8oz roast beef sandwich and fried clams

Saw reviews about the beef sandwich so wife and I stop in to give it a try after a train ride. Definitely recommend if looking for an affordable lunch with good service and friendly staff. Roast beef sandwich was very tasteful with right amount of flavor.

Great bartenders and outdoor seating area, but meh food. I'm sorry! The coleslaw was not great, but the onion rings were! Definitely get those. Loved the waitstaff. Super affordable menu. Just stick with the tried and true fried options and you'll be good!

Looking for a place to sit outside and enjoy the sunset and have a beverage and snack. Just the right spot. Across the street from the train station, there is a great view and people watching galore. The staff is friendly and attentive to your needs. A groom assortment of beers and a great menu. I went with the crispy tacos with checking and a Tuckerman's Pale ale. Perfect for my 7 mile hike. Tucked between two buildings, you might miss it so look for the names, and grab a table and enjoy the view. Do it soon. It's getting cold out there.

Our second time here and we really enjoyed the pastrami sandwich, roast beef sandwich, fries and onion rings. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly service. Great restaurant for a quick bite.

I tried this place for the first time and enjoyed it. I got the seafood plate with shrimp, haddock, scallops and fries. The BBQ sauce was very good and they sell by the bottle if you want to by it. I believe it's James River sauce. Service was good and very friendly. Prices were in line with New England seafood so it was fair. I would definitely go back and this is a definite recommendation.

Love this little spot, Great roast beef sammys, yummy crunchy, beer batter (I think) onion rings... I get my with horsey sauce, my wife gets hers with the bbq... really good roast beef!

We stopped here for lunch, with a party of 5. As others have said, the food was barely mediocre. The chicken wings are served fried, and unseasoned, with no sauce. You are given a small to go cup of sauce to dip them in. The $11 Margueritas were weak, made with cheap liquor, and served in a beer glass. The fish was obviously frozen, and rubbery. The onion rings tasted just like the fish. The pulled pork was more chunky than pulled, and lacked any real flavor. Our half hour lunch took an hour, because two of us spent 30 minutes in the restroom, immediately after eating. I think that this place has outlived it's useful lifetime.

It's good but I thought it was a Polish restaurant called 'Beefinski's.' I came ready for sausages and perogis but it ended up being okay.

Fish and chips too heavily battered. Fried onion rings good. Roast beef sandwiches looked good. Did not order them.

Nice patio and a great view of the mountains. Good service. My wife's margarita had too much sour mix and she could not finish it.

We picked right! Great atmosphere. Really felt like we were in a restaurant at a ski resort in Europe. Both got burgers and they were so good. Fresh and hot, so needed with all the cold outside. Service was quick and the waitress was kind and talked us through the local drinks we both ordered. 10/10 would 100% revisit if we visit the area again.

We meandered in to this rustic establishment and were completely surprised that there was so much seating ... doesn't look like much from the outside but it can accommodate a good amount of people which is why we did not wait. We sat down and felt like we were in a family lodge to warm up to for some good grub so, the vibe was fantastic. Our server was attentive and super friendly and it seemed a lot like the staff and people working were family and really cared how your experience was. The food on the other hand was a little lack luster in freshness and good quality as we got some appetizers and main courses that we could have really gotten at any restaurant so nothing that really set them apart ... this could be a gold mine if the menu was top notch. If you are looking for some pub grub and aren't looking for top shelf stuff, then this place is for you. Very clean including the bathrooms and they were rotating people in and out of the tables like a warehouse.

I want to start off by saying if someone comes into your establishment 1. Don't assume they are door dashing 2. Treat them like the client before or after them. Once seated it took over 5 mins and two walks past from the server before she even acknowledged me. She comes over ask for my drink order and at no point asks me did I want an appetizer. Also I tried being polite and make conversation by asking which of the bourbons cocktail would she recommend. She immediately gets an attitude and goes well they're all good. I'm like ok. The drink comes and I have to go can I order a couple appetizers. I order them and she never comes and ask me did I want to order an entree. The poutine fries were so soggy and fries weren't even fully cooked. The duck was highly chewy. After 22 mins with my appetizer she finally comes back. I ask why time do you close she goes kitchen closes at 8. It's currently 746, I then ok can I order my entree. I order the grilled Caesar and brink chicken. Not sure why they didn't bring out both at the same time because they immediately brought the salad out and took another 15 for the burnt chicken. The chicken was the most disrespectful thing ever. In what world would you think it's ok to serve that. Then go oh they like to get a crust. Ma'am that was burnt. Then not to even get offered anything instead. I just asked for my bill and left. I honestly felt because I was the only person of color they treated me like I wasn't important at all. I felt disrespected, and like they didn't want me there at all.
