I think it's about time. I've tried maybe 10-12 different drinks from their meny and they are all amazing. They give generous portion of boba and toppings. More often than not you finish the drink and there are still like 5 pearls at the bottom. My favorite drink they make is their tiger sugar milk tea. The balance of the brown sugar sweetness, temperature and density with chewiness of the boba and slight bitterness of the tea make it by far one of the best drinks overall that ive ever had. Bee & Tea, yes please! I'm so excited that this place has opened in my home town! I was able to stop by while out running errands with my hubby and baby. The store is newly remodeled and already poppin'! Word is spreading fast that they've opened up. I was in the mood for a Thai tea so I ordered the Thailandia (unfortunately they were out of boba) in the signature lightbulb tumbler. My hubby got the tropical smoothie. And together we sampled a trio of their steamed buns. Since they were out of boba the worker was kind enough to offer a discount on my order which was super thoughtful and appreciated! I just came in to grab a Boba, I was originally going to Starbucks but then I seen Bee & Tea & decided to give it a shot in's stead. The menu is extensive and I ordered La Piña Colada at 25% sweetness and my fiancé ordered the Bee Mocha. We both got the signature honey boba. My drink just did not meet my expectations. I thought it would be a creamy pineapple/coconut-forward drink, but all I tasted was green tea. My fiancé was also disappointed saying that it tasted like a watery chocolate Ovaltine. We did both like the boba consistency, but it also lacked flavor. We came during the afternoon and the place was busy and the service was slow considering four people were working on the shift. This will FOREVER be my favorite spot! I started coming here since the first day the opened, the owner a lady was the sweetest from the get go. Always so informative and friendly. They have a wide variety of drinks from dairy free to smoothies. My go to is always a large strawberry rose or peach rose tea with popping bobas. My boys always get the honeydew or taro smoothies with tons of boba. I love their reward system as I always buy 5 drinks when I go and usually by the 3rd time I get a free drink which is very much appreciated with a large family like mine. My kids love this place so much it's the first place they ask for when we're out and about. Their store is ALWAYS clean and the decor is bright and cute. I ordered the Green Thailandia, along with the Chocolate Hulk smoothie which had protein. The Green Thailandia was good, nothing too special. The Chocolate Hulk on the other hand was rancid. Either the milk or the peanut butter they used was expired. Every time I took a sip to try it again, it tasted very sour. I've had protein boba before, and this one was by far the worst. Fun, fresh, unique and friendly boba tea shop! Angela went above and beyond for our first visit. We had numerous questions, but she was patient with us and very helpful. After combing through the menu, I decided upon a 5 Spice Chai Milk Tea and the hubby decided upon a Caramel Macchiato (without the coffee flavoring). Our drinks were in our hands in less than a few minutes. The Chai was a little light in flavor for my preference (I love my chai to nearly burn my tongue with spice), but still very good. The boba was perfectly squishy firm and lightly sweet. Hubby said his drink was very good. Without the coffee flavor, it came out tasting like a yummy caramel black milk tea. A few other things to note: their milk teas can be made as a hot drink, bathroom access is by code only, they have a SquareUp loyalty program, and there's an option to upgrade to a reusable cup (for a small fee) and you'll recieve 10% off your drink each time you bring it back to reuse. I hope this Boba House is successful. They're in a great location, sandwiched between GameStop and Waba Grill. They share the plaza with Starbucks and Paradise Buffet so I imagine it should get decent foot traffic. The shop is relatively new. Less than a year ago, we lived nearby, and this spot was not here. This area needs a decent boba shop that isn't relegated to the Montclair Plaza. The decor is nice and airy. It's clean. And smells great. There are locked bathrooms which I appreciate that are for customers only. There was a longer wait due to having to make their boba fresh. The menu is ok. There are some good combinations and interesting mixes. Since it was our first time, we got a Thailandia (Thai Milk Tea) and Queen Bee (Honey Milk tea). My husband loved the combination and mixes of the tea. My honey milk tea was just ok. The honey is raw and organic. They are generous with the boba as well and it was freshly made. There are food options as well. The food is not peanut free. So be aware if you have a peanut allergy. For the price it is a bit steep. My normal boba house give 32oz of deliciousness for $5. This gives roughly 24oz of tea for $5 (and the ice is very big). There is also a collectors edition boba cup (shaped like a light bulb) for approximately 6.50$. It is fully reusable and if you bring it back, you receive a 10% discount on each refill. I would come back to try something different. read more

I originally pulled into the parking lot after seeing a new coffee shop opened up (Lucky's Coffee.) Upon arriving I noticed there's also a boba place and after some internal debate and checking Yelp for reviews, I decided on boba. Walking in I was greeted by some nice people, and a very strong coconut scent. I ordered the "Purist" black (milk) tea and unfortunately I have to admit I am not impressed.
