    Vegetarian Spring Rolls
    LaKayla L.

Tried this place for a late lunch and it was just a pleasant visit. The ambiance is nice and serene. The music was an old school RnB mix which was a plus. I went around 2:30 and it wasn't busy at all. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Our waiter was super sweet! I ordered the vegetarian spring rolls and vegetarian curry puffs for an appetizer and the garlic sautéed vegetable mix as an entree. The spring rolls were crunchy and tasty. The curry puffs were splendid. The filling was absolutely divine. The vegetable mix's garlic sauce was really savory! I love broccoli in oyster sauce and this dish reminded me of that! The broccoli was nice and tender. This place is a gem for some good Thai cuisine! ***SN: I believe this place and Thai Me are sister restaurants. I was looking at the menu and thought it looked oddly familiar. Nonetheless, both places are great and offer different selections!

Absolutely enjoyed my meal here! Small space but nicely done. Started with vegetarian curry puffs and had the basil fried rice with salmon as the entree. Everything was nicely prepared and delicious. Would definitely recommend. Brought the leftovers home

This neighborhood Thai spot is so beautiful inside! It's not a big restaurant but the size of the space is wonderful for a party of two or four. The cocktails here are really refreshing and not too strong. I liked the Muay Thai Punch a lot. Only two servers were working the whole restaurant but they were both still efficient and very helpful with recommendations! The Chicken Sate was one of their recs and it was juicy and tender. I also really enjoyed their fresh Steamed Mussels. The Crab Meat Pad Thai was okay! Lots of crab in it was nice, but the noodles were leaning on the sweeter side. However, you have to try the Avocado Tilapia Fish dish. It comes with a panang curry and it was super flavorful!

First of all, great happy hour deal with $3 wine and beer. Service was very prompt and kind, and very attentive. Ambiance was nice, but the music was just a little loud for a casual dinner spot. The meal was great, my only note is that I thought the drunken noodles could've been a bit spicier. They also were out of the appetizer I ordered, but that is totally understandable.

We usually pop in during the weekday afternoons, and the staff is so kind! The design is quaint, and they have a patio - which we love for the warmer months. The food is good and comes out quickly! We really loved the special here - really flavorful and perfectly balanced! Really reliable spot. Stop by!

This place really surprised me - I loved the peanut chicken dish. This will be a regular spot for me, fairly priced. Not BYOB

I love this place! It's so beautiful. I fell in love with where I was seated in the corner. Very Thai. The food was excellent. Great flavors, not too much or too little of anything. Spot on. Our server was very kind. Will be back for more!

Beds Thai is an awesome neighborhood restaurant with great cocktails, good food and a chill vibe. I ordered the spring rolls, dumplings, shumai and the pork krapow. All of the dishes were quite delicious with the exception of the pork krapow. I thought there was very little meat and it was more of a vegetable stir fry. However, the meal was still quite tasty. The service was also impeccable and they serve plum wine with a delicious floral ice cube. If you're in the neighborhood check out Beds Thai!

I wish that I could have given this place 5 stars but a couple of things just weren't right. Let me start by saying everything was fixed after we raised the issues to our waitress. But...we got there at 4pm and the doors were locked. Later found out they close from 3-4 for staff lunch. Ordered an app and entree and the waitress forgot the app. Ordered extra spicy noodles and pineapple FR and had to send it back because it wasn't added. Received the check and we reminded her of the forgetful service and she apologized asking us did we still wait the app? I said "for free" nope! That didn't happen however, she did give us a iced chai to go on the house. May give this place another try and hopefully it'll be better, food was good though...

Randomly tried this location on a Sunday evening and it did not disappoint. Beautiful decor and good food. The highlights were definitely the apps -- especially the duck spring rolls. I could have eaten that by the dozen. The sesame oil was a bit too forward on the Pad Woon Sen and masked any other flavor profile. But it was still edible and enjoyable.

Barely any flavor. 5/10 The mala pork intestine soup noodle: I got the regular spiciness level and it was actually quite spicy. If you can't tolerate spicy food, try mild or medium first. The pork intestine is bit chewy. Otherwise the flavor is good. 8/10 The seafood tom yum soup noodle: mild tom yum flavor. The soup base is slightly on the sour side. Overall is good. 8/10 Thai style soup noodle: the soup flavor is good. Not too spicy. 9/10 We also tried the brown sugar rice cake: it's just ok. Not crunchy enough. The brown sugar is missing some caramelized flavor. So it is a sweet rice ball. 5/10 I think the temperature inside would be fine if you go during a cool day. When it's a hot day, the restaurant could get very hot even if they turn on both ACs. With just 2 ACs insides, and eating a hot bowl of spicy soup noodle, we were all sweating inside. Though the food is good, I would not return during summertime. It's just too hot to enjoy a good bowl of hot soup noodle.

I asked to sub rice for noodles because one of my kids is a rice pot (can't go without rice) and requested extra sauce, which they kindly provided. The set meals are a fantastic deal; a full size entree, an appetizer and a drink for $19-20. An extra order of noodles is $2.50 and it's really double the amount of noodles that comes in your entree. I also ordered their new dish with has abalone and sea cucumber; this is not part of a set meal. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It has that umami sweetness that comes from a great soup base and the noodles are delicious as usual. The abalone was tender, the sea cucumber had a bite to it. There was fish maw and wood ear in there as well.

To start off, we had the Cheeseburger Dumplings ($12), which was so unique. We've never had something like this and they executed it really well. The dumplings were filled with meat and fried with a skirt. The cheese part was topped over it like a melty dressing, so a delicious and special dish here. Plus, it had a side salad to balance all the grease here. For the entrees, we had to get the udon and shared the Niku Udon ($25) and Salmon Ikura Udon ($30). It was a nice combo between a hot and cold udon. The Niku was your classic udon bowl filled with plenty of beef and a perfectly soft-boiled egg. The broth was sweet and savory for a warm and comforting meal. On the other hand, the salmon udon was quite unique with matcha udon and fresh salmon. There is a dashi to pour and mix into the noodles, which still gave it flavor and the slurp you want in a udon. Both were so great in its own way. Even their ramen also looked great, but I love all noodles. Definitely a great spot to dine near Barclays Center. Love to come back whenever I'm in the area again. The udon dishes are on the pricier side, but they're huge bowls.

It's been open for a few years, so clearly it has a good enough formula to keep the neighborhood happy. I have been here once before, but returned last week after dining several meals at Tomoni in Jackson Heights. Apparently, the owners are friends. Nonetheless, I needed to make the comparison. After my first few bites of their Tora Don and Chirashi Don, it was clear that this restaurant has the better quality seafood. Each slice of sashimi had vibrant colors, clean taste, and the proper texture. Tomoni is not bad, but fall slightly short of this caliber. With that said, there is an even farther gap between their rice quality. Though Tora is very good, Tomoni produces nearly perfect texture and acidity for my taste buds. Other than the best omakase restaurants in NYC, Tomoni shines as one of the best versions of sushi rice in the five boroughs. Service is good and space is cute. If I have a craving for some decent Japanese food, I would drive 20 minutes here for a meal anytime.
