal that was able to make that happen. PITIFUL! THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND PRODUCTS SOLD!…read more I started rehabbing a house in 2017 and sparred no expense as I was looking to have the least maintenance in the future. I spent well over a 100 grand on windows framing lumber sheathing zipboard doors siding fixtures trim decking railings and so much more. I purchased LP siding in late 2018 and was installed into early 2019. I paid extra to have the siding double coated which was presented as a 50 year warranty. Within a couple of years I noticed the siding chalking and the trim opening up like a sponge. In early 2022 I presented this issue to Scott Czapar who was my salesperson that I had been dealing with since day one. Schillings had purchased the LP siding from Cedar Siding INC which has since gone out of business. I spoke to both Scott and Kyle who brought this to the attention of Dean Schillings. I paid 7500 dollars in labor and 1500 in materials to have my house repainted. I was asking Schillings to cover half the cost of materials which was 750 dollars in which they denied. They suggested that the warranty was from the company they bought the siding from. I bought the siding from Schillings not anywhere else. I will not spend 10 cents at their company ever again. Scott Czapar has never been the issue and has always gone above and beyond to address the many issues that came about. Also anyone reading this please go out and look at your siding and see if it has failed! I can guarantee that I am not the only person this has happened to. Stay away. My modest…read moreguest bathroom needed a refresh so I reached out to Home Depot to get the project started. Absolute was one of two contractors who were sent my way. I chatted with the contact at Absolute, Eric, and he came out to my home to review the project. We discussed in depth what I was looking for: gutting the bathroom, replacing the tub with a walk in shower, new toilet, new vanity. Eric put a quote together for ~$16,000 that covered both materials and labor. I decided to proceed and signed a contract with that amount in March for a June project date and paid in full upfront. Two months later, in May, Oscar from Absolute reaches out to me to explain that Eric left the company and they were sorting through his files. I passed along the documentation that I had. Absolute then tells me that Eric did not quote the project correctly and that it would cost an additional $8,000 -- 50% more than what I had already paid. From there, I had several back-and-forth conversations with Absolute about the contract that I had signed. Absolute's position was that the $16,000 figure only covered labor and all materials were my responsibility -- which was news to me and did not at all reflect what I discussed with Eric or what the quote said. When I pointed out that the quote was all-inclusive, I was told that the quote was irrelevant and "just an estimate". Then Absolute cited irrelevant contract language as grounds to adjust the price, all the while acting like they were really going out of their way to help fix the mess that they made. I asked Absolute if they could provide me a "best and final" number to complete the project, even removing some of the bells and whistles from the quote. That knocked the price down to an additional $6,000, which still exceeded the price quoted by the other provider I met with. Absolute agreed to refund my money -- having wasted months of my time -- and presented a document for me to sign. However the document presented did not guarantee that I would receive a full refund and I had to ask several times for that language to be included. Finally Absolute did so and my refund was processed. This experience has soured me not only on Absolute but on working with Home Depot entirely. I'll take my money to Lowe's going forward. Stay away from these guys or expect a bait-and-switch circus.
