Watch out if you do a takeout order they will force add gratuity. I placed a takeout order on 4/18/26. When we got in there we asked if the cowgirl roll and the jalapeño bloom were ready (we didn't use a name at the counter this is important). After I handed them my card I got a receipt for $32.89 while the receipt on my takeout bag was $28.60. If we do the math 15% of 28.60=4.29 28.60+4.29=32.89 This was unacceptable as my girlfriend had already tipped in cash and this clearly wasn't a standard fee associated with takeout as the manager had to refund me in cash. It's a damn shame to have such a great restaurant ruined because of personal greed of front of house. 3 employees were giggling as they swiped my card, and went dead silent the second I asked for the manager who told us there were two Emma orders(we never used our name so that was BS). Service was slow in a not busy restaurant- we ordered the sashimi combo and sesame chicken as our entrees and the fish that came out was very low quality and did not taste fresh, the chicken was mushy and too sweet. After a collective 4 bites of our food we decided not to risk food poisoning and the two of us still ended up sick. No one checked on us nor asked why the food had been uneaten. I'm really happy that Laramie now has a place to get a good noodle soup! I got the pork black garlic ramen and besides a super overcooked egg, it had great flavor and lots of yummy noodles. I found the sushi to be just ok (I tried a Philadelphia roll, my go-to) with a lot of rice and a little too much of everything. However, my friend really enjoyed the Arkansas and California tempura rolls, so it might just be dependent on the roll and the person. The prices are about what you'd find anywhere else as the American economy crumbles, so no complaints there. The service was also better than I expected as the American service field crumbles as well. The tables are a bit close to each other so definitely not an intimate vibe, but I'm pretty sensitive to sound and didn't find it to be too loud. All in all, I'd come back here for ramen and perhaps to try their poke, but probably not for sushi. read more

Three stars regionally adjusted. Compared to the sushi I grew up on they would rate two stars. They were much more than I expected for Laramie, and with careful selection you can get an enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the very appealing dish I had, but it's served in an oversized Martini glass and consists of chunks of tuna, avocado and mango in a very interesting sauce, bedded in strands of jicama. The rolls were OK but some were made with "cat food style" fish. That is to say it was mashed into a paste, rather than chunked or sliced. Not my cup of tea. (Speaking of tea, it was very weak.) One thing they might invest in is a few serving trays so they can serve food without hanging their thumbs in your soup bowls etc. read more

First, the service was very poor. No one person was responsible for the table but several individuals were involved with each table. Confusing for wait staff; irritating for our table. The sushi was made with overcooked rice which had been put into a preformed sushi maker which condenses the overcooked rice into an unrecognizable form. Noodles are not cooked, the meat was tasteless as it had been fried, and the soft-boiled egg is actually an overcooked hard-boiled egg that had a dark ring around the yolk. Regretted spending the money in this establishment. Would I go back???? No, Not Laramie or Cheyenne. Would I recommend....NO. The former restaurant decor is removed but the chairs and tables are the same. It appears to have had a coat of paint but little else. read more

The place is busy and for a good reason. The food is great. The ramen was excellent with generous portion. My colleagues ordered sushi and the masa man curry and those were awesome as well. The masa man curry could have used a little more bite but always good to let the server know when ordering if you want it spicier. read more

The service was really slow, we had to wait around a hour for our food, and we requested multiple times for small things such as sugar and hot mustard to be given to us, but we had to request multiple times. It seemed like nobody was at the kitchen at the time, and the only people were a couple of waitresses/waiters. We saw our food coming, but the waiters stopped midway and were talking to each other for a long time, and we were concerned that they were accidentally spitting in our food. When it did arrive, the food wasn't even warm, a soup we ordered was not even steaming, and was room temperature to the touch. The sushi we also ordered was very low quality, and wasn't even good, the rice was stale. The restaurant looked really nice though. I'm still disappointed that we had to wait for our food for nearly a hour, just for it to not even taste good and be cold. I would give the restaurant zero stars if it was a option. read more

Decided to try the newest restaurant in town out tonight and must say that the sushi is really great. It's a bit on the expensive side but overall quality and flavor is good. The ramen was extremely bland in flavor and lacking some critical ingredients like mushrooms and overall spice. The service is pure chaos. We understood they are brand new , but our section (small) had 3 waiters, one runner, and no system in place. They really need one designated expo (food runner) and one waiter for the small section of the restaurant. The only organized system in place was the host stand. We ended up having the expo bring the wrong food to us and this happened twice. We didn't know who exactly our waiter was the entire time because 4 different people were running between our table and the restaurant. Finally my partners food came out 10 minutes before mine and it took about 20 minutes to get a check. We really liked the owner as he is super friendly as are the staff, but there is definitely some work to be done. read more

Some friends and I had order a few poke bowls, some sushi rolls, and some other stuff. It was all so good! The tuna in my poke bowl was so fresh and tasty. The sauce with the rice was extremely good as well as the seaweed salad. I tried some of my friend's ramen and that was exceptional as well.
