First, my stylist (who was awesome overall) arrived almost half an hour late. I understand that her Uber broke down, but no one called to communicate this to me on the morning of the wedding, and I was FREAKING OUT and had to run around trying to track down someone from Sonia's salon, which I was finally able to do, but it was super stressful. Hair and makeup ultimately came out great, but initially when I looked at my hair in the mirror I was not at all pleased, as it looked NOTHING like the photos I had given my stylist for reference. As she had run late, I didn't say anything because there wasn't time to fix it. It's also true that I didn't do a trial, which could have helped, but for the huge amount of money I was already paying and the fact that my ceremony was a small Chicago elopement, it didn't seem worth the price ($195 PER SERVICE, so over $400 with tip). Also, throughout the time my stylist was working on me, I kept asking if we'd be done on schedule and she kept assuring that we would be, but she ended up running about half an hour over, so everything about my wedding was delayed by 30 minutes as a result, including the ceremony itself. Everything turned out well as I was pleased with the look once I put my dress on, but overall I was not happy with the way everything went down. She would just say don't worry it will be okay after the swelling goes down. I waited 30 days and my left brow was still messed up. I had to pay the full price to correct her work. Then what really made me write this review is she texted me for the follow up appointment I told to cancel and she didn't even ask me why she knew the reason was because she had messed up my eyebrows. It was so bad that I would have never let her touch me again anyway. Luckily for me the other artist was able to make them look more even. If you don't want uneven brows please don't go there you can't trust all the good reviews all the time when it comes to something that important like your face.

She is professional and takes her business seriously. She will take the time to answer all of your questions. Also, I discovered she is a licensed esthetician. All of my previous comments stand except for my lashes review. I had my lashes insulted by Jaylah who specializing in natural lashes. So if you want volume I highly recommend you book with the other tech. I wasnt able to determine any specific information for the booking site so it is best to call before you book your appointment. During my appointment Jaylah was kind and gently when applying my lashes. The glue she uses burns so please do not open your opens before it dries. After having my lashes for a little less than a week I noticed sections missing. I immediately setup a touch up appointment. I assumed the issue could be me sleeping or cosmetics so I was willing to pay for my touch up. When I made my appointment China realized that I was just in the salon and called to discuss the service. I explain she booked a touch up with Jaylah immediate. Unfortunately, on the day of the appointment Jaylah cancelled my appointment due to a personal issue. I was able to meet with China who saw my lashes and the state they were in. Since I was in desperate need of a touch up I went to Eyelash R Us nearby. Thankfully they were able to get me in on such short notice and my lash tech does not use glue that burns! It safe to say I have a new eyelash salon.
