This is a restaurant in a small strip mall. It's nice that they're next to a liquor store so you could always get a different drink to go with the food! They are very friendly and have a small self serve bar of salsa, veggies, radish, and limes. Very nice setup! We ordered through DoorDash and it was ready within 10 mins. While the place and staff are nice the food unfortunately did not meet our craving. I will preface we are from San Diego so the Mexican food is different from home so we just are not used to the type from up here in Buena Park. My cheese and bean burrito came with mozzarella cheese while I'm use to a Mexican blend of cheese. It was a little cold in the middle. The rolled tacos did not come with guac which was surprising and it was a lot of cotija cheese. It was just also not seasoned to our liking. Worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. I ordered the chicken flautas , the chicken was really dry and had no seasoning at all. When I bit into the flauta all of the chicken came out at once and it was hard to swallow because the chicken was so dry. They only put crema on top, no Side of guacamole like most places. I brought my younger brother and his girlfriend here to eat. I got a carne asada wet burrito in green sauce and my brother got a regular burrito with pastor and his girlfriend got a carne asada quesadilla plate. We down it with a Mexican coke and two large horchata. The cashier guy was pretty friendly and the service was fast didn't have to wait long for our food. I pass by this restaurant at least 2-3 times a week and finally stopped and went in. I was going to order to go but decided to eat my food there while it was nice and hot. Place was nice and clean. Got the albondigas soup and it was one of the best I've had. Lots of meatballs, nicely seasoned, along with carrots, celery and potatoes. Had the flan too, super delicious. The lady that took my order was friendly and I even got to meet one of the owners. My family is looking forward to going this weekend to try their menudo and pozole. read more

We get takeout from here a couple times a month because it's on the way home for my husband to pick it up when he gets back with our son from practice. Their food is consistently good-we usually get tacos (carne asada and carnitas are favorites), burritos, rice (fluffy and flavorful), and they have pozole on the weekends (red with pork). The only thing I didn't care for was their albondigas (the meatballs looked like frozen ones from the grocery store). Their salsas and pickled carrots are on point too. I used to love coming to this place, especially on Wednesdays for their taco deals. I've been coming here for years and sadly their quality has gone down tremendously. The service is fast but they're not the most welcoming. I remember when on Wednesday's, their tacos used to be 65 cents. Now the price has gone up to 95 cents but the quality has gone down. 95 cents is still a pretty good deal but their meat and tortillas are dry and hard. The tortillas seemed a bit undone because it was hard and tough to chew. Although I used to love this place, I don't think I will be coming here anymore. read more

Then they call out my order so I can go to the counter and get my food. I tip for service and food quality. There is no service here. Food quality is average. Anywhere I see these machines I have stopped going to regardless of food quality. These machines are usually installed where there is no service. I arrived at 8:30 pm, and the chairs were already stacked atop the tables and the staff was cleaning up countertops, etc. I asked if they were still open and was told that they were. So I ordered a Cheese Chile Relleno plate, a side of guacamole and a bottle of coke. I asked for extra sauce atop the Chile Relleno and extra cheese on top of everything. The only thing that was right with my order, was the bottle of coke. I opened up my take out box back home, and it was obvious that I didn't get the extra sauce or cheese. Worse, the "ranchero" sauce that was on the Chile Relleno was very runny plain tomato sauce. The Chile Relleno itself was stone cold. And the guacamole was nothing but tomato's, onions, cilantro, jalapenos, and lime juice with little to no avocado! It was totally crunchy with no taste avocado, just the heat from the jalapenos and the taste and crunch of the onions. I can not recommend this location for either the Chile Relleno or the Guacamole. read more

Ordered for the first time through doordash, so unfortunately I have no say in ambiance and customer service. However, the food was amazing, almost as good as a home cooked meal! When the food arrived, everything was still fresh and warm. I had ordered the huevos rancheros and asada fillet plate. Also ordered a large horchata. All was very good and satisfying! The asada fillet was seasoned well, and matched perfectly with the rice and beans. The huevos rancheros tasted like it was made by my own mother! I was so surprised. First time here at this place. I ordered Chicken Flautas with beans. The flautas came with some special green sauce instead of guacamole. It was absolutely delicious. The Flautas were nice and flaky. I will definitely be back here. On my second visit, I tried a Wet Chicken Burrito, And I wasn't too impressed. It was wet on the outside, but it needed sauce or pico de gallo on the inside. (I got the pollo and asada tacos) And also the price for them are about $1.35 if I remember correctly.
