Pros: The convenience of the drive through. Friendly Staff. Cute and clean aesthetic. Cons: I purchased the galletita latte and purchased the regular size, which was supposed to be $6.34. The girl asked me if I wanted the cookie butter sweet foam, I said yes. When I paid the amount was $7.24. I was a little confused but thought maybe it was taxes. Later I realized that they charged an extra .90 cents for the foam. It was my first time here so I had no idea that you had to pay for the foam. Even the advertised photo has foam. Typically these specialty lattes come with the woks already so that was a disappointment. When I initially tasted the latte it had a strong artificial taste. It wasn't good, but after mixing everything together, cold foam and topping, the taste became pleasant. Without the cold foam it wouldn't have been as good. In my opinion it really needs it to balance out the strong taste of whatever is giving it that strong artificial taste. There were other drinks that caught my eye so I might be back to give it another try. I just wish they would alert the customer of the up charge for foam, and maybe not have the drink with the foam advertised. read more

Wanted to try a few things before reviewing. First off, the drive thru person was good at explaining their drinks and very patient when answering my questions, especially since she's out there in the heat taking the orders. Good customer service experience Drinks: So far i have liked all the one's I've tried. I will say that they are very sweet so I would suggest half the sugar, which is still sweet enough. The iced churro latte tastes like you'd expect, a sugar cinnamon bomb. It has cajeta around the cup so that adds to the sweetness. It's probably the sweetest one l tried, but was very good. I tried this as is so I would suggest 50% sweetness and maybe no cajeta The iced Coquito latte is essentially a coconut latte. I liked that the coconut is not super artificial and it ends up being more of a coconut hint. I got this with an extra shot since apparently a 16 oz only comes with one shot. Idk if that's the same for all the drinks so I would ask. I'm used to 2 shots as a standard so thought that was weird. The iced cafe de olla iced is ok. It has a strong clove taste that can be a little much sometimes. The irresistible iced latte was pretty good. I believe it's brown sugar based. It's also supposed to be stronger because it automatically gets an extra shot. Pastries: they were actually disappointing. The strawberry croissant was probably the worst. The pastry dough is not flaky and the filling is bland. It was not worth the sugar/calories so I didnt have more than 2 bites. The churro coffee cake was dry. read more

First timer! We ordered (2) chocolate croissants, (1) concha, (1) large iced mocha latte, and (1) medium iced Dulce slide leche. The drinks were yummy (mocha hits with caffeine). The concha was soft and delicious. The croissants were big, chocolately, and delicious. My only issues was the parking lot. Trying to get around the drive through line as someone who parked and went inside was difficult. There were times we had to wait for the drive through folks to move so we can slide by to get out of the parking lot. I've been to the other Mas Cafecito locations in La Puente and Baldwin Park, but this was my first visit to the Montclair location. This coffee shop is fairly new, and I really like that this location has a drive-thru, which makes it super convenient to order and be on your way.This time I tried the Horchata Latte, and I really enjoyed it! I usually order the Spanish Latte, but I wanted to switch it up, and I'm glad I did. The coffee was smooth, flavorful, and just as good as I expected. What I love most about this location is that it's only about five minutes from where I live, so it's nice to have one so close by. I've had great experiences at their other shops, and this one definitely lived up to them. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks! read more

New coffee spot in Montclair, was so excited to try it out and it was so good! So far my favorite Spanish latte you can actually see all the lechera in it, it was perfect. Dulce de leche was also very good they met the expectation as best sellers. Parking can be a bit rough here as the lot mixes in with the drive through. This is a new addition to montclair's coffee community and i'n not complaining! I've been to the location in BP ! I usually get the iced cafe de olla light ice with foam on top. it's really delicious! not as strong as a latte but it has a balanced flavor of coffee and sweetness. To be honest the drinks here are on the sweeter side, a little too sweet for me. If you enjoy really sweet drinks I'd recommend their lattes such as the dulce de leche one ! They have some breakfast items as well. The bagel with bacon was pretty good just small so it's more of a snack for me at least LOL! This place reminds me of tierra mia when it comes to sweetness and the line that goes out the street. I will be back whenever i'm craving an iced coffee :p read more

I've been to the Montclair location a few times now and each time I don't feel welcomed, there's not a good morning, and the lack of effort to even initiate a conversation from the employees is extremely evident. So glad to have a new, unique coffee spot in the neighborhood. The location is a bit challenging because it's so small with extremely limited parking and a drive thru that tends to back up into the street. However, the staff is managing the drive thru fairly well with employees out front taking orders from the drive thru the way other fast food businesses do. I was fortunate to avoid the parking/drive thru busyness by walking to the establishment. As far as coffee drinks, they have a variety of options with a Latin theme. They also have breakfast sandwiches and pastries, but I was a little disappointed that those options did not have a latin theme. Just your basic ham/egg/cheese sandwiches. No chorizo, no chile, no quesadilla, no burritos. The spiciest thing I found was a jalapeno cheese danish. So my order was a hot horchata latte and the jalapeno cheese danish. Both delish, but only as an occasional treat. I know that latte more than exceeded my daily allowance of sugar! It would be nice if they offered some sugar free options. There's a tiny cute seating area with bumping Mexican tunes and WiFi. A lively way to start the day or a nice pick me up later in the day or evening. This past weekend was their soft opening, so we decided to check out this new coffee shop. There was a huge line inside and an even longer drive-thru line, but that didn't deter us because I really wanted to see what the hype was about. I love that their coffee and latte menu fits the brand perfectly with Hispanic inspired drinks! My husband ordered the Spanish Latte and I got the Abuelita Latte. The drinks do run on the sweeter side, so I'd recommend ordering them half sweet if you prefer less sweetness. I personally really enjoyed my Abuelita Latte! My husband was a little on the fence about his Spanish Latte, but we also have pretty high standards when it comes to those kinds of drinks, so I usually avoid ordering one on my first visit to a new coffee shop. Ehhh this place is pretty ghetto looking, the parking setup is ridiculous. You cannot park because the drive through line is literally blocking all parking spots. Their photos are false advertisement, you do not get cold foam on your drinks unless you ask them to add it. drinks are ok, nothing out of the norm. The WiFi is only good for one hour. staff is nice and music is a good vibe. They need to work on their ads, tell people foam is not included, maybe fix up the inside area so it doesn't feel like an old diner, the parking situation is out of control. read more

I had went to the place at 6:20am on Wednesday June 3rd & it does say they open @6am & right when I pulled up no one was there so I was about to leave but then all of a sudden two girls walk in start to barley open up the place, I gave them the benefit of the doubt & waited at the window but ended up waiting overall for another 25mins & not once did they acknowledge the fact we were at the window. I understand everybody has late days but if a company is scheduled for a certain time there should be some type of communication or at least if you see someone waiting at the window to acknowledge them letting them know they will be with them shortly but we didn't get any of that. Coffee is amazing , I'm so glad we have one more local to us . We used to drive to La Puente for their coffee which is a 35 minute drive . The five stars are solely based on their coffee drinks . Their iced horchata lattee is our favorite , their Spanish latte is also good but definitely on the sweeter side , my husband tried the caramel macchiato and he liked it, location is cute and clean. We did try a few of their food items which were a 0 out of 5 and I hate rating them that. We had the ham and Swiss croissant as well as the jalapeño croissant. These are pre packaged and just heated which makes sense as to why they tasted the way they did . A little rubbery and no flavor . Freshly made is always the best but I can also do pre packaged but these just were not it . Service is good so far . Parking is tough and the drive thru line does go out into the street. So I have to agree with a review about false advertisement my husband and I went and he ordered the abuelita latte and in the picture it comes with stuff on top but when we ordered and given to us plain. They said all that extra is add on and I feel like they it should come on it if putting in the picture. I got the strawberry matcha which came with the cold foam on top like the picture.
