Small neighborhood taproom that always has a great variety of delicious craft beer from the Northern California area as well as lots of bottles and cans for sale to take with you. The space is not large with inside and outside seating. There's also a couple of TVs and they always play sports when available. There's also a dog friendly vibe here where I always see at least a dog or two whenever I visit. It's one of the places where I like bringing my brother's dog to as well. The beer tenders are always great. Really chill people that are very friendly and knowledgeable about the beer. This review is way overdue because I've been going here for years and try to hit this place up every time I come visit family in the area. I would even say it's probably my favorite place to drink when visiting the area. There's plenty of parking usually and there's lots of eateries around. There are also some picnic tables outside. This tap room is known for the quality of the craft beer they serve. They also have a large selection of bottles and cans in the coolers. Always have an amazing selection of regional beers, they really know their beer which in my opinion cannot be said for a lot of other taprooms in the area. It's my go to spot to pick up cans from my favorite breweries (Alvarado St, Wonderous, Cellar Maker, Barebottle, Moon Raker, Santa Adarius etc... Very cool place with a wide variety of beers, including Pliny on tap. A bit small on the inside but the outside is big enough. Not too crowded, either. They don't have food here but are cool with you bringing whatever in. I would suggest the Indian Pizza place nearby. Nice service too. This is a great beer bar tucked down a little side street in a commercial complex. It's not a big place, but they have a very wide selection of beers and cider. If you can't decide on something, you can sample. Or, just ask as staff is always very friendly and they can offer suggestions. There are tables set up outside on the side of the bar and dogs are allowed. They also have TVs inside for all the sporting events. Great place to visit and have a beer. People behind the bar are friendly and will even help you with suggesting choices if needed. Every time I've been there it's been a good experience. No drunks, or loud boisterous people seeking attention, just people interacting with each other nicely. Dogs (and maybe cats?) come in with their owners and are well behaved, just like the patrons! There's no growling or out of control barking. If you want to just sit and enjoy a beer and tend to your business or just your thoughts without someone barking at the flat screen, cheering, clapping and making loud rude comments or acting out...this is the place. First things first: If you ever come here, you should definitely get (or sample) the Drake's Nyack Jack. It's barley wine aged in Jack Daniels's barrels, which is intriguing enough in itself, but the taste is something you've probably never tasted before in your life. The complexity is amazing, and it's probably the most unique drink I've ever tasted in my life. I really like this place. It's a no-frills kind of beer bar, with wooden benches and flat-screen televisions. There are a few bar stools too, which is nice if you want to chat with the bartender or some of the other patrons (everyone's super friendly!). The brews of the day are listed in big plaques on the wall, and you can always ask for samples if you're not sure which one to get. I really appreciate that the prices and percentages are listed right on the plaques, so everything's really clear. They also have beer flights, which comprise of four little taster cups. Prices are reasonable, the selection of beers is good, and the place is comfortable and clean.
