Second day in Laramie, we're glad we made this stop! The food was good! Friendly service. It was supposed to be a light lunch stop, we enjoyed the food so much, it was filling. It was quiet and gave a nice vibe.

This place is to die for!! I've always been obsessed with Asian culture and food, and shall I say this place is phenomenal. The food is amazing. My best friend and I were walking the town and decided to stop there just because. Now it's our favorite restaurant! My girlfriend became a big fan of the restaurant because of me taking her there. I don't have any complaints, really. It's definitely worth the time and money.

I'm really happy that Laramie now has a place to get a good noodle soup! I got the pork black garlic ramen and besides a super overcooked egg, it had great flavor and lots of yummy noodles. I found the sushi to be just ok (I tried a Philadelphia roll, my go-to) with a lot of rice and a little too much of everything. However, my friend really enjoyed the Arkansas and California tempura rolls, so it might just be dependent on the roll and the person. The prices are about what you'd find anywhere else as the American economy crumbles, so no complaints there. The service was also better than I expected as the American service field crumbles as well. The tables are a bit close to each other so definitely not an intimate vibe, but I'm pretty sensitive to sound and didn't find it to be too loud. All in all, I'd come back here for ramen and perhaps to try their poke, but probably not for sushi.

One of the best Ramen I have ever tasted. Authentic flavor of food, great service. Ordered more food but ate them before we snapped a picture. We ordered 3 different types of ramen and 2 rolls. Hopefully will be going back soon.

This visit, we ordered the Watermelon Gazpacho (GF), Beef Short Rib Anticucho (GF), and Ensalada de Manzana y Manchego (GF). The Beef Short Rib Anticucho was the star of the meal, at least for me, I honestly wanted more because it was so good! The salad was also delicious and, while definitely more apple-heavy than greens, they were happy to accommodate my request for extra greens. My only criticism is that the menu doesn't mention the compressed watermelon in the gazpacho is infused with sangria. As someone who no longer drinks alcohol, I could definitely taste it and wish that had been disclosed on the menu. Overall, Besame remains one of my favorite spots in Steamboat. Consistently great food, great service, and always a solid dining experience.

We ordered about 10 different toppers for the table, so it was pretty good odds to find a couple that weren't winners, but I have to be honest. The ambience is so cute, very swanky, but anything in Colorado still feels casual because everyone shows up in flannels and T-shirts. We had a 5 o'clock reservation and were sat right on time, and the service was really great. I started with a Pisco sour, one of my favorite drinks and really uncommon to find in this part of the world. It was delicious. I could've drank five of them. We shared a bunch of tapas for the table, starting with the patatas bravas, octopus, ceviche, duck wings, yuca frita, croquetas, gyozas, and shishito peppers. The clear winner was the ceviche - not your typical Peruvian style, made with salmon and a thicker aji amarillo sauce. It was absolutely amazing and served with these yummy plantain chips that paired so well with it. Those were also a big standout. The texture was perfect both outside and inside. I liked the octopus too, and the patatas bravas were good but felt they could have been a little more crispy on the outside and had the sauce more well-distributed. The wings really were not memorable, overly breaded and thickly sauced. The yuca was the biggest letdown of the night, usually one of my favorite dishes, but these tasted like they came frozen from a bag and did not even finish microwaving before they were served. Still, I loved some of these dishes so much that I would definitely come back and stick with what I liked and try some new things too. Thanks!

We ordered it to try something new, but didn't care for the pineapple pieces in the soup. Service is always great regardless of whether you're getting food to go or dining in. From the moment we walked in - I'm recovering from recent shoulder surgery and dressing isn't easy so I didn't look my best - I discreetly asked the hostess if it was ok for me to come in looking kinda grungy and she sweetly told me I looked cute. Then a very friendly young man led us to our table. The place was packed, there were a lot of families with children as well as older folks like my hubby and me. Our waiter was also very friendly. Hubby and I usually each order soup, then we order 2 appetizers and one entree to split when we go to Asian restaurants. We ordered the same here. The egg drop soup was heartier than we expected, it had corn and little bit of chicken in it. It was delicious. Our appetizers, spring rolls and wrapped shrimp, were delicious and they were served on beds of noodles with sliced carrots and cucumbers around the edges of the plates. We had to ask our waiter for carry out containers before our entree even arrived. Our entree, pork with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and oyster sauce was delicious....just like everything else was. And since we ordered too much we had enough left over for dinner the following night. Hubby and I usually go for Thai or Japanese when we're in the mood for Asian cuisine and we have our favorite spots in FoCo for those (I prefer Thai, he prefers Japanese). We now have our favorite Vietnamese restaurant. The food was great and the service was very friendly!

We had to walk to the front twice to get water. And we still got charged 20% gratuity for a party of 4. They do not disclose this on the menu, and I've always been forewarned at other restaurants when this is the case. FYI, they also charge a 3% surcharge for using a card. 2 dishes that were listed as "mild" or "sweet and savory" were very, very spicy. A couple in our party didn't want spice, so they thought they'd be safe with those options. After one bite one person was done with their meal. The containers that were brought to us for the ramen and udon soups did not have lids that fit. The waitstaff solution was to fold the cup in under the lid so there was a gap. This made it not even close to spill-proof and I didn't feel safe to drive with the soups (we had a bit of a longer drive ahead of us) When I asked for another option, they put the cup in a bag. Glad to have tried it. Now we know.

We have always experienced excellent service and delicious food! The sushi is great, and the pineapple curry is actually better than what can be found at most of the Thai restaurants in town (and that's saying a lot!). I don't understand how their ratings got so low. It actually makes me suspicious of the rating system and it's susceptibility to being used as a means of personal retaliation. I don't know the owners or have any sort of business relationship with this establishment beyond being a loyal customer, and I assure you that that loyalty has been earned year after year.

Drinks were on point, and the little details in the atmosphere (lighting, ambiance, layout) made it feel special. For food, we kept it simple but tasty: fries and their edamame bowl with cocktails. Both hit the mark -- the fries were crisp and fun, and the edamame bowl was a smart choice for a lighter, shareable app. We didn't get sushi this visit (so I can't weigh in on that), but for what we had the experience was solid. The patio upstairs is a standout: great for a friend date or casual hang, especially if you're looking for something more upbeat. Service for us was attentive and friendly, which added to the good vibes. If I were to suggest one improvement: I'd like to try more of the main menu next time (especially sushi or a full entree) to get a full sense of what they offer. But for now, I'd absolutely recommend this place for drinks + apps with friends in Fort Collins. We'll be back.
