I feel like I have reviewed this Bel Air before, but I have to trust the technology like SkyNet in a Terminator movie. So here goes. The store is always very clean and pleasing to the eye aesthetically. The e fruit is beautiful, fresh, and abundant. The produce is green and aromatic. The meats are packaged with care and picturesque. This location is the only one I have ever found with a wine bar! I saw they have tastings on Thursday evenings, which I assume is a local favorite. The staff was very young. It looked like mostly college kids working to make it, but they were supported by more seasoned staff. Despite their youthfulness, they were friendly or courteous, as well as moving quickly to get your items bagged up and ready to go. The only reason for no 5th star is that I was not wowed. To get that elusive star, I have to experience something so far above expectation I run to give a 5-star review. Nonetheless, this is a top-notch store if you happen to be all the way out in what seems like the edge of nowhere.

They said they were open 6am to 10 pm and when we went up to the door they didn't let us in. That bad customer service and disrespectful.

Because of COVID I usually just use the E-Cart grocery order system where I can shop online.

Believe it or not... not all champagne stoppers are created equal. Unless you plan to drink a whole bottle by yourself in one sitting:), you need a reliable stopper. I had been here once before several years ago. A good friend was getting married and I felt a bottle of Dom Perignon was in order. My memories of that visit were all positive. I remember a well organized and clean store. Great customer service and a huge inventory. Fingers crossed nothing has changed. Alls well that ends well! Sandra was behind the counter on a somewhat slow time. She immediately came out and took me to the accessories area. She did not hesitate and picked out, what she said, what was the best stopper in her opinion. Transaction complete! Wow. That was easy. It is soooo nice to know that some things, good customer service and a nice clean store, can remain the same for years! And that is probably because this Total Wine and More is family owned and locally owned! Thank you, Sandra! And btw... that is the BEST stopper.

The stuff here is usually very helpful and will direct me to what I need. They have a good selection of drinks as well as some pretty unique snacks. I have purchased everything from expensive whiskey to six packs of craft beer, to interesting snacks, to kosher wine, to gifts for people that I wouldn't have even considered until I saw them here. Today for example, I purchased some ginger beer and some pineapple ginger beer. No matter what you get they will insist on checking ID. That can be annoying, like it seemed unnecessary today as I am clearly over 21 and wasn't purchasing any alcoholic beverages. They are dog friendly and I do like that I can bring my dog into the store with me. They also have clean bathrooms for customers and I will continue to come here for odds and ends as long as they are open.

The staff member took me right to it, and then told me of another brand that was cheaper they thought just as good! They were right. By the way, in response to commenter Henry M.'s remark about a bottle of IDE Irish Whiskey being "expired", I'm pretty sure the date on that bottle is the bottling date (which is different from how long it's been aged). Whiskey and other hard liquors don't "expire" as such. An unopened bottle will basically last forever. An opened bottle, properly stored will stay good for a couple of years.

Mouth-watering, beefy perfection! My second time here I had the same sandwich plus a bite of my hubby's Classic Italian and immediately fell in love with that too. The vinegar, oil, and oregano added to the salami, capicola, and proscuittini (firmer and juicier than prosciutto) made it beat other Italians. Their sandwiches are incredibly savory and filling. A medium can feed two. A large 18 inch can feed 3-4. I downloaded their app for deals and feels like Christmas when I see what's available. So far I earned a free small sub for signing up for texts. Their outdoor patio is nice and the manager/ owner is great. Feels welcoming and bright inside. My husband returned an extra twenty dollar bill that was stuck to his change. In return the manager let us pick a free dessert. We also saw him at the Rancho Cordova location and he told us he owns both. We'll help keep him in business!
