When they gave me the small cup I went back in because I was sure there was a bigger size for $3.99. That was the size and it wasn't full nor was it good coleslaw. Small town and Beefs is the only place open after 9pm. We needed food, so we popped our heads in and had a seat. Neither of us was in the mood for wings, so we ordered something differently. Visiting the lake Wales area and my family and I stopped here for dinner. I've been to BeefOBradys many times. The server was very nice and the food was good. 1st time at Beef O Bradys and I would come back. We came to watch the NFL games on Sunday and the way its setup is nice. Each TV has the teams flag hanging to show who is playing. Here's what I can tell you. I've seen tree sap move faster in the winter time compared to these girls. Greeted at the door immediately, but then had to wait 7 minutes for someone to finally come to my table. Understaffed most likely. Seems like nothing's a priority. Food is ok not great patio is dog friendly so much so that they have doggie dishes so the babies can have water. TL;DR version: extremely mediocre food sent wrong multiple times, far too slow, but the service was friendly enough. Restaurant building seems very old and dirty. Had Shelby as a waitress and she tried her best to make do, so imho none of the problems were on her. Full read: they seem understaffed and management wasn't very receptive to problems. Ordered first in my party, got the meal last (by almost 15 minutes to everyone else) and it was wrong. Meal was sent back, was wrong again, waited almost 45 minutes for the check (after telling the manager -- not Shelby's fault) when I had repeatedly mentioned that we needed to go ASAP. Wound up having to go up and ask two more times for the check that had a single entree and drink. GF ended up being late to work as a result. Advice: if someone calls for a manager and asks for the check, you take over the table or at least that person as the manager and finish it. Because they were understaffed the manager was also running food, ultimately I wound up having to get up and find someone because I assumed (wrongly) the manager told the waitress or would be taking care of the issue. Food is always good...unfortunately if you are not a smoker they do allow smoking on their out side porch area as well as non service animals. So upon arrival we where greeted to a dog peeing on the outside furniture and a face full of smoke. Service was AWFUL! Unless you are a local and the staff know who you are I would recommend skipping this location and going to the one in Winter Haven. When we finally got our food the manager on staff literally slid it onto our table as she was walking by to gossip with the table behind us. It took about 10 minutes to get her attention to let her know the order was wrong, since our waitress was still nowhere to be seen. As soon as the plate went back our waitress appears saying "I saw your plate go back, was something wrong?" New meal comes out, waitress didn't even wait to see if it was correct. Arrived at the Restaurant at 7:20 our party of ten received their food at 8:50 when we got it it was NOT worth the wait! This is the worst Beef O'Brady's I have ever been to. We waited over an hour for our food (party of 7, but simple food). The roof started leaking on the people seated at the table next to us (pouring on the family and their food). One sink worked in the bathroom, but they have a tv in there. The only reason why they get a two star instead of a 1 star is because the food was good. We come in and seat ourselves and were quick to get waited on after that it went down hill. The food took a bit of time but that's to be expected seeing how it was Sunday and football was on. We didn't get eating utensils when we were given our menus and we asked for them when we got our drinks. We later asked for them when we got our food and I still had to ask again about 10 min later. When my drink was refilled, they poured coke in with my tea. After they collected our dishes we had to wait another 20 min for our check. Best Place in town if you ask me. They work with the community and they always know how to make you happy. The food is always good, TVs are always on good sports and the girls are very friendly! I think this is the best Beef O Brady's around here. The food is good. They have come up with a lot of fun games for patrons. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Ok , let me start off by saying that I love the Beef Obradys restaurants... Great food , great atmosphere , very friendly people.... So while out on a sales trip I stopped at this one in Lake Wales ... Mind you pulling up should of given me a clue as to what was to be the lunch from hell... After walking in , and everyone in the restaurant stopped talking and was staring at me like covered in blood.. I sat down at what looked like a bar , ok it was a bar , but only by the word , not by what I was sitting at , which could only be compared to a counter seat at the local truck stop.... The waitresses were overly friendly and equally annoying ... And we're louder then the cars blowing by on hwy 27.... I'm not sure about the kid beside me that just ordered a Yuengling .... He looks to be in about 18 years old and the bartender said , I'm not going to ID you cause I know who you are ???? .... Well I don't and he looks like squidward off sponge bob .... So do your job .... Now on to the food .... I ordered the chicken tender sliders and cheese sticks ... Not so hard right ???? NO ..... The first time the cheese sticks came out the were ice cold , the second time they cooked them till all of the cheese was out of them and all they were was a hollow shell.... I told her to skip it and that I didn't want them.... She apologized and took them away ... Now I know what I ordered are called sliders and the name must derive from the way they slide the breading off of the chicken and put it on the tiny highschool rolls and serve it to you like I'm some idiot ordering fried breading....
