Ordered pick-up tonight - inedible! 1. Build your own burger ($18) - ordered with American cheese, lettuce & tomato. Arrived over cooked, no lettuce, onions & bacon. 2. Creamy basil chicken penne ($26) - Arrived with an absurd amount of peas. No basil, no pesto, no flavor. 3. Fish & Chips ($24) - Fish waaaaayyyyy over cooked. So over cooked you couldn't tell what it was. 4. Yum Yum Shrimp ($15) - Over cooked and for $15 we only got 6 shrimp. 5. Ribs full rack ($34) - These were OK, but no sides. We have dined/ordered here many times but tonigt was unacceptable.

Came here after enjoying The Clarks Lodge (a sister restaurant). The menus appear identical or close to it. The food here is terrible and they're understaffed. The fish in the fish and chips was very overcooked.

This was our first time dining here and we had perfect weather to eat outside. I waitress our server was very nice. They were not very familiar with the menu and did not know that mussels existed on the menu. I switched my order to get the muscles and the crab dip. The crab dip was very thick cream cheese. It had a nice flavor, but very heavy and not a lot of crab. It was mixed in very finely. The muscles were nice size and a good portion. The broth was a marinara sauce, which had a nice flavor. I found I had eight unopened muscles in my bowl. It made me question why so many were not opened after being cooked finally my fiancé got the ribeye steak. The vegetables and potatoes were delicious. The steak however, needed a lot of help. It actually tasted like gasoline flame broil, and the flavor was awful. We did not complain, but should have. I'm not sure about coming back. I really like their other establishment grill Marx iin Olney. If you like, live music, they offer that here.

It was my husband and I's first time. We had an amazing experience with Darwin our bartender. He made us feel very welcomed and constantly checked in on us to make sure we are okay. He is an amazing bartender and overall chill and down to earth person. We were welcomed the minute we walked in and sat down. Our drinks were amazing and we were so thankful for the service. We got onion rings and they were delicious. We got to meet Sam the owner and he was very kind and welcoming. We love the ambiance. We are so happy we made this stop and we will be back again. Thank you so much for an amazing first experience. If you're in the area please come check them out and support them.

Went in about 5 mins ago. The receptionist gave us no eye contact and told us they were booked. For the night. While there's about 10 more tables in the back, the pictures are from the front of the restaurant. On a Tuesday. Does it look packed? Went to Burton's across the street.

Bar and Grill located in Kentlands. I came by because they offer Happy Hour from Sunday through Friday, 3:30-6:30 which are great times. I tried 3 appetizers from the Happy Hour menu and they tasted great, portions are reasonable as well. Drink selection is also great as shown in the picture included. Service was good as my waiter was super attentive, never had an issue asking for something. My only complaint is that when I was here they did not play the music loud enough throughout the restaurant so it felt like you could hear everyone's conversations... I'm sure if it's busier it wouldn't be an issue. I will be returning to try other items.

I visited during Happy Hour, but seemed to have ordered from the dinner menu. Sat at the bar and tried the Swedish Meat Balls. It is described as tender meat balls freshly made with ground beef tossed in creamy lemon and thyme sauce. It was okay. I was not a fan of the creamy lemon sauce. I also had a Chocolate Martini - described as having Vanilla vodka, Godiva chocolate liqueur, and Kahlua. This drink is not sweet, but rather strong. I am a fan of Martini's but will have to try a different drink on my next visit. Service was great. 3.5 stars Visited June 2024

Had a late lunch/early dinner here on a Sunday afternoon. A friend asked for the WNBA finals to be put on a tv and they were so kind and accommodating - they changed one of the TVs By the bar to the game AND changed a tv by our table to the game. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Our waiter refilled my water glass countless times. My bbq grilled chicken sandwich was perfect - not too much bbq sauce. The onion rings were so good I ate them all. The decor fits the theme and the beer menu looks like a lot of great options. What a delightful experience for my first visit to Brews and Barrels.

The place has a warm, comfortable feel--nice décor, good lighting, and enough space that it never feels cramped. I've been for both the lunch buffet and regular dinner, and the food has been consistently good. Their butter chicken is reliably creamy and well-seasoned, the garlic naan comes out soft and fresh, and the lunch buffet has a solid rotation of dishes that actually hold up under the heat lamps. Nothing is trying to reinvent the wheel, but everything tastes the way you hope it will. Service has always been friendly and attentive in my experience. They're good about checking in without hovering, and they've been helpful when I've asked questions about spice levels or recommendations. It's not the most adventurous Indian restaurant in the DMV, but for a local spot that's convenient, consistent, and doesn't disappoint, Royal Tandoor does the job well. It's the kind of place I end up recommending to friends and family when they ask for a reliable option close by.

The rolls that I ordered were of good quality, and the sushi boat was fresh and incredible. Great portions too, and everyone in my party was satisfied with the food. Unfortunately I did find two fish scales in one of the sushi boat's nigiri, and that could have been rough since someone in my party has a lot of trouble chewing. I was offered a $10 discount, but the system wouldn't allow it to be stacked with another discount that someone else in my party originally had. I asked for the existing discount to be removed so that it could be used on another visit, but the server misunderstood me and ran that one instead of the discount we were offered that day for the mishap. By the time I figured out that there was a mistake, we didn't have time to correct it due to personal schedules. I've enjoyed most of my experiences with Kusshi over the years, but I do hope that they'll figure out a way to ensure that their sushi doesn't have inedible extras.

The only downside of the experience is at the end when the waiter was boxing up all the food for us. Very sweet that they do this but when boxing up my partners food, they only boxed up the rice and they got rid of the lamb that he was looking forward to eating more of later. The Cannon Room is a small cocktail bar tucked away in the back of The Pendry and is easily one of my favorite places to grab a drink in Fells Point. Only open after 5pm, it makes for a perfect predinner stop, especially if you are a bourbon fan. Their bourbon selection is seriously impressive, with everything from approachable pours to rare bottles that climb well into the triple digits. They also offer curated bourbon flights that change depending on availability, which is a great way to try something new. The decor deserves just as much attention as the drinks. The room is filled with warm wood accents and subtle Baltimore nautical theming that gives the space a really immersive feel. The centerpiece is the historic cannon that was dredged up from the harbor during construction of the hotel and is now displayed beneath the floor as you enter the bar. Service has always been 10/10. The bartenders clearly take pride in the craft of making cocktails and have the bourbon knowledge to back up the impressive bottle collection.
