For the longest time I struggled to find common ground with the demand that helped catapult Beefs into a leading Florida franchise. I grew up in Brandon, graduated high school in the 80's right when Beef'O'Brady's started to hit its stride and opening new locations. As many times as I tried, I always walked away thinking the menu was mediocre at best. I think what changed was me, although I do believe the new menu had something to so with it, I never really saw the magic. Cheeseburger wrap, the rice bowls, the salads, they all rarely disappoint me. The staff at the Wesley Chapel location is as friendly a staff as you will meet anywhere. Jackie is very attentive. This all said, their Nashville hot wings are my new go to wing preference with a side of creamy poblano sauce. I am going to Nashville in October for a Bucs game and look forward to comparing their Nashville seasoning to Hattie B's. My husband and I went to Beef 'O' Brady's in Lutz for a late lunch today, Nov. 9, 2020, at approximately 3 pm. Once inside, we waited and waited to be greeted and seated. I saw no one from the waitstaff anywhere around. I finally called out "Yoohoo, anybody there?" A patron seated at the "unattended" bar called out to one of the servers to tell her that people were waiting. The server did apologize and seated us promptly. We ordered our meals. I ordered the Chicken Poblano Lettuce Wraps and my husband ordered a Cuban sandwich and a side salad. He was served a HALF of a Cuben and his salad. He asked the server "Is this all of the sandwich?" The server replied with "it's a half with the salad, the lunch size." He had ordered a Cuban...not from the lunch menu. The server said, "Oh, I just assumed you wanted the lunch size." She did bring out another half of a Cuban for him. I have had their Lettuce Wraps and have always liked them. I am not sure if it is new management or something else, but this time they were a mess. What used to be delicious, small, crispy wonton strips on the wraps have now become big, soggy, and greasy wonton strips. I asked for the Poblano Sauce on the side and our server forgot to bring it. The coleslaw on the wraps was more slaw dressing than actual slaw. The wraps dripped constantly and were extremely messy. I understand how the above could be an isolated, but frustrating incident. However, what really upset me was when I went to the Ladies' Room, there were 2 cooks and 2 servers standing in the hall by the kitchen and across from the restrooms. They were all laughing and being extremely loud and NONE of them had facemasks on. One of the cooks even had an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth. As I passed them I said, "Where are your facemasks?" (I want to say that when the servers were in the dining area, they were wearing masks.) This type of behavior, during the COVID pandemic, is one of the reasons why we can not get this virus under control. They were not following the guidelines, nor the law requiring that facemasks are to be worn by all service personnel. Both my husband and I are senior citizens and my husband is highly compromised. We do not eat out much, but when we do, we expect common courtesy and common sense in regards to preventing the spread of the virus. Not sure if we will visit this location again, especially with their flagrant disregard of safety for the patrons that were present. read more

It's going downhill fast. Since the corporate takeover: 1. Menu items are gone. 2. Prices are up. 3. Daily specials are not on the board. 4. "Spirit" is down among both workers and customers. 5. Attempts to contact corporate by phone are unsuccessful, they REALLY do not want to hear from their customers. I'm am/well... was, a regular. I would see many of the same folks each time I went as they had the same customer traits as I do. Now I see only a few, and fewer each time. The old owner knew his customers and took good care of them thereby making the store popular and profitable. The waitress didn't bring enough drinks- we waited 5 more minutes for a new waitress to greet our table. She came by when my salad was delivered, (I had no silver ware) the food was ... not AT ALL the caliber we've had from other Beef O Brady's in town. She brought our check- never came back. My husband had to cash out at the bartender. He perked towers the kitchen, she was leaning against the counter talking among other waitresses. One was sitting on the counter, eating. Every once in a while I think that chicken wings would be something good to eat, and that Beef O Brady's would be a good place to eat them. Most times I'm wrong about the latter. The wings often come out questionably cooked, and if you felt sick afterwards you wouldn't be the first person. The rest of the food is okay, but there's no real reason to come. The fries are okay, and probably the best thing they have, using industry standard Sysco 3/8" French fries. Curly fries are a choice, but they are a bad one. Consider using ranch for your fries with hot sauce from the wings. If they served nothing but fries I would increase my rating to 4 stars, but unfortunately they serve other food in a futile attempt to be a restaurant as well as a bar. read more

What a great time! Delicious food (burgers, wings, salad) great service from our server Samantha ("Kit") and the environment was perfect!! A very happy environment!! The manager, Ray, was so friendly and professional. You could tell he had years of experience running restaurants, the way he talked to diners and greeted folks and made sure that everything was perfect as he made his way around the restaurant. On top of the great food and exceptional service, we were delightfully surprised when we walked in and saw they had a live DJ, DJ Nemeses, instead of jukebox music. It was an 80's theme night. The staff was dressed in 80's attire and DJ Nemeses was spot on with all of the best 80s music!! Thank you to Ray, Kit and everyone at the Lutz Beefs on 41. We will be back!! read more

If you have ever watched the corporate commercial for Beef O' Brady's and thought, "I would like to eat there", think again. I am talking about the one in Lutz on US 41. Three years ago we were eating there twice a week and now, less than once a month. Tonight was the worst of all. We were a party of 4. We ordered all at once, the combination appetizer, dinner salads, one 10 piece wing basket buffalo mild, a 15 wing basket with 6 chili thai and the remainder buffalo medium and one of the advertised specials that came with salad, main course and dessert, two beers. a hot coffee and a sweet tea. We asked " can you stagger the food because we want to get through the appetizer before the salads arrive. (Sarah) our server, said, "oh, you want to enjoy your food, no problem". Less than a minute later, my mother's salad arrived, then my tea and one water. Who ordered a water or why not 4 waters. Then an appetizer. I called Sarah to the table and mentioned that we did not want all of the food at once she said, "oh they must not read my instructions. I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Then the two beers arrived and no coffee. I asked another server for coffee. He disappears and he and she come back with the rest of the food and no coffee. May I reiterate, my 81 year old mother had her dinner before a drink! I asked for coffee again and finally, she brings coffee but not until she talked to 3 young men at another booth for 2-3 minutes about her tattoos. Half way through the meal, we ordered a child's meal to go and take out boxes to box up leftovers. We got the check before dessert was served to my mother. We were so aggravated, we boxed up our food and took it home to eat. I am saying all of this because the food is good but the service is herendance. There is no thought at all about the quality of service. Why order an appetizer if all the food comes at the same time? When I asked where the child's drink was, she replied, "you didn't tell me what you wanted". Isn't it your job to ask? It didn't help that she brought the kids meal turned on its side either.
