Just got a steak and cheese sub for takeout and it was just as good as the Gaithersburg location. I customized it by adding green peppers, cooked onions, lettuce, tomato, provolone and mayo. Meat was seasoned well and tender too. The large fries were generous which is always nice. If you are super hungry, just get this and you won't need to eat for a minimum of 6-8 hours. Horrible experience. I ordered an 18 pack of 12oz bottles thru uber eats. I only received a 12 pack. I contacted uber eats, they had me upload a photo, clearly showing the 12 pack. Beers and cheers contacted me directly and banned me from ordering from them. They were clearly in the wrong and stated they don't even carry 12 packs, which is a lie because it is even on their page. No customer should be treated that way. read more

Their chicken cheesesteaks are amazing. They are equivalent, if not better, than good ones in Philly. Philly is known for its hoagie rolls -- it's all about the bread. I'm surprised but I like Beers and Cheers Too better than this location. The selection of beers and stouts seemed smaller here than the sister location. Another negative was the size of the sandwich. I ordered the reuben sandwich and it was disappointing. I expected a layered sandwich where I could see the meat but instead I had to open up the sandwich and verify that meat was actually there. I was in the area and looking for my favorite kettle corn popcorn with old bay seasoning. Since I'm not going to beach in the near future. This is the only place in the area that carries it (as far as I know). They do carry good selections of beers and wines. It is more expensive the the ABC stores or county liquor stores. However, they have a nice clean layout and friend employees that will help you or make great recommendations. I didnt know that they made subs here. These guys are friendly in a disgruntled-old-man kind of way. I'm happy to go into a "beer/wine/deli" where everybody speaks English and can make a great sandwich. Seriously, the real hidden gem here is the food. They make great sandwiches. Call in your order as there is often a wait. They make subs the way they are supposed to be made. The beer and wine selection is excellent. The prices are high. Everything seems a couple dollars more to me than I can find it elsewhere. They'll handle keg orders for you as well which is a a nice local benefit. Not a lot of stores do that or do it well. So, go here just because it is one of the few "beer/wine/delis" in MoCo that ACTUALLY serves good beer, good wine and good sandwiches...you know how most of them look. Most of them look like a 7-11 with a beer/wine license and they all sell the exact same sh*t and have that dirty little Keno counter in the corner, and a deli counter you'd be afraid to eat from. This is my favorite lunch spot in Germantown. The subs are the best you can get in town and are reasonably priced. Plus, the beer selection is top notch. I like to pick up an Italian cold cut and ask the owner about new local beers so I can pick out some cans to take home and enjoy later. I saw the revues so decided to try it. I ordered a half Italian and a small fries. The Sub was a bit small but it was obvious the ingredients were fresh and the meat was good. The roll had a nice proper crust on it and it was chewy as it should be. The small fries was a nice generous serving, fresh, hot and crisp. I didn't need any ketchup or anything else on them. I stumbled upon this place by accident. Some friends had just finished helping us move and we decided pay them in pizza and beers. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised at the wide variety of craft beers and cleverly monikered wines they carried. I went to the counter to pay for my items and noticed that directly behind the cashier was a small kitchen. I checked out the menu and decided to get a steak and cheese and fries (with three hungry guys waiting in the car, I had very little chance of getting a crack at that pizza!). The sandwich was huge and really tasty. Bonus points because they bake their own bread (and it doesn't cut your mouth up when you eat it!). The fries tasted both old and overcooked: Full of grease but lacking in flavor. I'll avoid those next time. Since we just moved, we definitely need to refill our wine rack. I love wines with cute names and cleverly entertaining or aesthetically appealing labels. This place has plenty of both. They also sell my beloved Jam Jar Shiraz!! So I went to Beers and Cheers because they have a wide selection of beer and wine. (They also make great subs). They have 6 packs, 12 packs, cases, pony kegs, half kegs and kegs. Typical. But they have an area where you can create your own 6 packs, selecting from a wide range of beers and ales from all over the world. It was very cool picking through the beers and creating a gift 6 pack. That said, the cheapest beer was $2.99, the most expensive was $10.99. I think it's a but much for something you only borrow, but the gift went over well. The staff was friendly, the place is clean and the selections very good. read more

So I finally caved in and went here for the sandwiches. Right when you walk in there's a counter where you can order. It's a little on the pricier side, but the sandwiches are generous on the meat. I got the cheesesteak with peppers, onions, provolone, and mayo. I was very happy with it as well as the old bay fries which were piping hot and fresh. Basically I'm gonna be back anytime I want a cheesesteak in this area. As far as drinks go, they have pepsi products in a cooler off to the left hand side, and it's only 50 cents to add a soda if you get fries and a sandwich. They also have birch beer cans which is a definite plus. This is a beer and wine store, so they have plenty of selection to choose from, including Hoop Tea which I haven't found anywhere else after I had tried it at a festival a couple years ago. GREAT craft beer selection. I love that they put it front and center, and I didn't even notice any of the "big three" (miller, coors, AB) anywhere on the floor. You can "make your own 6 pack" from a good selection of beers (and you get 10% off the beers when you do so). I bought several beers here, and he gave me discounts on everything I bought. Very kind. I must add... when I was browsing the beer selections (while he was looking for a specific beer for me in the back), he sang VERY loudly so the whole store could hear. It was hilarious. So the staff are always friendly and inviting but the prices not so much. I came in and bought a 24-pack of Heineke and it was in the $35 range. I know things are often inflated but that was a bit absurd. I would have given a 5-star had the prices been a bit more economical. Great wine selection. I found a rosé I've been searching for since 2009. I was VERY excited to see many types of Dogfish Head! No other store in the area has this type of selection (that I know of) - not even the shoddy county-owned liquor stores.
