    Pork chop rice platter

I've been here a few times and they have been consistently delicious with all the dishes, such as Vietnamese beef for a noodles and appetizer crispy shrimp with sweet sauce. Their special hot stone pot is the one and only in town, super unique concept to eat your beef noodle soup. It comes with a variety of fresh meat that you can dip into the stone pot as you eat to keep the noodles fresh and boiling hot. Definitely worth every bite is delicious and the broth has great depth of flavors and sweetness from of the slow cook of the pork bones which makes flavorful. Ambiance is modern and inviting! Service is quick and super friendly! Highly recommend this gem if you're craving authentic Vietnamese food!

Came here for dinner. The place retained the interior of the previous restaurant which is good, the design is beautiful and the space is welcoming. For appetizer, we got the fresh spring rolls with shrimp and chicken plus peanut sauce. It was good. For the mains, I got the Chicken Pho. Excellent broth, perfect with the cold weather. My husband ordered the Lemongrass Chicken. I super enjoyed the lemongrass chicken, it was very tasty! We both agree though, that the protein portion was on the small side. Overall, we can't wait to come back and try other items in the menu.

I highly recommend this place! The food is fresh and hot, the service is excellent, and it is convenient to where I live. The bao buns with pork belly were hot, soft, full of flavor, and recommend by the waitress. The pancit with shrimp was the perfect portion, and it was loaded with bell peppers, onions, carrots, shrimp, cilantro, and noodles. I'm glad that I stopped by for lunch on a Sunday, and it wasn't super crowded or loud.

I was a first time visitor, and I really love this place! My mother has been looking for good Pho, and Zen was recommended by a Yelp colleague, Alanna. I'm glad I trusted our Yelp community with this excellent referral. While my mother loved the Pho, it's not really my style, so I had the Zen fried rice with pork which was absolutely delicious! I tried it first as-is, and then added a little Sriracha for some added flavor - It was delicious both ways. The menu is quite vast with plenty of selections for those who love authentic Vietnamese food, as well as those who are looking for something more neutral. Service was absolutely wonderful - I wish I remember the young man's name who helped us, since he was so kind. The setting is attractive and modern, and there are plenty of seating options including booths, tables, and a bar seating area. The quality of food is excellent, and the portions are quite large and they were kind enough to offer to-go containers at the end of our meal. Pricing was quite reasonable, averaging about $30 per person, including tip, tax, and drinks. Free parking is plentiful in the lot - my advice is that if you're coming across Racetrack road from the east, the Google directions are incorrect telling you to turn left a bit too early. Overall, a wonderful experience, very close to most of the Jacksonville Southside as well as Nocatee, Durbin Park, etc. We'll certainly be back.

My husband recently found this restaurant while looking for a good Pho place for his mother. I am really glad he did because it was great! The ambiance is also really nice. The menu offers about ten appetizers, ten rice bowls, ten Pho dishes, and a few other dishes. I opted for the sizzling platter. It came with beef tenderloin, onions, scallions and peppers in a garlic sauce, along with white rice and cucumbers and tomatoes. It looked and tasted great. My husband had the Zen fried rice bowl with pork. He also loved his dish. My mother-in-law had the first Pho bowl on the menu. She loved it. Service was fairly quick. I have a feeling we will be back.

Glad we got an actual good pho spot in St John's 210 area! Ordered the summer rolls with chicken and shrimp which were just as good as I've had at most pho spots. Tried their pho dac biet and was not disappointed. It only comes in one size which is large. The portions of meat were generous and the brisket was especially tender and delicious. It's a little pricier than the average pho joint but everything in this county is extra so I get it. Overall, had a nice meal. This may be my new go-to pho spot since it's literally eight minutes from the house. Great addition to the neighborhood.

What a great addition to our area! Always have loved Vietnamese Pho (pronounced "fa") but it was not easy to find in Northwest St John's County. That changed recently with Zen Pho and Noodles opening on CR2209. H enjoyed the fresh shrimp spring rolls and ribeye pho and ordered a side of veggies with it. They brewed a pot of fresh jasmine tea and we watched as many patrons came in to enjoy this tasty eatery. Sweet server and active management. We will be back!

We have been eating pho for years. Moving here from TX we struggled to find a good place. After going to other places closest to our home we noticed this place opening near us. We are amazed at the options available to choose from! It's the first order and we are already making this our go to place! Definitely worth trying! Flavor is on point! We did takeout and the portions are perfect. We will be back soon!

    Pho Tai Nam

Went to their soft opening last night and the food was fantastic! The service was friendly and quick considering they are still prepping for a full opening. The food came out at a good time, not too fast not too slow. Speaking of food, AMAZING! The Pho Tai Nam was great l, the broth tasted exactly how I like it and it was a decent size for the price. I had the Pad Thai (only note is that I expected to be asked how spicy I want it, it had zero spice - next time I will ask for it to be spicy). Ambiance felt modern, like a hangout spot for younger crowd more than a date night or family dinner spot. But we did see some families & dates lol. It's a spacious place with bar seating too. We will be back soon!!!

    The understatement of the year!!

I usually stick to only hot pot because grilling and hot pot at the same time is too much for me. My go-to broths are herbal or pork bone. The broth is always flavorful and tasty and comforting. With the sauce station, I can customize my dipping sauce as well as adding it to the soup to bring it to the spice level I like. My friend got spicy sichuan, which she can handle the spicy. It is also good but I would go with Korean seafood if I wanted medium spicy. I like the many food options they offer which even includes shrimp with or without the head and snow crab legs. The revolving veggies and noodles are so convenient and fun. I like to get in my leafy greens - they have bok choy, lettuce, napa cabbage, snow pea tips, and water cress (when they have it). It is also nice that they offer different flavors of ice cream in a cup or waffle cone for dessert. Perfect ending to a meal. The service was good and they recently upgraded to electric payment at the table which makes it even more efficient when you're ready to go. Until next time!

Hubs & son love wings. I do not. They're messy, and I don't usually like to eat chicken skin…read more Bonchon may have changed my mind. Visiting my son & DIL this past weekend, both of my son's dining suggestions were wing-focused. But my vegetarian DIL (she eats some seafood) seemed to be more interested in Bonchon than the other potential spot, so I took her side to make our choice. I can usually find something to eat on any menu, in spite of my immature palette, and Bonchon was no exception. In fact, there are several other things I want to try now! We started with the Korean Cucumber Salad & Bao Buns with Pork Belly. No one that knows me will be surprised that the cucumber salad was much too hot for me. But here is something unexpected... I loved the cole slaw on the Bao Bun, and the sauces were complementary enough that the spice level was fine for me. I would definitely order the Bao Buns again, and try the other meats. For my meal, I ordered the Bibimbap with Bulgogi, and really enjoyed it. Their marinated beef was very tasty, and of course I love an egg on just about anything. Another (non)shock, I did not care for the Bibimbap Sauce because it was rather hot; I appreciated that it was served on the side. Hubs said the mushrooms & caramelized onions were very good, but I didn't eat either. Then I tried a Classic Crunch drumstick, and fell in love! Yes, I bit into it like y'all do, and ate the skin, too. What a delicious piece of chicken! I didn't even need a dipping sauce (& I can't remember what the boys chose anyway). My son insisted that I'd enjoy a Korean BBQ wing also, and I'm sure I would, but I was already getting full. Next time! Also for my next visit, my DIL got a Mopo Corndog as her appetizer (though she also ate a lot of the cucumber salad), and it looked amazing! The name was confusing (to me), but there is no hot dog inside, so I want to try one. Fried mozzarella & potato cubes! They have two versions, so of course I want to try both; although I'm rather skeptical about the sugar-cinnamon coating, I'm anticipating an unexpectedly delicious bite. Service was fantastic, although they weren't very busy yet on this Saturday evening. Our server was very attentive & friendly, and none of us waited for a new drink or refill. My son & DIL evidently visit often, so I'm sure we'll return. I wish we had a Bonchon location closer to us!

The side dishes were very flavorful, and I also purchased two drinks that were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided good customer service throughout my visit. The only thing is that they told me that they do not clean tripe in Korea which was hard to believe. I do want to share a concern regarding the preparation of the tripe soup. After beginning the meal, I noticed that the tripe did not appear to have been cleaned. At first, I wondered if this was simply the restaurant's style of preparation, but after researching further, I learned that improperly cleaned tripe can be both unpleasant and potentially unsafe to consume because tripe comes from the stomach lining of the animal. Uncleaned tripe may still contain food residue, digestive material, parasites, worms, bacteria, and strong bile or waste odors. This can potentially lead to issues such as foul smell, unpleasant taste, food poisoning, bacterial contamination including E. coli or Salmonella, and symptoms such as stomach cramps, vomiting, or diarrhea. Proper cleaning is generally considered an essential part of preparing tripe, especially in professional restaurants where customers would quickly notice if the cleaning process was incomplete. Overall, I appreciated the kindness of the staff, the quality of the drinks, and the excellent side dishes. I am only sharing my personal experience and concern specifically regarding the preparation of the tripe soup.
