Don't know if can see but this is soggy and pretty damn nasty.

Took one hour 10 min to get delivered. Was 2 min from canceling the order. And I should have instead of taking the food. Still warm but both dishes soggy as shit. One sesame chicken. The other shrimp and broccoli. Both tasteless. I live 5 min away in carlstadt. They also say it's fried rice. Looks more brown. Which I'm fine with. But not my mother.

I had the chicken and broccoli. I ordered from Grubhub and the delivery was fast. The food wasn't bad at all. I compare them to dumpling which is right across the street and I would say Beijing Chinese restaurant is better as far as the chicken and broccoli with white rice goals. I haven't had anything else from them but I appreciated the fast GrubHub delivery.

My go to chinese restaurant when I'm cheating on my diet and craving for rice :)

Nasty "sauteed" string beans in black tar-like sauce.

My answer is always an immediate, "OMGOSH YES," and we know exactly where we're going -- Soba Noodle Azuma. We always get the cold soba combo, LARGE PLEASE. The soba is just SOOO good -- the right chew, the right temperature, the right texture, and the right amount. I used to get the small, now I get the large, but if I can't finish it, my husband will. We've gotten the combos with salmon sashimi, katsu, curry, chicken egg bowl, and the beef bowl. All were good, just depends on what you're craving that day for a little extra something on the side from your soba. And we ALWAYS get their cucumber appetizer. We love our cucumber apps, so we usually get it at every restaurant if it's on the menu, but azuma makes it THE BEST. We also had their okonomiyaki one time. It was really good and very filling, but I feel like it was over-sauced (but im also not a "saucey" type of person). They have other great things on their menu that we want to try, but we just can't get enough of their soba! They're BYOB, so that's a nice little perk if you want to have some light drinks during lunch or dinner. I want to go there with some sake one night and try all of their appetizers. Also, it's easy on the wallet for such good food and it's so filling. Great food, great value, nice casual and cozy atmosphere. The servers are straightforward and polite. There's street parking right in front if you can snag one, and there's also parking at the municipal parking area.

Their udon is the best and soup is full of flavors you can tell they make it there. I always get their Azuma Gozen, and although I notice the quantity of each side dish decreasing very slightly, it's still a wonderful mix. Also had takoyaki, you get 5 pieces it's amazing and soft too Service is respectful and amazing. The overall music and design of the place is relaxing. I felt like it was winter again sitting there.

I started with the cold marinated chicken gizzards. The gizzards were excellent. I'm not sure what they were marinated in, but they were very savory, and had just a tiny bit of a kick to them. The second order was the tomato beef rice noodle soup. The dish actually came in two separate containers. The noodles on top, and then the soup underneath. The tomato broth was very savory, and the tomatoes were poached in the broth. The beef and the pickled vegetables were excellent. There were several different types of beef, they were all tender and delicious. I've had this type of rice noodle soup before, and this one was absolutely top-of-the-line. I had enough for a second serving, which I will probably have for breakfast. I will order here again. Thank you.

Decided to try an order for delivery via GrubHub and compare dishes with two separate noodles, based on what they recommended for each best for delivery: Beijing Bolo with a fermented black bean ground pork sauce, a.k.a. Zhejiang Mien, including Size #2 pressed noodles thick like udon, scallions, and cilantro, plus Cold Sesame Noodles utilizing handpulled lagman. Both dishes I ordered medium spicy. The Beijing Bolo came in a bowl, while I needed to plate the Cold Sesame dish. Both were flavorful with tender noodles. Next time, more likely to go in person over delivery, and explore other dishes on their menu. It's a great option particularly for this neighborhood! My dish had mostly oxtail tip ends so it's not a lot of meat on them, but the sauce is so flavorful and it's also in the bones. Yummy yum. Overall, I had enough bits of meat with the noodles and noodles leftover. Would I want an all-around meatier thicker cuts for extra? Maybe. I also got extra beef protein on the side for the rest of my noodles for later. That was yummy too. So glad that oxtail is returning to the menu. My friends also tried it and liked it as well. This location has seatings in the back. It gets crowded during prime lunch time, but more available at night. A few tables are blocked off too. They also have a long ledge table parallel to the kitchen to stand and eat quickly. It's a tight space, but it works.

I wish it was a bit more fermented for my personal taste, but I really appreciate not having to keep asking for refills like at other places. The fried dumplings are a must order! The filling was super juicy and packed with flavor, honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We also ordered the classic yukgaejang kalguksu and the ox bone soup, and both were incredibly flavorful.
