I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

Pauline was there to help with taking kids on a hike, craft making activities and a trip to the river for fishing. The small hike was manageable. Craft making was a way for kids to be creative. Fishing for krill and toads was a way for the kids to burn excess energy. Bring sunscreen and lotsa bug repellent! Such a fun event outdoors and a learning experience even for the adults!

We've been to a few discovery museums (mostly in California) but this one particularly impressed me. The staff was constantly sanitizing the toys and touch surfaces (literally, we would leave an activity and then the worker would spray down everything we had touched). I also liked that they had baskets for people to place toys that needed to be sanitized. Very impressive, and we felt very safe. You could spend HOURS in this place-- especially if your kids want to perform a few plays for you in the theater exhibit. All 3 of my kids loved this place and I wish we had arrived earlier because it was closing time before we knew it. I think this would make for an especially great visit on a bad weather day and/pr when your kids want a break from the beach or pool. If your hotel room isn't ready yet it would be a good way to let kiddos burn off some energy after a long flight too. If you have young kids I would say this is a MUST VISIT. The exhibits do such a great job celebrating the many communities that make Hawaii unique. It's educational without feeling like a lesson, and I appreciated the thought that went into it. Everything was sooo cute!! There are also areas for younger children to explore, creative play spaces, climbing and movement activities, and plenty of exhibits that engage their curiosity. It felt like every corner had something new to discover. I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't a time limit on our visit. The holiday open farm day was a delightful experience, featuring delicious hot cocoa, soothing live music with singing and guitar, and a creative ornament-making station stocked with paint, stickers, tape, and bells. We wrapped up our day with a $10 basket brimming with freshly picked vegetables--eggplant, vibrant carrots, fragrant cilantro, fresh basil, and a variety of kale. Keiki Kingdom has made some fantastic upgrades to its indoor play area! They've added a mini…read morezipline, trampolines, an elevated ropes course (with height requirements and safety harnesses), additional slides, a climbing wall, foam blocks, and so much more. Our kids had an absolute blast, and seeing how much fun they had made the experience just as enjoyable for us as parents. The new attractions offer plenty to keep children active, entertained, and engaged. We'll definitely be bringing our kids back and highly recommend Keiki Kingdom to family and friends looking for a fun indoor adventure!

Everything feels connected, there's plenty for kids of different ages to do and my kids had an absolute blast. I also appreciate that the parking lot is gated. Given the area, that extra layer of security makes arriving with young children feel much more comfortable. But once you stop looking at the design and start looking at the details, the experience begins to fall apart. Cleanliness needs work. The tunnels had an unpleasant odor, parts of the facility smelled musty, the bathrooms felt sticky and the locker area was warm with little ventilation. The air conditioning also seemed inadequate. On a busy afternoon the building became uncomfortably warm and several vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Maintenance is another issue. Too many attractions were out of service during our visit. The popcorn machine wasn't working, one of the slides was closed, part of the climbing area was unavailable, the TV displays were damaged and several machines throughout the building were either broken or empty. When you're paying premium admission for a family, it's disappointing to find so much of the facility unavailable. The front desk also left a poor first impression. We were required to purchase Keiki Kingdom socks even though we already had socks from another indoor playground. I understand having policies, but when you're asking families to spend more money before they even walk in, it would be nice to mention that several attractions are currently unavailable. That feels like the fair thing to do. I also wish there were more staff actively walking the play areas. Not to babysit children, but simply to help keep the space clean, notice maintenance issues and step in when kids are playing unsafely. That visible presence would make a big difference. The frustrating part is that all of these issues are fixable. The foundation is excellent. The design is better than most indoor playgrounds I've visited and my kids genuinely loved their time there. But a great concept deserves better upkeep, better maintenance, and more attention to the customer experience. We'll probably be back because the kids had fun. I just hope next time the facility lives up to the quality of its design.

If any of you hunting for an awesome gem playground amongst Hawaii's unusually monotonous offerings of playgrounds, you will be no doubt read the 5-Star reviews and start heading there straight away with kid in car seat. Well, is it Shangri-La? or a mirage? Simply put: If you do not have a military pass--it is indeed inaccessible to you. Do not try. As I did. You and your kid will end up having to retreat to Keehi Lagoon Beach Park and lick your wounds at the solid/adequate playground there. Yea, we did try to drive to Sand Park. And no amount of cuteness from our 2 year old could deter the rifle wielding guards from accessing their private playground! A foreign national would have had a lot easier time sneaking onto Mar-a-Lago while a president golfed there. The base guard, smartly, held on to my ID as we navigated the turn around to leave--and only gave my Civilian ID back to me once I was pointed in the right direction--back towards Nimitz underpass, where i had come from. I've heard from others this place is awesome. But be sure to go with one of our hard working military friends if you actually want to arrive there. :) And also, it may be an observation, but perhaps most of the playgrounds in Hawaii seem to be one of two pre-set versions of a playground. As if we got a bulk discount for buying Playground A, B, and nothing more. Perhaps the military bases had a different contractor--thus why they may have something new/different compared to the normal parks?
