We visited on a Saturday afternoon on a whim. We were immediately seated. A polite and very friendly server came by and toon our drink order. A few minutes later here was our order: 1. Blackened salmon with jalapeño creamed corn, tater tots and an extra side of mashed potatoes with gravy. 2. For an egg allergy, the burger bowl with bacon, cheese, pickles, greens and a side of fries. Our sever came by and told us the jalapeño creamed corn was not available and offered us different vegetables. We figured we had enough sides coming so we chose just to stick with the rest of the order The food came out fast, but the fries clever came out. Notes on the salmon: slightly overcooked but fresh. Notes on the tater tots: delicious! Order bbq sauce to dip them in you won't be disappointed. Notes on the mashed potatoes: bland, and tastes like tap water Notes on the burger: perfectly executed. No bacon in the salad. Small amounts of flavorless cheese. Fresh greens. When we were mostly done with our meal our server came by with my drink refill and asked if we ever got the fries. I declined as we were nearly done. She immediately took them off the bill. Also when it was time for the check she asked if everything was ok and we were honest and told her what we thought. She apologized. We left a reasonable tip for the good service. So all in all, I'd say a 3 star experience. read more

Great food: we had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and Black-N-Bleu Burger, both were wonderful. The atmosphere is energetic and visually stimulating (old vehicles and art). Noticed a table of elderly folks (possibly local assisted living) being taken care of by 'their' attendees who were also treated fantastically by the restaurant staff! On other end of the spectrum the staff also treated three young children to be able to honk the horn and blow smoke from the old ford lifted high above the bar area (the kids loved it)! Went for a day trip to the Tampa premium outlets and worked up an appetite so many restaurants but we had been to a Ford's Garage before in downtown St Pete's new it would be a great place for the kids. It's located right across from the outlets easy right turn in and plenty of parking. The decor is super inventive from the front door to the back to the bathrooms everything cars related. We were seated right away on a Friday afternoon, very pleasant waitress working her butt off. Food was hot and delivered shortly after ordering. Burger was cooked perfection, fries are very salted and peppered. The bbq sauce is very tasty. The prices are reasonable Would recommend trying if you are in the area! read more

Our waiter was excellent--super attentive and made sure we always had drinks and anything else we needed. Funny enough, she turned out to be old friends with our friend's sister--small world! The restaurant was clean, and the food came out pretty quickly even though it was busy. My son got the buffalo chicken Mac n cheese and thoroughly enjoyed it with tons leftover for another meal. Hubby LOVED the burnt ends grilled cheese and said it had tons of flavor. It was freezing. Waitress said it's normal. The thing is the food arrived barely warm and went cold quick. My onion rings were never hot to the touch. Burger was warm in the middle. My wife's meat loaf plate was cold when it arrived and her food chilled quickly. In my thinking, plates coming to the table should be hot. From the kitchen. When I saw our server comfortably holding the plates I was disappointed. Food was ok. Burger was $14 but to change from fries to 5 onion rings was $6 extra. It's not with it. Meatloaf is ok. It's the first time I've ever visited Fords Garage. This place was pretty cool. There were model T vehicles in and outside of the restaurant. Even the bathroom had tire sinks. The burger I had was very juicy. I got the model A burger. They did have a gluten free bun. It fell apart when I was eating it. The waitress was nice, and very quick to serve us. They had a seasonal menu that included STICKY RIBS & FIRESTONE SHRIMP which consisted of Crispy Pork Ribs Tossed in an Asian-Style BBQ Sauce Paired with Lightly Battered Crispy Shrimp Tossed in Spicy "Boom Boom" Sauce, Served with Yellow Rice and Asian Slaw. Let me say this dish was awesome. The ribs were very flavorful and the meat fell off the bone. The shrimp were fried perfectly and tasted great as well. The yellow rice was seasoned very well. Very cool restaurant. We went in for a late lunch and were seated pretty quick. The entire staff were very polite and friendly. The portion sizes were crazy. My son got the chicken tenders and there were at six larger than average tenders. My wife got a chicken sandwich and it was huge. I got the burnt end sandwich and it was very tasty. We had another great experience at Ford's Garage after a full day at Zoo Tampa. This was our fourth Ford's Garage location we've visited. We like the table spacing and it's not too noisy. We had 4 adults and our granddaughter and were seated right away. Kylee was our server and she did a fabulous job! She was very attentive, patient and super thoughtful.
