Do not purchase from the dealership I purchased a used 2015 Hyundai Sonata . I understand the concept of purchasing used as I have done plenty of times.. requesting for maintenance record as they stated all the needed services have been done Is like pulling teeth They mark up the cost because they stated it was done... " who know if that is true" Im puzzled, when I call to get information or reach out they advise service was never done. Upon the sale of the vehicle we stumbled across some door scratches. The sales rep ( Wisam ) and Manager (Greg) advise I could bring the vehicle back to have work done as a courtesy. Come to find out since I purchase cash and there isn't a service agreement I pretty much have to pay out of pocket!! Save your money and go elsewhere Lesson learned here is never to buy here again. People in Phoenix I'm going to tell you a little heads-up. I wanted to sell my car before insurance was due on Monday since we already bought the new car for the trip to Michigan. *Do not for any reason do business with Mark Mitsubishi.* Absolutely, positively they are liars and manipulators. I told them the quote that I got from carvana but I didn't want to wait for carvana for 2 days to come pick up my car and pay me. They said that they would honor that quote and they would be happy to buy my car today. I was honest about the condition of it and they said we will give you what you want. First of all when I got there the person that made the appointment with to meet all of a sudden was not available and so they pawned me off on a different guy. He said they would have to inspect a vehicle, which I get! He came back and asked me what I wanted for the car and I told him what I'd already been quoted that I would receive. And then he walked into the big room where they all look like they're talking about your car when they're really just bullshitting about sports and women and how stupid and naive women are in general ( I imagine) and then he came out and he says I'm going to sit down and discuss this with you. So he sits down and proceeds to tell me that my tires all need replacing, right now it would not pass inspection, and about three other things that he said were wrong with the car. And he said based on that their offer was $2,500 less than what I was quoted by Carvana. I said, "You know, I guess we're not going to do any business here and you really pissed off the wrong person, because I just had my car serviced 2 weeks ago and everything was fine and trust me my mechanic would have tried to get me to do things if they found anything wrong with it. Three of my tires are perfect.One is showing a little tread but not even enough to worry about yet, and the other items that you stated are absolutely incorrect because it passed inspection in March and it also passed the inspection at the Hyundai dealership two weeks ago." He said," Well carvana is going to do the same thing cuz your car is not in great shape." I said I had another offer and I'd go do business with them and he said good luck. So I went down the street to the other place that I had been talking with and was greeted by this wonderful man named OT. And OT was extremely nice and came out and said these are the kinds of vehicles were always looking for for our customers and he asked what my carvana quote was and went in and said it's going to take some time we have to photograph the car and send it to our corporate office and then I'll get back to you with her an offer. He asked what the carvana quote was and I told him. He came back in 20 minutes with an offer that was $187 less than what carvana would give me so I told him he had a deal. Not only did he treat me with respect but within an hour I had my check and he also even told me to make sure that I go on to the Arizona website to request my money back because my registration still had value to it for the car. Also while they were doing that the general manager of the area sent me an email stating thank you for doing business with me if you're not happy with anything that happened during the transaction please let me know and I will make it right. I reached out to the dealership in regards to an ad they are running on the radio trying to explain how misleading some of the information was v's me going into the actual dealership but customer relations manager Edward Himes felt the need to belittle me and disrespect me on the phone (I have a voice recording of that) but that's not the bad part so after speaking with him on the phone I then came to the local today and tried to file a complaint regarding the matter and speak with the head manager but he was not in office from what was stated to me Edward than tried to kick me an my Wife out, expose my credit information in the middle of the sales floor and tried to humiliate me. Also I was told he would not be fired for his actions which means they did not give a D***. That he is willing exposing customer credit information whenever you get mad. Y'all this way so bad. Upon arriving for an appointment I scheduled I was told they couldn't locate the vehicle and was offered the chance to look at a similar vehicle that was 2 years older, I declined and we looked at the vehicle, the vehicle clearly had collision damage, was then shown 2 different Camry's that they had in stock and they both looked like an accident had happened and was restored, was not on the vehicle history and the salesman told me the vehicle was perfectly good to go. Check engine light turned on right as I'm pulling out of their place. Pretty poor timing, maybe they were resetting the computer. I told them about it, did not fix it, Told me to go to a ford dealership to get it fixed under warranty. I was in a hurry and just frustrated cause it all took so long, so I left. I should of returned the truck then when I had to chance but badly needing/wanted the truck so I trusted them. 6 months later, right after the warranty expired, bunch of computer relays or whatever they're called failed on it, fried a bunch of fuses. $900. This is on a 2017 with 40k miles. Left me completely stranded in the middle of the road near a busy intersection. Truck wouldn't even go out of park or start. Totally locked up. Nightmare of an experience. I towed it to another dealership as I knew the answer Id get from these guys. Also when looking under truck I saw they completely spray painted the whole undercarriage to cover up rust. Truck was imported from Canada so I guess it makes sense I just hadn't noticed until mechanic pointed it out. They keep asking me to write them a review so here you go. Wish I would have just bought from a dealer who would stand behind their trucks....not just make a quick buck from imports from Canada. My fault...I should of walked away when the red flags happened. I'm torn between giving them a 4 or 5 stars. Both ratings are excellent in my book but my reasons for the 4 stars will be revealed later. This is all for the Service Department. I got a recall notice for my vehicle earlier in the week and called to schedule an appointment. The gentleman I spoke with on the phone was pleasant enough and gave me some info about what to expect during the visit. He was able to get me in for today, a Saturday, which was what I really wanted and thankful to get. I arrived 10 minutes early for my morning appointment and was seen almost immediately by a service rep. He got me checked in and quoted me about an hour time frame, same as when I first called earlier in the week. I went back to the waiting lounge to wait for the long, drab hour. The waiting lounge was clean and spacious, which I appreciated. The hour quote was right on and they ended up giving me some free services which was truly unexpected. They replaced the part in the recall as expected and also ran my car through the wash and replaced a burnt out bulb in one of the tail lights. I'm just all around super appreciative for the services provided and getting my desired appointment day/time. The reason for the 4 stars was that I felt that the service guys were a bit standoff-ish and I got confused during parts of the interaction of where to go next as no directions were readily given. But in the end, my car was serviced as needed and with the surprise extras, I will happily return for future needs. read more

All I can say is...WOW. We had the most incredible buying experience at Mark Mitsubishi of Phoenix this past weekend. The sales team is not pushy at all and the prices are the lowest in the Valley when we compared the vehicles that we were looking at. We *thought* we were in the market for a certified pre-owned 2016 Honda Pilot EX-L and found one through Auto Trader that was located at Mark Mitsubishi of Phoenix. When we arrived to look at it, we were kindly greeted by Bob. He walked over to the car with us to chat about it. In person, the car had more scratches than I liked {I'm SUPER picky when it comes to purchasing used cars...lets be honest, they basically have to look new}. BUT staring at us from across the lot was a GORGEOUS 2015 White Lexus GX460. I jokingly said to my husband, "what about this one?". With a giggle, knowing that it was way out of our reach! Well, little did I know, it actually wasn't as far out of our reach as I had thought. I told my husband that it was my dream "mom car" in 10+ years. And he said, well then, lets look at it! Why not get your dream car now? ***KEEPER***. ;) We took it for a spin, and YUP, it was everything that we wanted and more. It had the towing capacity and truck-like feel that my husband wanted, and the luxury feel that I wanted. We were smitten. As we were pulling back into the lot, I saw another one! This one was a black 2014 GX460, in even BETTER condition than the 2015 and the exact same body style. It literally looked brand new, inside and out. And i'm a sucker for black. It was also more affordable since it had a few more miles on it and was one year older. Well needless to say, we left that day totally unsure about what we wanted. The Lexus put the pilot to shame. {No offense, Honda, I still love you!} We came home and did a TON of research on the Lexus GX460s and literally could not get it out of our head. They body style and features had not changed much between 2014-2017 and there really were no big differences between the years. So, I called up Bob and asked to come back and test drive the black one. Good thing, because they had sold the white one previously that afternoon!! Fast forward a few hours and we are now proud owners of a gorgeous Lexus SUV! :) The purchasing process was seamless, they definitely worked with us to meet our monthly budget, and they offered a 50K mile/4 year full luxury warranty AND Gap Insurance which are key when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. We're in love! We can't stop staring at it. Thank you, Bob, and the entire MM of Phoenix team for making our buying experience SO seamless. Do not buy a car here unless you absolutely have to. Yes, they will finance you with bad credit. But I looked at 2 cars. One had a 2 foot long Crack in the windshield. And bird poop on it. The other was in good condition. I wanted the one that was in good condition. They were similarly priced. I was told it would cost an extra 1200 in down payment for the decent car. So first, I didn't get the car I wanted, I got the car they wanted to unload. They didn't even bother to offer to wash the car, which honestly is standard practice when you buy a car. On top of that, the very next day I get a call telling me I had an 800 dollar "pick" payment on top of the down I had already given them. I told them no that was not in my contract. The lady insists she has a copy right in front of her. An outright blatant lie. I went out to check my copy, and no there is nothing in there about a pick payment. Call back and ask for a manager. I drove over an hour to the dealership to be there right when they opened on Saturday - as a walk in. I was met by one of the front office ladies and a service employee who advised me I would not be worked in as they were short staffed and already at capacity with appts. As my husband and I were walking out I stated "well that was an hour driver for nothing." To my surprise, the service manager, Rick, heard me and asked what I was there for. When I told him it was for an oil change he called over to the front desk employee and told her to work us in. Then he proceeded to take my car back for the service. Once you buy the car they treat you like shit. Claim they took a loss on seal when I paid the sticker price for vehicle. Only one key was provided for my vehicle and salesman and his boss failed to make it right to get me another one. They sold me on their gap insurance and he can't even give me an extra key to ensure my safety and ability to access my car in the event I lose the original. Took my car brothers car there for an air bag recall and they cut off the wiring for my after market stereo. I spoke to someone from service and claim that they were only untwisted for safety reason yet the power cable was never disconnect from the battery living a power cable on the console loose and bare didn't even bother to put tape on them which clearly were cut with pliers. Out of curiosity I requested a "buy" quote from Kelly Blue Book. Jordan from Mark Mitsubishi called me shortly afterward and told me he could " get you more on your car" if I would bring it in so he could check for oil leaks. I wasn't hopeful but drove to the dealership and let them look the car over. After a while Jordan made an offer that was significantly less than the KBB offer I received earlier. Of course he said he could go be me more if I was there interested in one of their cars. They gave the car back with water spots on the windows and paint from testing the washers and the tailgate was not closed properly. I had to go to the car wash to clean it up again. Jordan had no intention of getting me more money for my car. He just wanted to get me in the store to try to convince me to take less. That's his job I suppose but his entire approach was disingenuous at best. Don't waste your time with Mark Mitsubishi or Jordan. I am a fair person and for reasons I did give them 2 stars. With that said we saw the car we wanted at Mark Mitsubishi. Went there just shy of closing and knew the drill, so I made my decision fast. I told the sales rep if you can get me a new key fob since the only one with the car was broke and you can get my payment within my range, you have a deal. Wisam moved fast and got the deal through. We signed the paperwork and were out the door within 40 minutes. As we were all walking outside so he could officially hand the keys to me he said our fob/key will be shipped to our house and proceeded to explain how to snap the cover off the existing key to the new fob. I go in the car to drive off and notice the TPM was showing low. Knowing it was now after close and I read on the dash the left front and right rear tires were 29/28psi I compared to the other 2 reading 30psi, I figured they were all just not filled enough. Sure enough when I get home, I filled them all to the correct 35psi and they have held since. Strike one! The next day I started seeing spots of oil on my garage floor. Thankfully I have an epoxy coating. Upon review I saw the issue, the mechanics never put the gasket on the drain plug Strike two! After calling the service manager and explaining my issue he said he would take care of it. Since I was driving from Avondale I said I would like full synthetic for my troubles, which he obliged. All was good and get almost all the way home to Avondale and I start hearing a scrapping/dragging noise. I pull over to see the belly pan was dragging on the ground. I immediately called the service manager back and he said get it taken care of, we will reimburse you. At this point I wanted to be done with it all and just took care of it myself. Two more weeks go by, now 1 month from purchase and still no key fob. So I emailed our sales rep Wisam and asked the status. He said: "Keys usually gets ordered a week of purchase will double check on my parts department and let you know!". I never heard from him again. So I call them and ask to speak to a sales manager. I was told they were busy and can they take a message. As much as I didn't want to leave a message I explained my issue and said if no one calls me within 30 minutes I will call back. Nobody called and I got busy and never called back. Not having a working fob is a huge inconvenience since the trunk has no outside lock and you have to open the door (with your key) to pop the trunk. This makes shopping ad full hands difficult. Strike three! I guess i will be buying my own key fob and I will not be doing anymore business with Mark Mitsubishi. Buyer beware. read more

I have not heard a peep, not a peep. ie; received your email, looking into it, nothing! No response at all from anyone. This validates the negative experience that I had with this dealership. They don't care at all. After contacting "my" sales person. He told me that the upper management did see it but have been busy "hasn't had a chance" to respond. Look at the reviews that were not so positive... everyone of them got a response right away, If this type of service is ignored and the upper management is excusing this type of behavior. You may for your sake.. want to look elsewhere for a better experience. MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: You have two employees that I would like you to recognize. Alissa Heintz and David Gonzales. David, has apparently only been with Mark Mitsubishi for a very short time. He is approachable, honest and forthright and young and eager to learn. HE should teach HIS SUPERVISOR Hal how to speak...with attentive listening and empathy to a customer in duress. David totally recovered the sale. His manager can take a lesson from someone younger and with less experience. David went above and beyond to show kind and knowledgeable service. And so, I bought a car from Mark Mitsubishi Scottsdale. The communication in the beginning of my sale was a little bumpy ..but David and Alissa Spoke and worked together to recover the situation and close the sale. I would also like to make you aware that if your potential customers are going to be in an area with your employees, meaning that the cubicles at your location are open and all conversations can be heard.... complaining, negativity and using profanity should be done behind closed doors. I had to make my young daughter who was with me put her head phones on and play a game while I was waiting for the Finance Dept to finish my paperwork. As I am waiting, I am hearing your employees drop the "F" Bomb more than twice and openly complaining about customers "giving them the run around" about a Chrysler and other inter personnel issues from another venting employee.. about cars being dropped off by the Mark Kia Location and them having to "just deal with it", and such. It is offensive and inappropriate as well as unprofessional, and such conversations should be vented elsewhere so potential buying customers can not hear them ranting. I would love to refer my friends and all my clientele to Mark Mitsubishi Scottsdale if they are in need of a new car ...but, would not have anything positive to speak of except the two previously mentioned team players Alissa and David. I bought my 2016 outlander July 4th, and a week after I bought it the power adapters stopped working. It was under a 1000 mile warranty, so I brought it in right away. They said it was fixed, I left, and it immediately stopped working again. So I go back to wait another couple hours to be told that the first tech misses something and they had it fixed. Wrong! October and I'm still trying to get it fixed now only to be charged because it's out of warranty.....they didn't fix it right when it was under warranty. BUYER BEWARE!!!! I attempted to purchase an F-150 Lariat from this dealer. I didn't know a lot about the truck at the time so I signed the paperwork. Remember this was for a LARIAT. After I took delivery I noticed a few things that didn't seem right. Like some of the options listed in the ad were not there. I called Mark Mitsubishi and they told me that it was an import from Canada so some options were different. I thought this was fishy so I did some digging. After some research I had a bad feeling about this truck. I also noticed that there were identical scratches in both side emblems. Also, the "leather" seats were Katskin which is not standard. I called Mark Mitsubishi and told them I didn't think this was a Lariat and they sold me a truck that the badges had been changed. They told me they had to do research and that it would take several days. I decided to take it to an actual Ford dealership to see if they could help. Sure enough they sent me the original window sticker which was an XLT. A class below the Lariat. I called Mark Mitsubishi and let them know what I found. I sent them the sticker and they told me that I was responsible for what I bought. I told them that they signed paperwork clearly stating that this was a Lariat which in fact it was not. At this point they knew they were caught. Mark Mitsubishi attempted to pay me $3000 just to keep it, but this truck was worth about 10k less. I said no and they told me I could look at trucks in the same price range which they were not helpful with. Luckily for me they had my car still which I promptly picked up. I don't know who changed the emblems and seats, but this truck definitely wasn't what they told me it was and signed paperwork stating it was. If I could leave negative stars I would. My experience is with trying to buy a used car they had listed online.. They post a price online and they tell you this is the "discounted" internet price. Then I had to tell them about my trade in and fill a form about my car to get the break down. when I got the breakdown I get surprised they ask me to pay for repairs done for the vehicle before it was listed on top of the announced price and they call it "reconditioning" fees and then they add another 500$ window tinting fees while the pictures show that the windows are already tinted Danielle told me that this is mentioned in the "fine print" with the ad, I still think this is a deceptive and twisted marketing technique. And that's exactly why its in "fine print" If you serviced the car and want to add the costs to the selling price just go ahead and do that to the listed price and don't waste my time posting a lower price than what you are intending to sell. If you try to leave some hidden costs until late in the deal I don't know what else you are hiding about the car, could be something mechanical or some wear and tear that you are hiding in the photos. I simply can't trust a business that follows such twisted marketing techniques Hopefully this review will help other people not waste their time and ask about hidden fees earlier in the process or even better look somewhere else read more
