I did have to pay $500 extra for this work, but it was still less expensive than if I'd hired my own electrician -- I checked!) I also needed drywall patching where holes had to be drilled to secure the PEX pipe in my basement ceiling, and they had contacts to have that done as well, although I elected to go with my handyman to do the work. Also, what impressed me was their professionalism. Alvin walked me through every little thing that needed to be done and answered several questions I had. In fact, I thought of additional questions later and called him a couple of times, and within the hour he would return my call and answer my questions. After the grounding rods were hooked up, a team from True Blue Plumbing was contracted to do the work, and they are an excellent company! They came out within the week and finished the job in one day! The city inspector passed everything, although there was a problem with my old kitchen faucet. I called True Blue Plumbing and they came out the next day and installed a new faucet for me without charging me for the extra labor. They ended up fixing the faulty line as well as the inner toilet valve within the first hour of service and did a great job by verifying for me that the problem was indeed fixed! On the day they arrived early (after calling to confirm it was OK). They got right to it, and had to drain the remainder of the oil, before cutting the tank into pieces. They were very professional, cemented over the wall where the pipes had been, removed the exterior pipes and cemented those. And laid down some odor-absorbing stuff to help with the smell. I'd recommend these for oil tank removal. (And by the way, my wife used them for her father's exterior oil tank decommission 2 years ago and it also went really well.)
