I requested service for my sprinkler service which would not work. He quoted a service charge price and a scheduled date for the next day. He arrived, checked the shutoff valve which I had opened and then showed me a second shutoff with a very small control valve. Look elsewhere!! I was grossly overcharged, the system needs adjustments, he cut corners, used cheap parts. Now he's unreachable. He does not reply to emails, texts, phone calls. He installed the "new" system last fall and said he'd return in spring to adjust it and check it after winter. That did not happen. I now have a big, very expensive mess. We hired Jacob to do some modifications to the old funky irrigation system we inherited with our home. Jacob quickly and efficiently made the new connections and corrected problems. One zone required boring under our driveway, and Jacob tried valiantly to make that one final connection. Unfortunately, that did not work out, so he made a small cut in the asphalt driveway and quickly put the new connection in the trench. He then patched the driveway very well. We've had the sprinkler system for a few years now that Jacob (owner) installed. Each spring we struggle getting Jacob to respond to texts, calls or emails to start the system after being winterized and fix the heads/pipes that have broken over the winter. When he did respond, he told us he would come and never did. Not once, but three years in a row. We finally had to hire someone else to fix the broken areas (who said the product used was not quality). Jacob is such a nice guy so I hate leaving a negative review. We've given him the benefit of the doubt assuming there must be personal issues going on but three years in a row? It is mid June now and our sprinklers have still not been dealt with despite calls, texts and emails and the one he responded to he told us he'd be here a few weeks ago. We chose him initially years ago from the 5 star reviews but not sure how he's retaining those stars. I'm writing this on the morning after Jacob worked on my sprinkler system, so that may bias my review, but cannot speak higher of him and his business. After getting scammed for way too much money by another sprinkler service company, I called Jacob on a Monday afternoon in peak sprinkler repair season (early spring, as most folks are getting their systems up and running), and he was at my house first thing on Wednesday morning. He spent about an hour and a half working through my system, fixing a sprinkler head and moving a few others. The cost of the job was extremely reasonable, and he couldn't have been more friendly or professional. Cannot recommend any higher. read more

My experience was that 1) Communications was fast, accurate and made me feel appreciated as a customer. 2) scheduling was easy, in my case same day, and showed up on time (I was the last job, so they also sent updates during the day to confirm they were on-schedule). 3) I felt valued as a customer. We had an irrigation system installed and I didn't realize we needed the backflow permitted and inspected until after the contractor was long gone. I reached out to Bridge City and Jacob got right back to me. He showed up, was incredibly helpful and friendly, inspected the work that was done, discussed my options, fixed two issues regarding the Backflow (apparently the city wants 6" of clearance underneath the device, and 24"+ of clearance above), and answered all my questions. I had a Jacob help me activate and properly set up my sprinkler system at my new construction home. He did a great job explaining how the system works, inspecting and adjusting all the heads, making sure the coverage was properly set up. He ran through how to operate the controller and get the right amount of watering depending on the time of year. We are very cautious about over watering, as we have had water intrusion issues in previous homes, and he helped set our system to get adequate coverage without over watering,.
