    2 piece Fish n Chips
    Andy G.

Hello everyone, it's Monday June 1st and Jen & I are headed to Canada then off to our Alaska Cruise, but had a lay over in Seattle Airport so like many others waiting for their next leg of the trip we had to get something to eat, many options to choose from, we decided to try Lucky Louie Fish Shack, we had the 2 piece Alaskan Pollock Fish n Chips with a side bowl of Clam Chowder, the fish & chips were very good and was cooked fresh so it was nice & hot the Clam Chowder was good as well as Jen will try Chowder when ever she can. On this review can't really say much about the Ambience as this place is in a airport, the general area was nice & clean and the cashier was nice & helpful with a few questions we had, seating wise you basically have the Whole airport to sit anywhere, all n all we enjoyed our late lunch here in Seattle.

We got the fish n chips (salmon) and it was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. The tartar sauce is necessary but has a stronger pickle taste. It came out fast and hot n fresh.

I got the fish and chips and ordered two piece and upgraded the fries to the chowder fries. The fish was okay but the fries were delicious! Ordering was pretty straight forward. They have a self ordering kiosk and text you when your order is ready.

Gluten free salmon fish and chips

I was so excited when I saw this place on the find me gluten free app (yes gf friends, you should be using that app and cross referencing with yelp). The menu doesn't say anything about GF so I approached the cashier who told me yes they do have gf fish and chips, but only the salmon. She also says they have a dedicated fryer? I told her to sign me up. The fish was fried beautifully. Loved the crispy breading and the tender fish inside. And the tartar sauce was really good! I docked a star because the fries were underwhelming. Like bargain fries from the freezer section. But worth it to get the fish!

Best airport breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time Bacon, perfectly fluffy scrambled eggs and good cheddar on a really perfect brioche bun. served with aïoli on the side. Fruit cup was good Good service. Cold water bottle. Smart water brand at the time of this review.

Yummy fish and chips! Hot and fresh and big enough to share.

This is one of the better food places at SEATAC, if you're in the mood for fish and chips. I was craving some yummy fish and wanted to eat something a little different before catching my flight back home, so we decided to share a fish basket from Lucky Louie. The line was long (which is a good sign), but the employees moved through it pretty fast (though not as quickly as you'd want at an airport, so be mindful if you are rushing to catch your flight - you may want to rethink ordering food here). My basket had two nice sized pieces of fish that had been breaded and fried in a nice panko coating. It was hot, crunchy, and not oily at all. My fish was flaky and tasted very fresh. The crinkle cut fries were nothing special (and right out of a freezer bag I'm sure), but they had just the right amount of crunch on the outside and soft, fluffy potato goodness on the inside. It's very difficult to find seating here, so we had to take our food and sit on a bench a little ways down in the airport. I really hate when airport restaurants don't have enough seating for patrons, so be aware. It's annoying to have to balance your food while juggling carry-on bags.

Flew in late and was happy Lucky Louie's was still open. I got the variety fish and chips and added fried clams. I liked how they wrapped the food and dipping sauces were paired well.

    Lucky Double Breakfast Sandwich
    Steve M.

Considering its airport food which is hit or miss, for breakfast I had the Lucky Double sandwich Apple wood smoked bacon, breakfast sausage, and egg smothered with cheese sauce served on a Macrina Bakery Bun. It was not cheap at $14.49, but what is in the airport?! I will say, it did taste good and the cheese sauce was like a béchamel. It was a good sized sandwich that will def fill me up till dinner as I am on a long flight. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon and sausage patty were a step above fast food. The Macrina bun stole the show, it was really really good, i could just eat that plain. Be warned, it is a bit messy too, if you get the sauce on the side, might be easier to manage cleanliness haha. Would I come back? Considering MCDs is charging 7-9 for a sandwich half the size, inside the airport price hike, I'd say it was worth it to get quality without a sit down.

4 pcs fish and chips, fish was tasteless

Fish and chips- the fish were tasteless with thick batter, the fries were good though. We paid for extra siracha sauce $1, but they didn't pack it together with the fish. We had the Alaska pollack. Soft serve swirl vanilla - nice dessert Overall

    Chowder bread bowl

Excellent chowder with real seafood; plus the bread and garlic butter were so light and fluffy! What an unexpected treat

Bacon, egg, and cheese gluten free breakfast sandwich, hash brown, garlic aioli and ketchup
    Hong P.

This is my go-to-spot for a gluten-free breakfast sandwich if I landed or take off from SeaTac airport. Usually the lines aren't long and the service is really quick. I generally get a gf breakfast sandwich and make it combo. It comes with a hash brown and coffee/water. I get water cause I don't drink coffee. It also comes with a couple condiments - ketchup and garlic aioli. Once I get my sandwich I generally find a spot to eat and enjoy it. The sandwich I got is applewood bacon, egg, and cheese. Everything was great and if you add in the aioli it makes it stand out even more. The hash brown is pretty good. Honestly I should order 1 or 2 more just because they are nice and crispy on the outside but tender on the inside.

As expected, airport food is always on the pricier side, and here it's about $10-14 for a breakfast bun, plus $4 for a coffee, totaling around $18 with tax. BUT--it's totally worth it. Most airport sandwiches cost about the same, but rarely deliver on quality. This place is different--it's freshly made in-house, and you can taste the difference. I ordered the crispy fish fillet sandwich, and while it took around 10 minutes to prepare (since it wasn't too busy), it was absolutely worth the wait. The bacon came out crispy but not dry, and the sandwich included a thick, fluffy egg layer--almost as thick as the fillet itself. The fish fillet was perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and all of it was served on a buttery brioche bun that really made it feel premium. It's also paired with Dillano's coffee, which was solid for a drip--good enough if you're not super picky. The Dillano's coffee shop across the way actually charges about a dollar more and has a longer wait, so grabbing it here makes total sense. The packaging is clean and travel-friendly, and they even include a knife, which is thoughtful since the sandwich is a decent size. I couldn't even finish mine--it was a bit too heavy for an early morning, but definitely satisfying. If you've got time--like me with nearly three hours before my flight--this is a great choice. Even if you're just an hour out from boarding, it's worth the quick wait. Honestly one of the better airport breakfast experiences I've had in a while.

A reasonable priced, fast place to pickup clam chowder. It's basically a pickup counter and there are lots of seats and tables to eat right around the area. However after eating the chowder, I took a short walk around the area and found another place selling Pike's chowder (the best!) for a little more money. In any case, the chowder was good and it's a nice place to pickup lunch.

I got the Sodo Breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, arugula, tomato and cayenne aioli (not overly spicy) with a side of cheddar grits like many reviews recommended! The grits of course were the star of the show! They came out pipping hot, very creamy with a little bit of chives on top! My husband loved them too and ended up eating half. The sandwich was also very good with the right amount of aioli and tons of fresh arugula. The bread was nice and soft and let's just say there was nothing left on my plate when I was done. I even convinced my husband to join me and order something. He was very skeptical that there was no meat, but thanks to the yelpers I knew exactly what to recommend that would meet his taste (and bonus...I really wanted to try lol). He got the fresh baked, made daily cinnamon roll! That baby came out hot, smelling amazing, and full of cream cheese icing!!! He devoured it and so did I! His vote for best item went to the grits but I tend to lean more toward the cinnamon roll! Service was surprisingly fast so if we had less time this wouldn't have been a terrible option to stop and still make our flight! The servers were also super sweet, one even offered to refill my water bottle since I was heading out. Honestly tempted to go back for lunch.... lol

I made the difficult choice and settled on Fish Tacos, Mac 'n Cheese bites and the Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad. Portion size was good, definitely had leftovers for the next day. The food was great, the salads were fresh and didn't feel like they were scooped from store bought tubs. The fish tacos were really tasty and I really like the corn tortillas. I like that the Mac salad had black olives in it, better than the salad down at Marination! I like that this spot has a little bit of a PNW personality and isn't as bland as other spots in the airport. Service was great and everything came out quickly during my visit. They have a solid beer menu with great local options. I had a hazy from local brewery Logan Brewing that was great and the perfect color for a hazy - you know it's good when it's the right hue! I will say that their food is ridiculously, unreasonably priced. Lots of the food sounds really good but I didn't want anything too heavy so I opted for a Blackened Chicken Cobb Salad. The salad was refreshing, good quality, and the chicken was cooked well. That said, I don't think it needed to be a $20 salad. I guess given that it's the airport it makes sense, it just seemed pretty pricey to me. It's a good little spot to stop before your flight, just anticipate some steep pricing. :)

After climbing the stairs it was open seating, the bar seats faced into the bar not overlooking terminal or airfield. I opted for a view of the airfield, little did I realize this was family seating. After reviewing the menu again I decided on the LOAD BAKED POTATO SOUP and a hard cider from a local Puget Sound brewery. The service was fast to drop a glass of ice water, a since the A/C in terminal wasn't working the water was good to start. The soup arrived fast, but I was shocked when they didn't offer crackers or bread to accompany it! Before I could start eating I had to request/wait for a clean spoon as I don't like food caked my tea spoon (they don't have soup spoons). The cool (Not Ice cold) hard cider was served in a can, or served with frozen mug. What is hard to swallow was the 225% markup on the hard cider. The atmosphere/decor was pretty easy going. I'll remember next time to find a place to eat where kids don't run freely. Sorry, I forgot to get photos to present to you all. Overall, they could probably do some seating upgrades for the bar and family seating areas.
