We've been taking our little guy Koa here for quite some time now and they do a lovely job. The lobby area is always very clean and the staff is welcoming. I have a Yorkie Pom mix that we used to take to Petsmart and he'd leave in such a hurry . I can tell by Koa's behavior that he enjoys his time here even though he can be a bit of a busy body. Love this groomer! I have four little chocolate poodles, and the convenience of not taking them to a groomer, then waiting for a call to pick them up, is well worth it. Plus, they are not caged for hours and hours, which is so much less stressful for them. The staff are accommodating, friendly, professional and on time. I took my dog, Ellie, here for grooming recently and was so impressed! I have been shopping around for a groomer who I feel does a great job and had been sticking with a nearby sub-par groomer just to get the job done. Two times in a row I dropped my dogs off at the appointment time and was told it would take no longer than 4 hours. Both times I called at the 4 hour mark and was told the groomer was just starting with the first dog. After the first incident I asked them to please call me if they were running late again and I would pick up the dogs and return when the groomer was ready for them. Same thing happened today with no apologies. Just an "OK" when I told her I would not be returning. Will be finding a new groomer. read more

We pulled up and it looked very nice from the exterior (premium looking outdoor mall-type area). It didn't say anywhere on the site that appointments were mandatory, though it did have a spot to make an appointment, we didn't think it would be necessary. We arrived 2 hours prior to them closing and simply wanted to get a bath and nail clipping for our Boston Terrier. The girl at the desk (mind you, there are no other clients in the building and she's just sitting there) says that we have to make an appointment if it's after 3. Would've been nice if their website would've said that, but we apologized and asked if there's anyway they could fit him in today in the next 2 hours (again, it's dead, she's just sitting there at the desk doing nothing). She responds "Let me ask my boss," so she texts and almost immediately says "Nope, she said I can't do it, sorry! You'll have to come back." Okay, so you're open for another two hours, you're doing nothing, your site doesn't say that it's by appointment only, and then your boss supposedly told you to continue doing nothing for the next 2 hours? It was a let down, as the facility looked fantastic, but that's just bad customer service and honestly bad business practice, aren't you in the business to wash dogs and make money? Took my 60 lb rescue mutt there to get her nails clipped. now, she isn't super thrilled with getting her nails clipped so I was hoping a professional could handle her. This was not the place. First of all, they had a shitzu loose in the front area, so it took off as soon as I opened the door, much to the horror of her owner. (She was thankfully safely caught). But as I'm being signed in, one of the girls starts yelling at a small dog that's in a crate because she started whining. At this point I am honestly hesitant about letting them touch my dog, but I figure based on the reviews, that maybe they are just having an off day. Nope. They take her into a back room, start loudly swearing when my poor dog gets terrified an poops on the table, and then bring her back out to me with nothing done, but covered in poop. I've used Befur and After since they purchased the location from Wiggly Butts. I've always been very clear about expectations regarding cut, nails, etc. My dog is a "senior" and has extreme anxiety and does not tolerate being caged very well. These points are always discussed prior to making an appointment. Unfortunately, the past 3 appointments have been terrible and the staff at Befur and After did not honor their commitments. Today, I arrived promptly for the scheduled appointment and confirmed pick up for 1.5-2 hours later. After 2 hours, I called to get make sure my dog was ready-no answer, so I left a message. Another hour passed and I called again-no answer, left another message. After 3.5 hours and no returned calls, I went to pick my up my dog only to discover they kept her in a cage for 3.5 hours and never started the grooming process. The staff didn't even have the professional courtesy or human decency to answer the phone or return the 2 voicemails I left. The last 3 appointments have been similar, even though each time we've been promised "it won't happen again." Three strikes. You're out. We'll find another groomer that runs an honest and ethical business and understands how to schedule appointments and manage time appropriately. If you can't start the grooming process at the scheduled time, DO NOT MAKE THE APPOINTMENT. read more

I have a very hyper puppy who won't sit still for more than 2 seconds. I brought him in and he come smelling good and looking good. I don't know how they did it but they did it and they did it good. Porsche was his groomer and she was awesome. I loved that when I got him home he didn't smell like a kennel but like a fresh, clean pup and for that reason I'll definitely be bringing him back. read more

I had been taking my five-pound Chihuahua here to have her nails trimmed, but I will never take her there again. Evidently, some incompetent fool was hired and left her one of her paw pads bloodied after using the grinder. The owner of the business seemed sorry about it, but the idiot who did this seem to have no remorse or concern. I will take her elsewhere and this time make sure the same person trims her nails each visit, and more importantly, I will be present at all time. No more letting the groomer go behind a closed door and taking chances the person is behaving responsibly. read more

They don't hold the appointment time. They changed the price from what I accepted when I booked the appointment. I dropped off my shitzu at 12:30 and picked him up after 5pm. Petsmart didn't have any open slots, so I would give them a 2nd chance. Never again. He had matted hair before and Petsmart still completed him within 2 hours. Never again. Took my older large dog to be groomed today. I was very pleased how he was treated and taken care of. Usually he seems very skiddish and tired after being groomed, he seemed very relaxed when I picked him up today. I have found a perfect place to take my dogs from now on. read more

We took our sheltie there for grooming on a Monday and they did a great job. Took our shepherd mix there on Wednesday and didn't look like anything had been done. One of their "dog bathers" had groomed her and did a terrible job. Took her back and they cleaned her up, so ok. Next time we took our sheltie, I guess one of their "bathers" got ahold of her again cause she looked worse than when I dropped her off . They used a shampoo that removed a lot of her undercoat, thank God, cause she was shedding everywhere! But they did little else, and she just looked like a complete ragamuffin because they did nothing at all the overcoat. She just looked so ragged - worst shes ever looked, and she's a cute little pure-bred sheltie. I wish I could go there because it's about a 45 second drive from our home, but I'm not wasting any more money there. Make sure you know your groomer and ask for them by name. I came here a little while back, while my husband was out of town. I did not write the review because I didn't think it was necessary however my husband said it is needed to be said so that's why I am writing this about a little less than a month after I came. I have a 4 year old shih tzu who the groomer who did him did an amazing job. He looked great. The last time I got him groomed (somewhere else) he looked awful, anyway I gave this place a try and like I said the groomer who did him did a great job. However the reason I am not giving them 5 stars and why I will never go back is because of the environment there. When I first walked in there was a groomer sitting down in the back talking over the girl who was going to do my baby and quite frankly it was rude as was her attitude. I don't know if she was the manager or the owner of the store but she made me feel like my groomer did not know what she was doing and I did not feel like I could trust her with my dog. Still I gave her a chance and when I came back (after 5 hours of waiting) my baby boy looked amazing. Again the lady in the back kept talking over my groomer and did not sound friendly at all. I wish I knew who did my dog and when she worked because I would come back for her, but since I don't, I will not be coming back. I feel like if I am going to walk into a salon, I don't want to feel the tension. read more

Let me begin by stating I have used this business twice, the first time they did n excellent job! Ashley was very attentive to my puppies (2 Maltesse) It is a bit out of my way but I was off that day so it was not an issue. They did such a great job that when it was time to be done again I of course went back for a 2nd time. This time not so great. I dropped the girls at about 730 as had been previously arranged. (was working that day) They were to be bathed, cut, nails, ears, anal glands expressed, etc. I didn't pick them until around 445 that afternoon. ( My receipt on my phone shows me the time I got them) As I was driving home as petting them I noticed the smaller one had a sticky snout....also she had eye matter ...I called right away and spoke with Ashley. When I questioned her about it, I found out they had been "washed" (and I use the term loosely) before she had arrived. It was then that I questioned if they had been bathed at all. I knew they didn't smell as fresh as the first time, and a sticky snout and eye matter certainly doesn't make me feel as if they were washed mor at the very least washed well. They did offer for me to bring them back and redo the groom which I refused because 1- too far out of my way and 2-why would I take my babies back to someone I feel like neglected them she then offered 1/2 the next grooming to which I again declined because again....I wont take them back due to the previous mentioned reasons she then offered to refund my money and said she would have to speak with the owner, David. David then called and we had about the same conversation. He did agree to refund my money however I did voice my concerns of the appearance of his bather not being professional and he then hung up and now will not return my calls and has not refunded my money and has stated on the Befur and After fb page when I posted something there that he wasn't going to, So I just want everyone to know that they did a poor on on my babies and they went back on their word to me read more
