I had a difficult experience with Beech Monroe Auto Service but they have since worked to resolve the Situation. On October 14,2025, I brought my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in for a temperature gauge issue. The Shop initially told me i needed a thermostat, water pump, and radiator flush for 2,500. They processed the payment through American First Finance but mistakenly charged $3,000. After several follow-ups and some complications- Including a bounced refund check - they eventually issued the correct refund via Zella. When the repairs initially caused some ongoing issues with my heat and check engine light, Beech Monroe Automotive worked with me to provide a refund of 779.99 to resolve the matter. I appreciate their effort to make things right, although the process was stressful and required time and follow-up on my part . I'm sharing this to caution others to double-check invoices, financing, and get everything in writing. Even when issues arise, it's possible for the shop to take steps toward resolution. read more

Absolute crooks and sheisters. Quoted my daughter $50 for a front end alignment, ended up being triple the price. When I looked at the description of work it was for what would be included in an alignment. $50 to heat up a strut mount bolts they claimed were seized. However I just had those out to free up the spindle to replace the knuckles on each end and lower control arms. Then they adjsuted the camber bolts to tilt the tires inward and told my duaghter it would be another $50 to adjust them back or to pay the $100 and drive home with the alignment way off. This shop does not have a good reputation in the nighborhood but I was in a pinch and just needed the alignment after doing the front end work. They also tried to tell her all kinds of other major repairs needed to be done. It was my fault for sending her there and not telling her to get out of there if they start trying to upcharge her. Swindlers and crooks. Go somewhere else, there are plenty of other trusted mechanics in the area. I fell prey to the concience of the location. Never again. read more

Using parts from a junkyard to repair a vehicle hardly classifies as honorable. I don't know how you can fix it but it needs to be rectified immediately. What was formerly Beech Monroe Service Center has changed ownership and is now operating as Goodyear Auto Service Center. Ownership information is a matter of public record. While I cannot go into specifics due to an ongoing investigation with the Michigan Attorney General's Office, I can confirm that multiple consumer complaints have been filed. These are accessible to the public through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. I sincerely wish I had known what I know now. hello, my Experience started november 2024 when i was weatherizin my vechcle going into 2025. and found out the raditor fluid and oil mixed. thought it was a head gasket. i was referred to go to BEECH MONROE, took my vechcle to beech monroe March 12th 2025, got it back August 18th 2025 ( 5 months to replace engine ??? ) explained to them the issues of my vechcle. they qouted me $1800 for headgasket repair. further inspection of engine, and the tech said your engine has HEAT STRESS on the block, ( after break down found that the manifold has a crack, ( pics to prove everything ) so they recomended me a reman. engine ( rebuilt no miles on engine ) so goin from $1800 head gasket, and it wasnt that, it was a cracked manilfold, and heat stress on engine, to $8000 for a reman. ( rebuilt ) engine, to where i should NOT HAVE ONE ISSUE with anything. you would think after puttin in a new engine it would run without ANY worry. Nope, after REMAN ENGINE was installed in my vechcle it now has,..... 1) oil pressure issues ( 60psi after driving for 20 mins, oil pressure drops to 30psi ) 2) starter not enaging flyweel so i have to turn key on/off several times for the starter to even start the car / now ive dealt wit this for a month, and broke the ignition tumbler ( which has anti theft chip ) so now i cant start the vechcle. 3) vechcle reaches 220 degree then check engine light comes on ( but why when its a NEW ENGINE?? ) 4) no heat/ no ac workin, ( before the manifold cracked, vechcle had heat and cold ac. 5) trans lines that goes to radiator, cross threaded and leaks ( was told if it gets more worst bring it back and we'll fix. so i call the owner of BEECH MONROE DEARBORN ( NADER ) on november 14th 2025 and told him what happen, and that i needed a tow truck, at first he said ok i got you, let me get him over their now for ya, i said i dont have no money for tow, i get paid monday. then said the tow guy was backed up. and he'll come out monday to tow vechcle ( hince he wanted to charge me for the tow, you serious, your shop caused my stress levels to rise ) so i towed my vechcle up to his shop for FREE thx AAA. took pic of vechcle that it was at his shop, and sent him the pic of my vechcle at the shop for REWORK to his personal phone. called monday morning ( 11/17/25 ) tech guy said we got the vechcle, were writing up the invoice so the mechanic can see whats wrong. and then added that they were busy today so they'll pull my vehicle in on wednesday, i thought that was weird, so i went up to BEECH MONROE and found out, they had 2 vehicles in the bays of the shop, my vehicle only car in the lot for service, now i was able to talk to the mechnic we both went over my vehicle, seen the invoice of the issues so it was wrote up. and stated to the mechnic im not payin for the REWORK that should have been done before i picked up my vehicle. so its at the shop now, lets see what BEECH MONROE will do for me this time around ( hopefully not another 5 months ) UPDATE: 11/17/2025-12/17/2025 took car back up to shop on nov 17th 2025 for rework ( starter, radiator trans line, ignition switch ) they put in new starter, done fixed the trans line going to radiator, done and installed the ignition switch, done HOWEVER,.......... now the issue is my TILT steering column is loose, i can rotate my whole steering wheel column, and BEECH MONROE done this cause they changed my ignition switch, and either they forgot to tighten something, or they BROKE something. ( a brand new steering column $1300 new ) i called them back, and was put on HOLD for 20 mins, i called them back, put me back on hold did this to me 3 times so,.... i called the owner ( nader ) stressed to him, and asked why my tilt steerin column was loose like this, nader stated let me find out whats going on, and ill call you back, still waitin on call,............ Signed: Mr $8000 for a car i cant drive.......STILL !! ** i also filed a formal complaint with the Michigan Attorney General due to how these repairs were handled, I am also a certified mechanic, just didnt have time to do myself, due to my work schedule. read more

My husband bought in our car for brakes. Front and back, pads, rotors,etc. He bought our brakes from RockAuto. They agreed to the labor. They put them on the front, but their mechanic claimed the back rotors don't fit. They wanted to charge $150 for 2 rotors. My husband went to OReillys and bought them for $95 bucks. The rotors from RockAuto were $27 a piece, so about $54. I think they tried to scam my husband, to add stuff that we already had bought for the purpose. We wont go again even though they are close. With Beech Monroe Goodyear new to the neighborhood I was cautious to bring my wife's Toyota Corolla there for a noise in the suspension. My son ( who is a mechanic as well ) had taken his Saturn there a few weeks earlier for a few maintenance issues and was very happy with their work. So we ended up taking her car in for the noise. They knew exactly what was wrong and even worked well past closing time to complete the car and get it back to us! And get this, they even called me a couple weeks later to make sure everything was good and if we were happy. Not many places take the time to really care about their customers! Craig is the man to see. He has done work on my 14 year old Ford Escape in the past, and recently I needed some work again. I cannot afford, nor do I want a new car payment. Brake job and sensor replacement as my engine light was on. When the job was done I got a phone call later that same day at 4:30pm. He said, It's done and I took it for a ride, and you need a new tie rod. I wasn't surprised, the suspension is shot on that thing, He told me the price for parts and labor for that, and between ALL the work with the brakes and sensor, still had me done in one day, at an EXCELLENT price. Craig, owner of the establishment, was honest about what actually needed to be done to my car and gave a very good estimate. Unlike other mechanics I have been to, Craig was honest and did not try to overcharge me. Not only was his personality exceptionally nice, but the service was amazing as well.
