The service was attentive and good- but the food is definitely not worth coming back for The best thing we tasted was the appetizer of Mexican street corn, everything else was a big disappointment. The guacamole was not balanced and way over loaded with lime I ordered the rib eye steak taco with crispy onions, horseradish with a birria au jus- terrible. Way over cooked and tough and the broth was not tasty The shrimp taco had zero taste. The grilled Mahi Mahi taco was way overcooked and also lacking seasoning. We heard how great the food is so...... We arrived around 4:30 the restaurant was pretty empty, the food was tasty but the service was horrible. We were never offered water. I was given my beer in a can never offered a glass, my husband was never offered a refill on his Pepsi. The 3 times the server came to our table was because I had to hail him down, and then he forgot to bring what I asked him to bring. The entire restaurant seemed to be run by young adults who had no idea how to serve, wait or converse with an adult. Wanting to skip our usual Taco Tuesday dinner at LaTaqueria because I wanted to be waited on it was a disappointment. Why would you pay the extra $$ for service and then have it be non existent? As we were leaving the place was filling up I don't understand why. We rate it a D+. Having lived in Milwaukee I am familiar with BelAir Cantina and their amazing food. I was really excited when they announced their new Titletown location. I met some friends there for lunch today and it as as good as I remember. Excellent food (highly recommend the Carne Asada burrito) and the service was also excellent. A small, but cozy and comfortable dining room. it was intimate enough for us to carry on a conversation and hear each other. Will definitely return! read more

I usually call to get on the list-it's a small spot that's popular with its close proximity to Titletown. Our waitress tonight was Gracie. She was fabulous! Very thoughtful to my son with feeding differences, who was upset about not having regular salsa. (Which would be a great addition. Fine you charge for it. Fine with cool different choices. Would love to see one of them be closer to a mild salsa) The bar is awesome, decor is California cool. Love the vibe! Will definitely be back.. The texture of the regular hard tacos is really special as are the cheese curds, which are quite different and absolutely worth the try. The taco idea is a great one-something done well by Vintage Cantina. In this case there is room for improvement. I give them 4 stars instead of 5 for this reason. Went to this establishment twice, the first time it wasn't terrible. However the second time I'm immediately greeted to a host wearing a belt with profanity quoting "I love boobies" written multiple times across his belt which I find highly offensive. Next I was seated near a window seat with multiple dead flies and dust joining me while I dined. The first time I went I got tacos which were not too bad, but the second time I went I got a quesadilla which I figured is pretty hard to mess up. Right? Wrong it was a spicy pollo quesadilla and seemed to be made in a pile of grease. It was so greasy I struggled to even pick the tortilla up to enjoy it. I take a stop to BelAir Cantina. The energy is already weird when the ladies see me coming, but I don't care, i just want tacos and a margarita, it was a long day of work. So I chose to sit outside, and I was kind enough to ask if outside was self seating. They told what I needed to do and I followed that. So they sat me outside and for about 8 mins, I have no interaction, AND ITS NOT EVEN BUSY. Another table comes to sit down; a couple. And before you ask, no they didn't look like me. Within 2 mins of sitting down, they have a server. What annoyed me, was my server, Gaby, another boy, and I guess a supervisor, who gleefully came outside to mumble every song the band played, were outside talking about me IN FRONT OF ME, pointing at my table and then the one that got sat, it's about 12 minutes and I have no server and they have waters by this time. Perception. They don't know the definition. I have nothing in front of me. Instead of the concert going girl with the tablet coming to say "hey, sorry, there is a mixup about the section, the servers were a little confused, someone will be right with you," SHES BOPPING on the back patio getting her entire life. Had communication been that, it could have been forgiven TOTALLY. I've been a bartender and server, so I get it, but I've also been a manager and also knows what it looks like when people are standing around and a table is VISIBLY being ignored. Instead, I have to get HER attention, and ask her about it, because again, I'm annoyed. Then when I asked her about it, it was almost as if me asking her was the BIGGER annoyance. Gaby made eye contact with me 6 times. The girl with the tablet tried to avoid it because she could tell I was pissed. By the time I even got a water, the other table had appetizers coming out. So Gaby finally comes to the table, and tries kissing my butt, and I am NOT enthused because I am a set the tone and first impression kinda guy. To add insult to injury, a funky $1.46 discount? I didn't need the discount, nor did I ask for it, if anything, that pissed me off even more. If anything, you see I was angry, send the manager out there to talk to me. Not apply any discount, especially this insulting one. GABY ISNT DUMB. She's very intelligent, intelligent to know I was sitting there, and nobody had been there, and smart enough to decide she wasn't going to be the first one because the heat was pretty tense. I really wanted to love this place! I would come back again but it's not a go to place for me. The lavender margarita was way too sweet for me. The pitcher of the plain margaritas is the way to go if your with people. Good value. Ordered the carnitas burrito. It was good, I prefer authentic tasting Mexican food. Place is small. So you're going to have to wait. Chips and salsa are 2 bucks. That always seems super cheap to me. Didn't love their salsa flavors. Love the downtown location though. read more

Got a variety of items to try for the first time going here inducing: 2 varieties of tacos, rice, beans and esquite. I have never eaten more bland food than I did here. Zero salt, zero flavor. Not your typical Mexican food restaurant. This was our first time at BelAir Cantina. Our waitress, Ellena, was so nice and friendly. We ordered the Birria Burrito and Birria Rolls. The burrito was huge and very tasty. Took half of it home for another meal! Got 4 Birria rolls w/ consommé and Sriracha crema - so good. And got the tortilla chips w/ 3 different sauces. Chips were nice and thin. Wish we lived close by - would definitely visit again. No complaints on the margarita and beer. Nice to have the choice to eat inside or out. read more

First time here and can't wait to try it again! Loved pretty much everything. First, they were busy on what could well be called Taco Tuesday, since they offer a few different $3 tacos and drink specials on a couple of different weeknights. We were told it'd be a 30-minute wait, but it ended up being less than 10, as we waited at the bar. Unfortunately, the table they had for us was right at the front entrance, and you'd have to sit and look at the backsides of all the people standing around waiting for a table. No thanks. We just stayed at the bar. We started with the chips and salsa. Everything is made from scratch, so I don't begrudge a restaurant charging a measly two bucks for it. No, it's not the standard endless basket of ("free") chips that you're just gonna keep pounding for 15 minutes while you're waiting for your meal. But the chips were fresh and warm, and all the salsas were housemade and tasted like it. If you've ever made any of these salsas from scratch, you know what you're getting. And one of the servers at the bar did offer to refill them for us, which was great, because I also sampled some of the salsa on a couple of my tacos. We tried six different tacos: jalapeño popper, Korean, chorizo, brisket, birria, and ninja pig, and all were excellent. If you order three tacos you get beans and rice included. The only minor disappointment was the brisket taco. A couple pieces of the brisket were either overcooked or allowed to dry out in the warming pan, and since it's shredded, it resulted in a couple bites that were very tough strings of beef (think shredded beef jerky). But the moist and tender bites had great flavor. I'll still try it again. A couple of the tacos (mainly beef or steak ones) were a little on the pricey side ($7-ish). But the ninja pig is one of the $3 Tuesday specials, and I'd happily eat that one all day long. This isn't the kind of Mexican-style restaurant where you go expecting to have an endless stream of chips with canned-tomato salsa or a huge plate of glop-smothered whatever wrapped up in a tortilla. They serve innovative riffs on traditional taqueria-style meats and preparations, similar to the Cantina downtown, but with far better and more personable service, in our experience. Our servers were all friendly, informative and helpful. No, it's not a huge place, and it's probably not the cheapest taco in town. And being near Lambeau Land it'll undoubtedly be crazy busy at times. But the food was great, and we will definitely be back very shortly. read more

Thought we would try out the new BelAir Cantina out by Titletown. $7.oo for their el cheap o margarita, i ordered a regular, and my wife ordered a strawberry, $1.00 up charge to make it strawberry, Cheese Quesadilla was $7.85, plus $3.51 to make it with chicken or steak. Most mexican restaurants, bring complementary chips and salsa for while you enjoy your drinks, here they are $2.01, why the xtra penny i dont know. Ordered rice and refried beans, and you guessed it $1.69 upcharge for each. When we got our bill it was just shy of $60. So a bit pricey. As i looked at the receipt, i noticed all the up charges, and that we were charged for an extra quesadilla, 7.85. I walked to the cashier and showed it to him, he took the receipt and went into the kitchen and had them manager adjust it down. They were training a bunch of new help, with the draft and all. Bart our server was very nice, attentive, and helped with the overcharge, food was very good, but Caliente in Depere is much better. read more
