Great, great service. We had some bees create a huge hive in a water meter and were worried the city would kill them to get access to the meter, so we had Quentin come to relocate them. It ended up being such an amazing experience while my son and I watched him do his magic and patiently interact with the bees and get them to migrate to a temporary box for relocation. It's rare you find someone who is so passionate about something, and it's clear Quentin loves bees and saving them. He even goes barefoot so he doesn't step on them, and once he's sure he's got them migrating to the new box, he leaves so the stragglers have time to get in there and then comes back at night to pick it up. read more

Quentin is a pleasure to work with. We called based off a referral from a termite company, whose employee asked us to try live removal before extermination. I totally agreed, although the other companies I saw were down south in San Diego and my family is in north county. He was clear in his quote. I asked if he offered a warranty since another company did so. Quentin explained that he could only guarantee he'd remove this queen's hive, and another could come back. Made sense to me, and he was sincere and not belittling. We were not sticklers of his arrival time since we were working from home, which worked out awesome because he had time to get hives from Legoland beforehand. I had beehive in backyard. He asked for cash but accepted check. There was no receipt. He asked for check before job completion and did not show up after that. The bee colony was divided unintentionally and only one of the two groups removed. I have no clue what group if any survived. The reason I contacted him was to save the colony and I doubt if that happened. read more

Took a while to write this as the last thing I want to do is hurt someone's business but this guy literally split after receiving half his payment (in the form of a check) and never finished the job. He barely started the job to begin with, had zero professionalism and was extremely flaky. The job was difficult if I'm being honest. My boyfriend is the homeowner, we had bees all over the backyard and their hive was located somewhere within the artificial rock surrounding the pool. We were desperate and even wanting it done so bad that we were totally okay with the rock being broken apart for us to replace/repair later. Quentin took the job knowing it would be difficult and did not want to break the rock -- he was adamant that he would be able to use his contraptions to get the bees out without any of that so we trusted him. We were quoted around $900 or so. Quentin set up his contraption to supposedly get the bees out in a way that they would not be able to get back in and then left. Days went by and bees were definitely making it back in so my boyfriend reached out to him. He was supposed to come back and then was a no show. Quentin showed up randomly a couple times (not on days he had promised he would) and would shift his little contraption around and leave again. Showed up a handful of times on basically his own volition. Once he also brought his two small kids- who played shoeless on the rocks around our pool (which are up the backyard stairs). Nothing against kids but I'm not trying to be the one getting sued when one of them falls and hurts themself- extremely inappropriate in my Opinion to bring them. Another occasion, he also used our salt water pool to RINSE SOS DETERGENT off of his hands- and was offended when my boyfriend asked him not to. Who does that ?? At some point, his contraption still wasn't doing much so the next time he came out after my boyfriend waited weeks for him to reply - he asks for half his payment. My boyfriend wrote him a check for $400 and then we never saw Quentin again. We text him and he never replied. Judging from another review - this must be how he does business regularly. Now we are not only still stuck with bees, his stupid little contraption is just sticking out of the rock and we can't get to it. Quentin is not only unprofessional, he's a scam artist. read more

Despite the positive reviews I see, my experience with this company was a NIGHTMARE. I would give them zero or less. In July, 2019 they came to my home to remove Bee's. Not only did the person not know what he was doing, he did over $900 in damage to my tile roof. The owner Quentin Alexander came to my home and said he would refund my money for a job they did not do. He is not an honest person. I had to pay another company to do the job correctly.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and he even refuses to answer them. Also, he has ignored me as well. He has not given me any money back, and probably never will. I would never use them, and I hope anyone reading this review would do the same. Go with someone that is reputable and stands behind their work. This company does not. read more

I had a bird house over-run with bees and knew there were honey combs inside. I felt the bees would thrive in a more agricultural environment and luckily I found a card on a bulletin board in Encinitas for Beehive Savers. WOW! What a great job this nice, friendly and customer service oriented family of 2 brothers and their grandfather did in taking the bird house away. They video taped the dismantling and there were several thousand bees inside that had made honeycombs around each wall. The bees were transferred to their own new home out in Ramona where they will help to polinate the many wonderful flowers and trees to be found there while continuing to make delicious honey. The team also put the birdhouse back together, painted it and returned it to it's original spot. Maybe the next inhabitants will be - birds! Thank you Quentin for a great job!. read more

When some holdover bees weren't leaving, he was great about advising me until all were gone. Very efficient and friendly, will work in any condition and solve any "bee" problem. I had three bee hives on my property. These guys somehow managed to get to a bee hive 20 feet in up a tree, using bungee cords, pulling system (constructed from ropes and hooks) and a ladder. Very inventive. They also managed to remove a hive from under my roof with relative ease. The best part is they don't kill the bees. In a world where bees are disappearing this is a great way to "humanely" remove bees and relocate them where they are needed, ultimately helping our agricultural areas (rural or urban).
