    Grilled cheese with kimchi
    Amanda V.

Layovers at SeaTac are always either way too short or painfully too long--there is no in‑between. But when you've got hours to kill, Beecher's is exactly where you should be. Let's talk about the grilled cheese. Yes, it's already legendary. But add kimchi and suddenly your entire airport food worldview shifts. I didn't know I needed this upgrade until I had it, and now there's no going back. The cheese is perfectly melty, the bread hits that golden, buttery crunch, and the kimchi adds just the right tangy, savory kick. Comfort food with a personality. Beecher's somehow manages to feel cozy and indulgent in the middle of airport chaos, which is no small feat. Next time you find yourself wandering SeaTac with time on your hands, skip the sad grab‑and‑go options and seek this place out. Your layover--and your taste buds--will thank you.

Open at 5AM I almost always go to Beechers when I'm at N gate. My favorite is the mariachi mac n cheese (spicy veggie) which I've never seen at their flagship Pike Place location. I didn't know they had a separate breakfast menu, but this time I got the chicken sausage breakfast sandwich and tomato soup. Highly recommend getting the soup (without crouton and cheese) to nicely cut through the richness of the sandwich.

Cheesy, buttery goodness! Got the breakfast sandwich before my flight out of town, luckily Beecher was in the Terminal I was flying out of. The egg is light and fluffy, the cheese is balanced well with the egg and chicken sausage. The bread is nice and crispy. I also wanted to try their tomato soap and Mac n cheese, but the sandwich alone was already very filling. It does take a bit to get your order, maybe 10-15 minute wait? But I do think the wait is worth it.

I was craving a warm, hearty meal before my flight at 8 AM. Out of the limited food options in the N terminal, enter Beechers. The Tuna Melt ($15+) was grilled to crispy perfection, and wonderfully salty with crispy cheesy edges oozing out on the sides. The tomato soup (idk, like $6?) was also a decadent, salty, wonder. Did having this meal for breakfast fill me up to the brim and leave me dying of thirst on my flight with a slightly burned mouth? probably. Do I regret it? probably maybe not. The staff are kind, hard working, and very efficient. You can sit on the seats in the collective food court area, with gorgeous views out to the flight deck and trees.

Food: 5/5 Beecher's is well-known for their assortment of cheeses, it's expected they'd have delicious Mac'n'cheese! I'll be honest, I was adamant the airport version wouldn't live up to the hype (like all airport foods), but it didn't disappoint! Cheesy and delicious. If you're not a cheese person, their tomato soup is just as good! It's a staple when you're experiencing gloomy weather in Seattle lol Service: 5/5 Quick and nice. The lines do get long but the workers keep it moving so you're not waiting for too long. Overall: 5/5 Minus the airport prices you pay, the food is good as always.

    world's best mac & cheese = $9.89 for 8oz

I was excited that Beechers was located in my terminal. We shared two sandwiches: -Flagship ($11.99): Flagship, Just Jack, tomatoes, fresh basil, Beecher's spread -Smoke Turkey ($13.79): turkey, Flagship, Jack Jack, tomatoes, Beecher's spread The sandwiches are virtually the same same except one has turkey. I bit into one and then I bit into the other. For being a cheese store/concept etc., the cheese was not cheesing for me. I personally felt like the sandwiches tasted very muted, though this may be the real draw. For my cheese loving palette, this was not for me. I also tried an 8oz of "World's Best" Mac & cheese ($9.89) and again, not for me. Despite finding the flavors a little lacking, I did like the sandwiches were quite affordable by airport standards. I also like how portable they are so you could definitely pack one onto the airplane with you. I love that Beechers exists at the airport just in case you missed it in real time. I wouldn't have sought it out otherwise.

Great food but they're in terminal N, which means you have to take the airport train green line (you cannot walk here from any other terminal). I thought the mac and cheese was just as good as their pike place location, but at $16 for 16oz, it feels steep when you can also pick up their cheese at Costcos in the Seattle area and the recipe for the Mac and cheese is available online. They also sell their cheese here! If you're worried (like I was) the Mac and cheese is available even at 9am!!

Had a couple of hours to spare in Sea-Tac Airport while waiting for my flight out of the N Gates. There's a food hall in the center of the concourse with several restaurants to choose from. Wasn't in desperate need of coffee as we're already into the afternoon, wasn't craving Vietnamese food, I do love hamburgers and fries, can't have alcohol at the moment, but what drew me to Beecher's was Cheese! Was able to order breakfast so I requested for a chicken sausage sandwich. It took about 5 minutes to prepare. Yet I noticed all the customers after me were picking up their orders before I got mine. So I finally inquired with the cashier. He asked if my name is Oliver. It was ready all this time! I thought a visible name tag and airport badge was sufficient but that's okay. Starbucks got everyone's names mixed up pre-mobile app days when you'd order from the baristas ;-) Once I got my sandwich and took my first bite of it, oh my gosh it was fantastic! I couldn't believe how much cheese and the taste of it was amazing! They have another location in NYC and that would be great to try them out as I frequent Manhattan on business. There is also a Kim Chee sandwich on the menu I was eyeing out and hopefully next time around I'll grab that to go. Note to self, order a soda as sandwich and soda goes hand in hand. Not a bottle of water.

Mac and cheese, tomato soup and caprese sandwich.

Had a delayed flight in Seattle airport so ended up eating here and had Mac and cheese, tomato soup and caprese sandwich. The Mac and cheese was excellent though I'm not sure if it is the "Worlds Best Mac and Cheese" But given there were no seafood or meats added in, it was already full of flavor. The tomato soup was another 5 star dish. Thick, tasty and satisfying, I enjoyed it too. The only one that I thought was average was the caprese sandwich. I think I should have ordered one of the grilled sandwiches instead. Maybe next time I'm stranded at the airport again.

My 1st time to Pike's Place. We read a review of this place and decided to come her for lunch. We ordered the pretzel, the tomato soup, a grilled cheese sandwich and a small macaroni and cheese. Everything was really good. The grilled cheese and the tomato soup were our favorites. They hear the pretzel before they serve it. There were a lot of people in the shop, but the line moved quickly. Everything was good. 10/10 highly recommended for any cheese lovers

Beechers. They made a name for themselves in NYC with a sizeable store location in Flatiron. Now it seems they've moved their main operation to Pike's Place in Seattle, since at the time of writing this review their Flatiron location is permanently closed (RIP!), which I'm sad to find out, since I frequented this spot fairly often some years ago. They used to have amazing grilled cheese sandwiches, a terrific happy hour and I was fascinated by the cheese made directly in their shop! Behind a glass-panel enclosed section of the store, you could watch the cheese curds being formed by huge machinery mixing milk and an acid agent or cultures into curds, then kneading it into balls of cheese, to be served immediately or packaged. I remember just staring at it thinking how cool it was to be seeing cheese being made--you couldn't get fresher than that! Seems their only NY metro locations are at LGA and EWR airports now. Anyways getting back to their SEA airport location...this is located in Concourse N, which I was walking around in search of a quick meal before getting on my flight. Their prepared foods looked pretty decent and so I went with the grilled chicken spinach orzo salad, and the roasted sweet potato, corn and red onion salad. Total for both was $23 including tax, and while not cheap per se, was a better quality for the price than prepared foods at some other airports. I enjoyed them! Tbh I was pleasantly surprised by the amount food, I started with the chicken spinach salad and was mostly full from this, probably because they included a lot of chicken (like maybe ten chunks), the amount of olives was too much, they were very salty, so I had to pick some out. I took the sweet potatoes box to go and ate it for lunch the next day; it was tasty and a filling meal by itself. Another popular item I saw being ordered was their grilled cheese sandwich with tomato bisque, which is made to order. There was a steady stream of customers on a Monday afternoon though the line to order never surpassed a few people at a time. Open seating is available in the food court area shared with other fast casual restaurants.

Small Mac and cheese for over $10

I used to travel through SEA-TAC often and would make a special detour to C gates, to pick up a few orders of their Mariachi Mac and cheese. I was leaving on a flight out of C gates and found Beecher's moved to the N gates. Since I had time to kill, I made my way to that terminal. Upon arrival, I noticed that they no longer have mariachi Mac and cheese listed on the menu. The employee confirmed that it had been removed, so I purchased a small container of the regular one. I'm currently sitting at my gate in the C terminal, eating my Mac and cheese. It just doesn't hit the spot for me. The texture of the sauce is a bit gritty, and overall it's just way too rich for my liking. I hope they bring back the mariachi style, but it's a pass for me until then.

    Tuna melt
    Irina N.

Honestly 2 stars is generous. I ordered the tuna melt at it wasn't good at all. The bread was very crunchy on the outside and the sandwich wasn't warm on the inside. It didn't taste good either, more of a mixed vegetable taste than a tuna taste. I just finished it because I was hungry and had a long way back home. The cashier Nariyah wasn't nice either. She seemed like she was in a bad mood. I didn't have a good experience here.

Got the flagship and it was delicious. Even if it wasn't airport food, that's a good grilled cheese.

Street Cheese reminds me of Cowbell Cheese in Portland in offering high quality cheeses in an untypical location. The shop also has some prestige was recently named as one of the world's best cheesemongers. The shop itself is modest in size with a curated selection of cheeses and gourmet foods like charcuterie and specialty chocolate. I love that they have a website that lists what they have in stock and in which you can order ahead. Though I use it more for reference to see if a certain cheese is available. If you are new to specialty cheeses and looking for an approachable cheese shop to visit and learn more about them, I would recommend Street Cheese.

The shop is located close to a wine store. Talk about perfect pairings. (There's also a fun little store in between the two to poke around.) Courtney and Tailor, the owners, are charming, enthusiastic, and deeply knowledgeable. Thé instructions and information regarding the course was thorough and provided great detail. Just as detailed is their weekly newsletter. Back to the cheese. Courtney was an engaging cheese Sherpa, and guided the class through the various types of cheese, how to pair, cut,, and store them, and then walked us through how to build a cheese plate. We were also given some cheese and little things to nibble on during the class, along with some water. We were provided with three different types, a few accompaniments, and were let loose to start creating. Extremely generous portions with nice containers were thoughtfully provided to take home (or next door to the wine shop). Truly a really fun and informative experience. The variety and sourcing of the cheeses is fantastic, imported from Europe and all over the US. They offer a wide variety of accompaniments, including beverages and cheese paper for storage. And of course, you can try a nibble before purchase. Pricing is extremely fair for the cheese and other store items. Less than I was anticipating, to be honest. I'm thrilled to find European cheeses and support à small business. I will happily return. Go. You won't be disappointed.
