I really appreciated that because most servers don't ask. I decided to order the fried chicken sandwich. There are so many choices for sauce. I felt like a kid in a candy store. Quinn made the recommendation of ordering the sandwich with the sauces on the side. I ordered the hot honey and spicy bbq sauce. The spicy bbq sauce was by far my favorite. Hot honey was good but next to the spicy bbq sauce it was lacking. Spicy bbq was the one recommended by Quinn. The chicken itself was super crispy and flavorful. Paired with the Hawaiian bun was perfect because it was soft and lightly sweet. Perfect sandwich. It came with waffle fries, not really my thing. They are frozen and fried. I wish they allowed for substitutions like coleslaw or salad. I had to order the corn ribs because come on... it just sounds so cool. The sauce on the corn was definitely addictive. The corn itself tasted like frozen corn but the sauce made up for it. I tried it and it was fun but it is definitely a one timer. Pricing is pretty decent. Not super expensive but not cheap either. With the 2 items no drinks it came out to $38. Quinn definitely made me want to go back to try some more items like the mac and cheese and salmon chowder. read more

While waiting to board our flight home, we stopped into Nanny's BBQ to grab a bite to eat. A nice full bar and counter seating. They also have regular seating with full table service. Our server, Evelyn, recommended the tri tip dip over the pork ribs. She was friendly, attentive, and courteous. Tri Tip Dip: Toasted sourdough, shredded tri tip beef, provolone cheese, onions, horseradish mayo. Served with au jus for dipping (3.75/5). The bread was cripsy on the edges. The sandwich was meaty and the horseradish mayo gave it a slight kick. The au jus was good. I know the menu said shredded but would have preferred sliced. Otherwise still a good sandwich. Overall, not a good experience for my family of three. There is an iPad in front of the host desk for you to add your name to the waitlist. We added our name and at the time when we put our name in, it said the wait would be 5-15 minutes and that we would get a text at the phone number we provided when they were ready to seat us. Finally, when we had waited 30 minutes, I approached the host stand and found the host was seating people who had just walked up to the desk without putting their name in. When he got back to the host desk, I asked why he had seated them when we had been waiting 30 minutes. He apologized and sat us right away. Once seated, it took 7 minutes for our server to come greet us. At that point we ordered our drinks and meals. Drink order came out incorrectly. Food order came out incorrectly TWO TIMES. The check was inaccurate. The food was fine, but not for the price we paid. I got the macaroni and cheese with pulled pork on it... it was in a small bowl and cost $20. See picture. The food was just fine, not amazing but not bad either. For everything we dealt with and the price we paid, I'd recommend steering clear of this restaurant. Got completely scammed on ordering an alcoholic drink. Had to argue it with the waiter first, then the manager (who told me the waiter had told her everything which turn out to be lies and I called him out on it). Finally the manager made good on it. Basically, my double drink was switched to a single plus a shot...and served to me as a double. Then instead of serving me the basic booze in the drink, it and the shot were "upgraded" after I was shown the prices of what I was ordering. Some serious skills to turn a $17 drink into a $40. In the end, I got my $20 back. They didn't lose money. Just a customer and a tip. Which is sad as I love BBQ and frequent the Sea-Tac Airport. read more
