Course is greatly improved! They are putting some much needed upgrades into the short game and driving range areas. With the new greenskeeper/superintendent the course is looking and playing amazing. Most of the staff is nice and accommodating, there are some that are rude and unhelpful. Seem to be on edge from the management yelling at them in front of the guests. Got kicked off course because group of teenagers claimed we hit into them. They said we were confronted but no one said a word. waste of money and was told we hit into them 5 holes in a row yet we only played 4 holes. So disappointed was my favorite course of all time. Course is in decent shape. However, for the money. ($57 dollars) for 18 holes with cart, it is over priced. Not one ball washer on the course had solution in them and Porta potties were few and far between. I won't be back there. read more

One of the worst golf courses getting treated unfairly and we had to wait on people before we tee'd off and yet we was being rushed like we're was we supposed to hit the ball??? We had a guy with tattoos on his head and a black man on our 4 man scramble and yet we was the only ones to be treated like that it seems like and our cart was right next to our other 2 and yet ours was in a restricted area but yet there's wasn't we was taking the same path and everything but they was okay didn't make sense and they did nothing to help the first time experience out our first time was terrible. I would never go there again. I can't reply to it but I'm pretty sure there was people in front of us when there is we can't hit unless we want to hit golf balls at them which we do not want to so it's called simply waiting for them to get far enough and if we was taking so long maybe there shouldn't be a thing for a cart girl but she was great so not blaming her but we stopped multiple times to buy drinks and tip her like we should and you guys should want us too. And indeed we did not get kicked out we left. And yet we always waited on people in front of us instead of hitting balls at them. read more

I rarely leave reviews, but after my recent experience at Bedford Hills Golf Course, I felt compelled to speak up--especially for anyone considering playing here for the first time. I paid $54 for two people to play just 9 holes, which is absolutely outrageous for spring golf, especially when the course conditions were nowhere near acceptable. Fairways were rough, greens inconsistent, and overall maintenance clearly lacking for the season. Yet, they're charging peak-season pricing for sub-par conditions. On top of that, the ranger's conduct was beyond frustrating. I waited behind a group the entire round who were hitting multiple balls off the tee and taking their time with no urgency whatsoever. Nothing was said to them until the 8th hole. Meanwhile, I played one extra ball on a single par 3--with no one waiting behind me--and was the one who got called out. I wasn't holding anyone up, and had played at a steady pace all day. I understand wanting to keep play moving, but if you're going to enforce rules, enforce them fairly across the board. Being singled out while others were clearly doing much more was insulting and completely soured the experience. All in all, it felt like I paid premium rates for a mediocre course and was treated poorly in the process. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend it to others--especially when there are plenty of other courses in better shape, for better value, and with staff who know how to treat their players. read more

I do not take reviews lightly due to the fact it could damage a business, I put some thought into this before I decided to post this. My family and I visited on Father's Day to play at the newly renovated mini golf course "BEDROCK" I have a gift card, on the gift card it states "no expiration dates or service fees" when you scan the QR code on the back and follow the process it says there is a 50$ balance. When we first arrived we spoke to a young woman that wasn't sure how to use the gift card, but was very helpful and allowed my family to get started while she waited on the manager to help her. I left the gift card with the young woman and planned to stop back at the building there once we were completed to get the gift card back with the remaining balance. We were about half way through the mini golf course when we were approached by a woman who was clearly the manager. She proceeded to tell me the gift card was not valid and could not be used. I questioned her on this based of the facts on the gift card, she once again told me it was not valid, I started to tell her "That's fine I'll pay for this but I'm " and that's when I was rudely cut off and told you don't have to pay for this round. Ok it's nice of her to allow me not to pay but to cut me off while I'm speaking was rude, and she put the gift card in her pocket. My wife had to ask her for the gift card back. At this point she was walking away and I did not continue to debate with her because I was trying to enjoy time with my family on Father's Day. Money is not an issue and I have absolutely no problem with paying. But when a gift card says no expectation date and has a 50$ balance how does it become no good. The woman then walked away never to be seen again, at the end of the course we spoke with the young woman again and once again she was helpful, we bought a coke and a few waters and were on our way to our next adventure for the day. In summary. Nice miniature golf Nice employee Rude manager Doesn't honor gift cards The manager could have and should have waited till we were finished to have the conversation but instead she interrupted my family's time and was rude. After reviewing their google page it's clear they do not care about negative reviews due to absolutely no response to them or any care to help their paying customers. I can say with confidence if the course was not so well established they would not make it very long due to poor customer service. read more

After having an awful experience on 7/4/23 and swearing I'd never play here again, I decided to give them another shot yesterday morning 10/3/23 when a friend invited me to play. After all everyone deserves a second chance. I'm sad to report that the staff at Bedford Hills failed again. Some words that come to mind to describe the staff...rude, unprofessional, disrespectful, disorganized, harassing, and arrogant. While the course presents as well manicured, the greens were rock hard, and the rough was ridiculous. I get that the rough should be a penalty but I wasn't prepared for US Open rough. Trying to locate a ball was impossible more than once. Between the four of us in my group we literally left a dozen balls out there because the literally disappear in that crap. I haven't had this bad of an experience on a golf course since 7/4/23, at the same course. They could offer me a free membership and I'd decline. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I just wanted to take the time to write a review regarding the slow play we dealt with last night. We booked a 630 tee time, when we arrived we were told the last league team went off at 610. So we waited until 630 to tee off. The ladies group in front of us was not great which created us having to wait up to 15-18 min between shots at time (because we timed it multiple times) They had terrible course etiquette, they would leave their carts parked in front of the green not allowing us to tee off at times until they were finished completely. They would also drop multiple balls or tee off multiple times as we were sitting waiting to tee off, it was just down right rude. We were informed by the ranger that this group had the owners wife in it. I'm sorry but I don't care that this is the owners wife, she should be the one keeping pace of play up and understanding golf etiquette. Playing 9 holes in 2 hours and 22 minutes is asinine!!!!! read more

I played this course on August 6, 2023 for the first time while visiting the area. I had read some bad reviews and didn't expect much. I played the 9 hole Buckeye course. The course was in very good condition and, although a bit short (par 35 and 2900 yards from Blue tees) it was fun to play. No really stupid holes. The greens were scarred up some by discourteous golfers not fixing their ball marks but they were nice-sized greens with some challenge to them. The cart paths were mostly rutted dirt and awful but the rest of the course was great. Layout is a little tight but far better than some public courses. Staff was pleasant and golf course operation was well organized. My only complaint was a group of six that were playing together and probably unauthorized. It was late in the day but this should never happen. Will play here again when I'm in the Bedford-Lambertville area. read more

Friendly staff and beverage cart personnel. Course is always in good shape and they are very accommodating. We have had our league there for over five years and plan on returning again next year. Not the longest or toughest course, but always in good shape and fun to play. read more

Excellent course. Very well maintained with super nice greens and tee boxes. The club house has great views of the three courses. We played the Irish and the buckeye and loved them both. The staff is super friendly and helpful for us first timers there. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars as I prefer electric carts as opposed to gas. Just played there in a scramble. What a shame how much this course has deteriorated since it was sold. I have played in a league there as well as open play. It used to be in great shape. How anyone reviewing would say this is in good condition is baffling. Weeds growing on aprons of greens. Weeds all over areas around tee box. Tees are in terrible shape. Sad to see. read more

Wow! What can I say about this place. There are 3 (9) hole courses: Buckeye, Wolverine, and Irish. The owner of this place has done an amazing job with the upkeep as it is absolutely stunning. Perfect mix of lush green fairways, mean sand trips, and the beautiful water ways. The owner is always in a bobcat or gator making improvements to this place so that right there tells you how much he is invested in the quality of Bedford Hills Golf Club. Customer service is great. Hardly ever a wait time between holes. Decent prices and awesome good. I love giving my business to a place like Bedford Hills. My personal favorite course is Buckeye (most my balls end up in the water and this track has the least water). Give this place a try! read more

Poor customer service. Was told my group was playing the Wolverine to the Irish when I made my tee time. When we checked in, we were told we were playing the Irish then the Buckeye. The Buckeye 9 is short and ridiculously tight. A driver is good for about 3 of the holes. It's not much better than a long executive 9. My guess is they added walk on golfers to the Wolverine in front of us to cram more golfers in. When I complained, All I heard from the staff was "sorry sir". I never would have booked if I knew we were on the Buckeye. Worse than the fiasco above, we were sandwiched in between rude, loud golfers with no sense of etiquette. Bedford Hills Golf Course is an awesome place to play golf and enjoy time out. The environment is very relaxing and enjoyable for all family members and guest. This course is pretty complex and always gives you a challenge each hole. read more

Check in staff and Bar staff were great, however we were approached by a man whom started yelling at us when we were at the green. He demanded we only leave our clubs on the green, and proceeded to tell us we were moving too slow and to let everyone else play on( it was packed) we will not return. read more
