    Peach blossom tea. Pretty.

Such a cozy spot in Claremont! I tried the Peach Blossom tea and highly recommend it. Watching the tea bloom in the cup is a beautiful experience, and it tastes just as good as it looks. Will definitely be back.

Hidden gem! Never knew this place existed since it's tucked away! Plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. A huge range of teas that help with different things! Over 100 teas to pick from!! The woman in the front was super sweet! Will definitely be coming back!

The tea selection is expansive. Had an ice tea and enjoyed it much. The portion was substancial.

Note that the shop is on the backside of a building! I could not find it off the street it's in the back parking lot. I really like this place, it's my first time there since moving to town. I don't agree with the other comments the shop owner is very nice and talkative. I was able to ask him various questions about the teas and have a conversation with him about bikes and he was neither rude nor cold. He informed me of upcoming events at the shop which was nice. Overall very pleasant experience and the number 85 in iced serving was delicious! I will definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area!

Cool, homey lil loose leaf tea spot hidden in Claremont for smokers and jokers alike. The tea selection is on point, they have something for every occasion. They have a couple employees that seem to all be from the same family--the older gentleman is definitely not gentle lol. So if you're sensitive to that, may not be the place for you, but I usually just give him some shit back and earn that respect back. They have Wi-Fi and patio, what more could you ask for?

The feel of this place is very homey and comfortable; there's plenty of seating inside and even when you walk outside with your tea there's even MORE SEATING, it's like the place is inviting you to stay and pleading with you haha Authentic tea !!! Fun surprise in each cup :) Great for a friend date!

I thought this tea place was interesting and cool. They have blooming teas which mean that a flower bloomed in your tea after it was hot enough. They have a wide variety of teas but a select few for the blooming ones. I tried the peach blossom with honey. I thought the tea flavor was average. It didn't wow me but I was very interested in the blooming flower.

Giving this place one star. Let me start out by saying that my friend and I's experience started out rather well. We were smelling the teas in the jars that they have once you enter and finally decided on our teas. We got them Iced and added honey. The girl working the counter was patient and not rude at all. Smiled and told us our cold teas were going to be ready in five minutes. That's pretty quick! So my friend and I decided to look around and caught a cute corner table at the entrance. We sat down and started chatting it up with the intention of going in to grab our teas. A minute or two must have passed when an Asian guy wearing an apron passed by and asked us VERY rudely "DID YOU BUY SOMETHING?" & my friend said "yes. Two teas." And he continued to look at us as if we were doing something wrong. My friend proceeded to get up while saying "they must be ready now" and went to grab them. He proceeded to walk around the patio and visited another group that was sitting at the far end of the patio. When my friend came back he stated "we're they ready?" And she said "yes. You could have gotten them for us if you were so concerned if we bought something." At this point my friend was heated. He had approached us very rudely and with extreme attitude. Didn't apologize. When he proceeded to explain that he had just clocked in(still with attitude)... my friend then said "I'm not talking to you anymore. Thank you" and then he went to tell the cashier and we got kicked out. Teas were okay. Not bad. But if you're going to approach someone on the open patio outside your restaurant... maybe find out first if they bought something and not come up to customers rudely and with attitude. Will not be coming here again.

I got #6 the dragon blooming tea :)

I wanted to try somewhere new that's close to the mall and found this place with great reviews…read more It's in a plaza and the inside look really nice and clean. Me and my family decided to try the Thai Tea Crème with boba, Artisan Milk Tea, and Peach Strawberry Fruit Tea. The Thai Tea Crème was delicious and creamy. The boba was soft and chewy. The Peach Strawberry Fruit Tea was refreshing and wasn't super sweet compared to other places I had try. It was perfect. The Artisan Milk Tea was yummy. I definitely would order all these drinks again and would like to try something new too. Even my family loved it! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Superficial observation: Without seeing a sign that says it's a boba place, when you look in it…read moredoesn't appear like it'd be a place that sells food or beverages. I'm not against minimalism, but IMHO the interior could use a few touches that draw you in from the sidewalk and indicate that there's boba tea and donuts. More seriously: I really dislike giving unflattering reviews for small businesses. In this case, I hope the business sees this and maybe makes improvements. But there were a few issues of cleanliness that had me nervous. And the coffee I ordered took almost 15 mins to come out and had a really unfortunately soapy aftertaste. Cleanliness: Minimalism can be look very chic, but if your chosen aesthetic is white and gold/chrome, you've got to keep it clean. This cafe needs a good deep clean. I was grossed out to see oil and dirt smudges on the backs and seats of the white leather chairs, like no one has wiped them down on a regular basis. The panel molding on the walls looks sleek and clean from far away, but once I sat down I could see a lot of dust. The counter where you pick up your order had a lot of dirt and remnants of spilled beverages at the base. The decor adjacent to the serving area was also really dusty. The chrome garbage bin could contribute to a modern, clean look but it looks grungy and sticky. It's the lack of attention to detail in cleanliness in the front of house that made me worry about what the prep areas might also look like. Beverages: I got an Americano and a mango fruit tea with lychee. The fruit tea was delicious and the lid and straw situation is actually unique and cute. That's where we're getting the two stars from. The Americano coffee on the other hand was really disappointing. For over five dollars, I was hoping for a good quality cup of joe. Despite it not being busy, it took nearly 15 mins before I was handed a coffee in a Christmas cup (it's April so maybe that should've been my sign that they've got Christmas cups bc no one likes the coffee?) that initially tasted ok, but then finished with a really soapy aftertaste. I had 3 different people taste it--everyone agreed it had a dish soap-like aftertaste that spoiled the coffee. Normally, I might ask for a do-over since it was pretty gross. But I didn't have another 10-15 mins to risk getting another soapy coffee. I seriously feel bad calling this place out. I wanted to like it! But at the very least I hope it inspires a deep clean and more care making sure they thoroughly rinse out coffee brewing equipment after washing it. Even if I'd only gotten the yummy mango fruit tea, the cleanliness issues still would've had me distressed. So two stars for now. Sorry!

It's not awful, but it tastes frugal. I arrived at Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) on Sunday (around 12:20PM). Parking is easy. The lot is very big. My immediate impression of the location's interior is "abandoned warehouse." There's cardboard boxes lying about; the lights are dim & gloomy; and the furniture & walls looked old and poorly maintained. There were no customers, other than myself. Staff zipped out from the back when I'd entered. There's no self-service kiosks, so customers order at the counter. Staff is friendly and welcoming. After receiving my drink, Staff vanished into the back for the entire time. The drink took one minute and six seconds. Fast!! As mentioned, the Brown Sugar Milk Tea ($5.50) with Boba (additional 79 cents) is not awful. It's big, cheap, and thirst-quenching. Although the boba lacked any perkiness, I did appreciate its very small sweetness. Concerning the ambiance, it felt sad. Chairs had mysterious black stains, dust & webs gripped the windows' corners, yellow & aged plants lazed about, and lights stayed dimly lit like a haunted house. However, there's utility. Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) has six electrical outlets. There's also customer internet with password; details on the plastic countertop. And there's a restroom for customers. In addition, the floors and tables are fairly clean. Overall, Almond Haus Cafe (Claremont) feels like a forgotten relic of time. At the very minimum, it's an adequate establishment. If you're searching for affordability and a place to study/work, there's potential. 3.3 out of 5

This was one of the most organized events I've been to. To start, the manager arrived around 8:30am to hand out tickets and ensure that there were no line cutters - even though the store didn't open until 12pm. That's super early considering most events don't hand out tickets until 1 hour or less before the start time. Around 11am, the manager came around and gave us drinks if we won a game. Options were tic tac toe, guess the Sunright drink, or boba trivia. I played and got the white peach oolong milk tea in a can, which was really generous. Shortly after, staff came around to take our orders outside the store so that they could begin prepping and shorten the wait time once we went in to pay. I ordered the special anniversary Upland lemon creamsicle drink and got the fragrant oolong milk tea with sunny jelly as my free drink for being the first 150. I also got to spin the wheel for purchasing the lemon creamsicle and got a white mug. The store is big with ample seating to enjoy your drinks and hang out. Nothing would matter if the drinks aren't good, but Sunright delivers consistent quality, and the lemon creamsicle drink was icy and refreshing on a hot day. It really did taste like a creamsicle. The drinks are always generous and filled to the top (even when you say less ice!) When I ask for less sweet, it's just what hits the spot. If you like smoothies, highly recommend the strawberry frostie (they use real strawberries and it is amazing). I also like the mango frostie - it tastes like a dessert and it includes jelly that is jasmine tea flavored! My previous favorite was the panda milk tea as they have 2 different types of boba and is so creamy and delicious. I like to try their new drinks and then end up with new favorites at the time depending on my mood. My brother in law loves the oreo milk tea with boba. The coffee oolong is also essential if you are a fan of coffee. Their mochi waffles are also very addicting but best eaten fresh and right away while they are warm!
