Moving from downstate, where it's a public water supply and now having a well made me nervous ! I feared having sulfur water!!!! I was told by Bill that the system had to be cleaned out annually (which cost me$500/year) and it's a potassium based system (bags of Kcl Na ate $40/bag). Eventually my water started to smell like sulfur and I had it tested thru a reputable water testing lab and it was super hard water!! Not at all what you'd expect from a softener! Bill came to "clean" my system last fall and was here a very short time( don't think he even cleaned it), he collected $500 cash and didn't even offer me a receipt. I asked him if he tested the water to see if it needed adjustments etc.. he said..oh yeah, your water is fine. Just throw some bleach in your well (shock it) and run it thru and get some iron out. I didn't do either of those things and I decided to have it tested (for$250). Per the water test there is no bacteria and no iron in my water! There was however high levels of magnesium and calcium, and many other minerals!! This guy will never answer your calls or return your messages! I now have a new system that was 1/2 the price and the water is CRYSTAL CLEAR! Not a mineral in it and no smell ! The purasoft system left water stains everywhere, didn't allow any lather of soaps or detergents! All my fixtures had build up!! I've gone thru several coffee pots! STEER CLEAR Of THIS COMPANY ! Oh yeah.. and I had a roof fire (in 2017) and rebuilt the ENTIRE house. All new plumbing, navien hot water heater and brand new appliances... that all have mineral build up and water stains!!

Everything went well with installation and I was happy until the problems began…read more No one answers the phone at the location Service technicians make appointments when you are able to contact them on their phones, then cancel appointments or don't show up at scheduled time. They don't call to tell you they are running late or call to reschedule. You have to keep calling them. I purchased and oxygenated water system, soft water system, and Reverse Osmosis system. The problems first began when water started coming out of the tap the color of milk. We were never told this was part of the oxygenation process by sales or upon installation. People are afraid to drink the water when they see the color. Then the water from every tap tasted of salt and was undrinkable, I had to buy bottled water after opening a fortune on this system. When I spoke to Stephen in the office he refused to get someone out until the following week. it took two service calls for someone to resolve that issue. I was told by both the sales representative and service techs that Stephen owned the company. However, the one and only time I was able to get anyone in the office regarding the problems was Stephen and he denied it. A few weeks ago my water was no longer soft, I reached a technician on his personal phone and scheduled an appointment. On the morning of the appointment I received a call from the technician because he he had to cancel the appointment and would call me to reschedule when he got to the office. I did not receive a call and had to call and text him the end of that week to reschedule the appointment. The day of that appointment I received a call that he was running late and he gave me an updated time of arrival, he showed up late. In addition, I smelt a strong odor of beer from him but did not confront him because I was alone. When the technician checked the water upon arrival and before he left, he confirmed the water was hard. However, he assured me that after it went through it's cycle the problem would be resolved. While I was venting my frustration to the technician about the problems we were experiencing he actually told me we were not experiencing any problems. I then had to run through the list again and he insinuated that I was the one that had the problem and I was lucky I wasn't being charged for all the service calls. Once again, I never heard from anyone to schedule the follow up appointment My husband then reached him and an appointment was scheduled. My husband told his employer he would be in late because he wanted to be here for the appointment. The appointment was scheduled for 9:00 AM today 11/21/22 and no show or call. At 9:11 AM my husband place his first call to the technician and his call went to his voice mail. At 9:17 AM he called the office only to be sent to a voice mail at every extension. Three more calls were placed to the technician with no response. We had the phone number of another technician that had been to our house and my husband reached that technician. The technician that was supposed to be at the appointment was with him so he passed the phone to him. The technician insisted with my husband that my husband strong armed him to come on Monday and that he wanted to come on Tuesday instead. My husband explained he took time off of work, because this was the day and time the technician told him when they spoke. If he said he wouldn't be able to get out until Tuesday, he would have scheduled the appointment for Tuesday and gone in late. My husband was told the other technician would arrive around noon and he would eventually arrive as well. We are awaiting their arrival. I DO NOT RCOMMEND THIS COMPANY! We spent a fortune for these systems and the service is horrendous. In addition to having to purchase water because it was undrinkable due to the salt, now we have water spots on everything because the water is hard. I have just filed a formal complaint with the finance company they use. I feel they should be aware of the problems with dealers they do business with. Now I know that the system he sold us is unreliable and he does not want to deal with it, so they are trying to get rid of us. Dear Meti: I understand your wife is upset because I was unable to change the quartz sleeve. She is accusing my office manager of not doing the correct steps in setting up the recent appointment and accusing me of overcharging for the recent service and at some previous visit(s) not testing the water to discover that the water is acidic. First, I will address the accusation that my office manager messed up the service by not scheduling a quartz sleeve change. This is not true, as it was scheduled and the problem came in the fact that I received the incorrect quartz sleeve from my supplier. You were there and saw that the sleeve was wrong. My office manager did everything correct and the incorrect sleeve was the problem. Second, there was no overcharge for the service call. If you keep your receipts you can look back and see that the most recent service needed more materials than the one previous to that. If you look closer, you will also notice that we charged you less for the UV bulb than the previous service due to our cost going down. You have water that has a variable pH and some years you use up the calcite in the neutralizer and some years you don't, because when the natural pH of the water rises prior to treatment, the neutralizer does not need to do as much work. And the last point in the previous paragraph leads to the final accusation of me not saying anything about the low pH (acidic water). I test your water every year, and the year that a low pH was detected, I converted your Birm filter into a neutralizer by removing some media and replacing it with calcite. The pH of your water varies, and as soon as the low pH was detected, I made a change to the system to compensate for it. I can not have customers calling my office and being uncivil towards those answering the phones. I am willing to meet with you and change the sleeve if I can get the correct one, and only charge you for the sleeve, but after this, I am in a position where I will no longer be able to service your water equipment.
