My wife and I visited Belinda's Authentic Mexican Food in Buena Park for the first time on Friday, 2/20/26 for breakfast. The restaurant is on the smaller side and looks a little run down, but don't let that fool you, the service from all the staff was excellent from start to finish. The coffee was delicious and tasted like it might have been café de olla, or maybe had a hint of cinnamon. It was the perfect way to start our morning. I ordered the huevos rancheros with beans and rice, and my wife had the chilaquiles with scrambled eggs and carne asada. Her dish was especially delicious. The carne asada was well-seasoned and full of flavor. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they had menudo on the menu, which is what I really wanted, but we were told it wouldn't be available for another two hours. It was already a little after 10:00 a.m. when we arrived, so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, we had a great experience with excellent service and flavorful food. We'll definitely be back -- hopefully next time I can try the menudo! read more

I haven't even eaten my food yet but this review is Solely on service. The workers here are SO NICE. To EVERYONE. I noticed it upon entrance. Some customers didn't speak English and the cashier took her time to take her order and make sure it was correct. They greet everyone and even offered me a free refill on my drink as I waited. Wanna have Korean food for brunch from my favorite restaurant. And I saw this Mexican restaurant next to it. Decided to give it a try. Came in and a very nice lady greeted me and told me I can sit wherever I want. She brought chips and salsa and the menu. I ordered the machaca plate. Didn't take long for my order. The food is flavorful. The real authentic taste. Most of all, not salty. This is one hidden gem in this plaza. It's clean and homey. There's always plenty of parking. I came here on my lunch break & it was pretty busy. They were taking orders quickly which was appreciated, my order was called out within about 10 minutes. I ordered a bean & cheese burrito to-go ($6.50), when I got back to work I pulled out a very small & sadly wrapped burrito. Which was a bummer considering I was starving & had only about 15 min. left of my lunch break. Nonetheless, I inhaled it, but I wouldn't order it again. Maybe it was a one-off situation...but a bummer nonetheless. The place is tucked in the corner of a small plaza on Orangethorpe right off the freeway which is nice. I only ordered a combo taquitos plate (1 entree) everyone else had multiple people and multiple plates. Not sure why mine took so long. FOOD: $12.99 BEEF TAQUITOS COMBO PLATE: comes with 3 taquitos, guacamole, sour cream, refried beans, rice, small bag of chips, and salsa. It was OK. OVERALL: It was my first time trying this place and I probably should have ordered something more authentic but that's what I happened to be craving. If it didn't take so long for my order to come out, I'd give this place another try. Ive been to Belinda's once or twice 10 years ago and it was great. Recently came here again with family for morning breakfast . It really is a great sitdown restaurant in an area with lots of Mexican food options . The food is good, they have American breakfast and Mexican dishes. We ended up getting the machaca plate, Carne Asada Fajitas plate, Mexican polish sausage plate , and 4 Al Pastor Tacos. Prices are less than $15 a plate and they serve you tortilla chips if you dine in. read more

Good, solid, traditional, Mexican food. It can be slightly unsalted your side, but the portions are big for the price and the food fills you up. I actually like their breakfast burritos better than their traditional Mexican dishes. Located at the corner of Orangethorpe and Valley View, BAM offers that "diner" experience with good prices and great portion sizes!! I came aware of this place as my office has use their catering a few times. What started off with just amazing tacos, I've been able to sample some more of their offerings. My favorite so far is the breakfast burritos. A lot of places usually overload the burrito with hash browns, skipping the meat and eggs-- not here! Their BB have a good mix of the ingredients, especially with the meat and eggs. We just came back from here. We've been in the area for about 2 weeks (we live in Georgia) and tried a number of Mexican restaurants and this has been the best yet. The service was great. OK I think I found mine new favorite breakfast spot, great food service was pretty good. I really wish they checked up on us a little more but I do understand they were pretty busy and they only had maybe two waiters. I got a menudo And pozole and they were both really good. I will definitely come back and it's not too far from my house. They have Fresca's homemade they were made with a love ... the spot is a little hidden Jewel. You will definitely enjoy their food. I received a chicken burrito with double rice, no beans. I was on my lunch break so there was no way I could wait again for a corrected order, so I ate the burrito as it was . If they are going to charge me $2.99 to make a burrito wet . at least make it worth it. Don't sprinkle a tiny bit of cheese on top and throw salsa on it and think that's worth it. Hi, I recently visited this restaurant. and just wanted to give a point scale review on my experience. Also I would like to share some notes as well. 1 being needs improvement, 10 being excellent Parking: 7.5/10 big parking lot with plenty of spots on the weekend. They share with other businesses so im not sure how it is on business days. Outside appearance: 5/10 they share with other businesses so there isn't much you can do to your outside appearance. Could use a upgrade but its not bad. Inside appearance: 5.5/10 businessperson like its been here a while. Seems like they want that mom and pop mexican restaurant vibe. With insides of restaurants closed for dining these guys have a setup outside that is ok. Staff service: 4 /10 did a to go order the guy taking my order didn't really understand me clearly and I didn't understand him enough. But he got my order correct after repeating myself a few times. Also asked if they sold bread for the menudo he told me no, I saw them cooking a torta ok the grill and I asked him if he could sell me that bread he said yes. So they did have bread. If you're working for a restaurant make a sale dont deny a customer something that you have available. Food and restaurant experiance notes: overall the food was great.
