Best roast beef sandwich in the valley! Tangy sauce makes their Classic Roast Beef hard to beat! Hand cut onion rings are delicious! We stopped in with our 2 small children for a quick bite. The outdoor seating was perfect. Unfortunately the food was disappointing. Kids meals were fine (grilled cheese and cheeseburger) my husband had fried clams that were undercooked and I had a veggie wrap that was served with literally 5 stale tortilla chips. Service was lack luster. When we tried to flag down our waiter he seemed to ignore us. We finally had another woman bring the check over and this was when we informed her of the meals. She said "well just take it off the bill if you don't like it" So... Blah food and poor customer service. Much better places within walking distance. read more

Went there on 10/17/21. We provided our names and were told 15-20 minute wait. Upon returning after 15 minutes were told they could not seat us. They were closing for the evening. went in by myself for a bite and to read the paper. both servers were kind and accommodating. scallops were pillowy and sweet, lightly fried. clams great. i just told the server to bring whatever drink she liked best...pomegranate margarita was balanced and not overly punchy. just a nice, relaxing hole-in-the-wall for a tasty treat. really good laid-back service. thanks, ladies! My family of 4 went on a gorgous day so decided to eat at their outside seating area. That area can seat about 6 tables, each with sun umbrella. The hostess/cashier/waitress is super friendly and she made us welcome immediately. Awesome onion rings. We ordered a large and inhaled that basket in the matter of seconds. I ordered roast beef sandwich with BBQ sauce and it came between a burger bun. I thought it was alright. My wife and daughter each ordered a fried clam dish, and its whole clam which I liked alot. Price point is reasonable. Overall I thought their fried food is better than the roast beef sandwich. I will consider another meal next time when we are vaca in North Conway. read more

Are you kidding me? Beef and ski is the best place I've ever been. After skiing beef hit the spot, the bartender and service is impeccable. This is the place to be. Leslyn was one of the nicest and most accommodating bartenders I have ever had. She not only served better than I ever seen she was also able to multitask better than Jesus himself. My wife and me ordered a fisherman's platter and a whole belly clam boat, between both meals there was not one whole belly clam. They served us heavily breaded clam strips and the meal portions were small. A great location in the Village for a delicious, convenient and inexpensive meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and service is always quick and personable. My husband really enjoys their Mountain Burger and Roast Beef. My favorite thing to get is their Loaded Baked Potato and Hot Dog because it is most satisfying for under $5! We just had our second trip to B&S today. We are always impressed when we stop in. The food is great and inexpensive. What really impressed us was the fact that the waitress brought over a big bowl of ice water for my dog and the other pups on the patio. She did so before we even ordered. Passed this place walking through town on July 4th and couldn't resist the menu to grab lunch. Lots of selections and outdoor seating was all we needed even on a rainy day! The inside of this place is tiny but the menu is large and contains everything from delicious roast beef sandwiches to seafood selections, burgers and nachos, appetizers etc. Prices are modest and the service is top notch and friendly! We came here with kids and there was 8 of us and they were accommodating and welcoming. Service was also fast and the food was excellent! We ate here Labor Day weekend. We were underwhelmed by both the food and service. There was live music which was nice. They are also dog friendly with the outdoor seating. Mediocre at best. Friendly staff and service, but the food is bland and the portions are small. There are also flies swarming all over the place inside, that rest on your food and arms while you try to eat and swat at the same time. Thank goodness!! North Conway Village has a place where I can eat lunch for under $10 (I should stay under $5 for the calories) AND I can sit in the courtyard of the restaurant and see the mountains, the scenic railroad while having a cocktail. This is the only place in the village where there is outdoor seating with a mountain view! I am a local resident and I take my wife and 4 yr old son to Beef and Ski in North Conway Village because the food is good, there is something on the menu for all of us and the owner is on-site and it shows. Good, fresh roast beef. We have had the standard roast beef sandwich, open faced, french dip, and fish and chips. Tip - get it the standard with cheese and the sauce. A bit spicy. My sister's hot pastrami was drenched in mustard, onion rings were flavorless, and I ordered a chicken wrap that had old lettuce. Before I ordered I asked if it was made with their chicken tenders, they said yes but it came with grilled chicken that tasted blah. I also asked for a side of bbq but it was forgotten. Awesome roast beef sandwich. The bbq sauce they use on it (if you elect to have the sauce) was great! We sat outside and it was a great spot for some people watching and relaxing. The staff was friendly. Warning - Many toppings to the sandwiches are an extra cost if they aren't ones that come with the sandwich (like lettuce, tomato, cheese etc). This is stated on the menu, but just be careful you aren't constructing a sandwich that is more expensive than a version already there. There are different versions of sandwiches or burgers that include different toppings. read more

Food was Sub-par and overrated We tried to stop in for lunch today but it took a turn so we left. We returned for dinner and there were no tables outside and inside was our only choice. It was Hot inside and the staff were not friendly at all to us. So we decided to take our food to go since I didn't want to be there another minute. After we ordered our food which was 3 roast beef sandwiches very dry, a large order of fries and a pint-size clam box. Our resort is only a 3-minute walk so we walked back and sat down to only find subpar food. The clams were very disappointing for $18.95 a pint we ended up with grocery store quality clams breaded with no bellies mixed in with onion rings and french fries. I was very annoyed with the food quality & customer service. We ended up throwing the clams away because it was like eating popcorn shrimp instead of real clams that we were charged for. I'll never eat here again. Definitely a tourist trap because you're stuck here and there isn't really much to choose from. read more
