If you are visiting Green Bay, this is a restaurant worth a visit. I would highly recommend reservations as they were busy on a weeknight. The menu is small but there are many good choices. We started with the fired Brussels petals and they were like eating yummy floaty pieces of sprouts. We also had the cheese curds which were pretty standard for cheese curds so I wouldn't likely order them again. The entree was the standout- the 8 oz. build your own wagyu burger was big and delicious! With smoked Gouda and bacon it was over the top rich. The restaurant had cozy seating and our server was attentive but also quite busy. Atmosphere was great, Dani, our waitress, was amazing. Had prime rib with broccoli and truffle fries, girlfriend had same but, with mashed potatoes. All we could taste with the prime rib and truffle fries was garlic. Potatoes tasted like they came out of a box and broccoli was cold, hard and had no flavor. Ordered desert and after dinner drink. Waited 15 minutes for them to get ice cream. They brought the dessert and we finished with still no after dinner drink. (Bar was not busy) Received bill, they added additional 3% for rising food costs and another $5.00 up charge for the truffle oil. Wouldn't have been an issue if they would have said something in advance or indicated additional charges on the menu. The whole thing seemed rather shady. We had dinner reservations for 5:30pm Friday and we were seated and greeted right away. The 3 of us shared the truffle fries which were pretty lack luster, I wouldn't recommend for the price. One friend had pasta with shrimp and it was good. The other friend and I added grilled chicken to our orders and the chicken tasted like table salt - so salty, we couldn't eat it. The food is very on or off. We had a table of 8.... Two people had same pasta..... one was spicy one had no spicy. Two people ordered prime rib n got rib eyes and wait staff couldn't even decide if it was prime rib or rib eye. Calamari excellent, seared tuna terrible. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo($21), I didn't even enjoy it because it was too salty! How can you screw up Alfredo sauce? My daughter ordered Lemon Truffle Shrimp Scampi ($27) even more saltier than my dish! We ordered the truffle fries appetizer with Parmesan, and it was Bland! Someone gave much thought to the decor at Stella's, and it strikes just the right note for a friendly/cozy/warm gathering. We skipped the bar for a patio table in the back because the Wisconsin evening was just right. We were hungry but didn't want to spoil our dinner, so we asked for bread, which was $1 per slice, served with butter. Nice beer selection included some craft beers, so I tried something new. My dinner companion often has difficulty hearing conversation in a restaurant, but there was no problem on the porch. Music was playing softly-- just enough to set the mood-- and the porch is on a side street, so there wasn't much traffic noise. Now for the food: I ordered a small Caesar salad with a piece of salmon. Size of the salad was just right for me and the salmon was cooked perfectly. I wasn't super-impressed with the Caesar part. Companion chose comfort food--a big bowl of pasta with Italian sausage. It was a generous portion. He was kind enough to share and we both declared it delicious. It had these red peppers that were sweet and spicy at the same time; I don't know what they were. The sausage had some kick to it, but just the right amount and the sauce was fabulous. This is the kind of dish you wish you could create re-create at home, but you will never be able to get it just right. Service was very good. I love that the menu offers an option to "buy a drink" for the kitchen stuff. All in all, it was a wonderful evening. read more

Strong review here. I was working in Green Bay for the day and decided to drive to De Pere for dinner. Found this spot . I ordered the Waygu tenderloin with Sweet Potatoes and Asparagus. The tenderloin was a little over cooked but was well seasoned and delicious. The star of the dish was really the sweet potatoes. Seasoned with Rosemary, it was absolutely incredible. The pasta was cooked perfectly and Alfredo was good but didn't make me want to take the leftovers home. And they certainly give you enough to take home another meal. Great first experience at Stella's! We dined out on the patio and it was great. The entire restaurant space was large, modern yet inviting and had plenty of seating areas Safety: first & foremost it's was great to see all staff wearing masks & all tables sufficiently spaced. We sat outside and felt very safe dining. Food: started with the bruschetta (pictured) which was excellent. Also overheard the table next to us raving about the brussel sprouts. Vinaigrette was too thick making it difficult to mix into the salad. Very small portion of salmon which was over cooked. Salad lacked seasoning. Could have benefitted from fresh herbs and salt and pepper. Once seasoned and placed in a larger bowl, it was okay but not worth the price. Have been to Stella's many times. Now the reason for 4 stars ... we were seated immediately which I always appreciate and handed paper menus. I'm ok with a paper menu, but not one that is stained and crumpled. They were very used! We ordered two appetizers, both which were delicious. The special sandwich and Alfredo were good. I had the mushroom flatbread and was disappointed with the lack of mushrooms. I don't think there was one fully sliced mushroom on the entire flatbread. Maybe one mushroom slice per piece. The prices are steep for the quality and quantity of food. read more

I suggest making your way around the menu and trying a little bit of everything. The flatbreads are always a great choice, as well as the truffle fries!
