I found them online when I was shopping around, and from the moment I contacted their sales team to the end of my project when we turned on my solar panels they have been incredibly professional and straightforward to work with. Every person that I spoke with on the phone and all of the installation team who are at my house were respectful, pleasant, polite, and honest about the process from beginning to end. I have only had my panels on for a few weeks but it's been several months in the making and the communication has been immaculate. My sales rep Drex and the rest of his team connected me with a fantastic credit union to evenly swap my electric bill with my new solar loan. They have a dedicated person for every step of the way so I never had to deal with a single government form for any of the rebate programs outside of reading over them when they were ready to be signed. They originally told me the installation could take 2 to 3 days and they were out of here and half a day. They kept me informed every step of the way about which person was coming from the city and then the power company and the city again and what to expect for all of those visits. I'm a very hands-on type of customer but about halfway through the process I just stopped worrying about it and let them contact me when they needed something because I realized they were more on top of everything than I was. That was such a nice bonus. I'm so glad I went with Green Ridge Solar. I got quotes from several companies before I started and it was a confusing decision. Ultimately I'm very happy with the outcome and the ease of the process. And now I love watching the app connected to my system tell me how much energy my system produces everyday! Their install lead also brought me a very nice gift box full of cool stuff that we all enjoyed eating/drinking/using in my house. Loved that so much and I certainly wasn't expecting it so it was extra fun. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. They were very fairly priced, and the quality of service and workmanship and customer service is not going to get any better from another company. Our 12.5kW solar installation with Green Ridge Solar was marked by persistent communication issues and project management problems, though the final installation appears to work as intended. Pros: - Competent installation team that completed the work in two days - Local company - System is functioning properly now that it's installed Cons: - Required constant follow-up for basic communication - Multiple staff turnovers disrupted project continuity - Poor internal communication about permit requirements and inspections - Engineering plans didn't account for roof features, requiring last-minute modifications - Failed initial permitting inspection due to preventable errors - Sales team initially pushed unnecessary expensive components - Needed escalation to CEO level to resolve communication issues - Required $26K upfront payment with minimal progress updates After paying our 50% deposit ($26K), we experienced weeks of silence and had to repeatedly chase for updates. Staff turnover was constant - we worked with at least 4 different representatives over a 4-month period. While they eventually offered a discount after escalation to leadership, the project management remained problematic through final permitting. The actual installation team was professional and the system works, but the overall experience was frustrating and time-consuming. Given our experience, potential customers should carefully consider other local installers who can provide more consistent project management and communication. read more

We just had a 14KW system installed by Green Ridge Solar and I could not be happier with the whole experience. They are a top notch company from start to finish. We had great communication through the whole process and they answered all of our questions in a very timely and straight forward manner. The whole project came together quickly; the longest wait was for Portland to issue the permit which took about 6 weeks. Once they had that, the installers were there within 24 hrs and did a very professional job. I would highly recommend these guys. In a time when a lot of solar companies are going under, these guys seem to have what it takes to be successful. I am so happy with this solar company! Greenridge did a great job with customer service, honoring their quote and managing to configure a solar array that works for my east/west roof. I tried having solar installed 2.5 years ago and the company was unable to make it work for my house. These folks are able to work their magic!
