This was a last minute idea late on a Saturday afternoon to head out and get a pedicure and we stumbled upon Synergy as they were one of the only ones still open. Wow, I wish we would have kept on driving!! First when you walk in, the place is clean, the people friendly. But then when the pedicure started I knew it was going to get worse. And well it did, at the point where she sliced the side of my toe and it wouldn't stop bleeding is when I knew I wouldn't be returning!! Also the leg massage lasted all of 5 minutes, not relaxing and terrible. She did a really bad job on painting my toes as well. Been to this salon for a handful of times. Loving the services and those ladies that work there. Always get the top notch services with sea salt scrub and hot stone massage for my pedicure. And my gel nail always last for weeks. They even do special designs as long as you could show a pictures of it. I went back to Synergy for the second time yesterday. I went in for my appointment excited and hoping that it would be just as great as the previous time. In some ways, it was. And in others it wasn't. When I walked in the door, I was greeted kindly and only had to wait a couple minutes for a nail tech to finish up with their previous client and get to me. I had two nice ladies work on my nails and they both engaged in conversation with me and it was a very enjoyable experience. However, about an hour into my appointment, two young kids came into the door and walked into the back of the building into what seemed like an office. They were quiet for about 30-45 minutes and then one of the kids kept coming up to my nail tech and asking her to do stuff on her phone. She said that he was her child. He was cute and shy and the first few times it happened it didn't really bother me. But it kept happening consistently for the rest of the time I was in the salon. Also, at one point both kids got restless and started running around in the back and screaming. It was very disruptive to the quiet, relaxing atmosphere of the nail salon. It seems pretty unprofessional to bring your children into the workplace and let them run around and cause disturbances. Additionally, I wanted to get holographic nails for the first time and I was pretty excited to try something new. I sat down, picked out the color of holo that I liked and my nail tech started her work. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes, my nails were done and they looked really pretty and well done. I went up to the cash register to pay the 30 bucks for the gel plus the 10 dollar tip for the great service. When I pulled out my debit card, the man told me that it would be 45 dollars instead of the 30 because of the chrome powder. I was surprised at the price jump, but it made sense, so I payed the extra and still gave the 10 dollar tip. However when I left the salon, I started thinking and I talked this over with my parents too, that they should've told me up front before I chose the holographic nail polish about the extra charge. I feel like they wanted to make the extra money so they didn't bother telling me so I'd be forced into paying for it. Nowhere does it specify that chrome powder is extra and even if it did, the nail techs should still tell their clients just so they know. If I had known that I would've had to pay $15 more, I would've chosen another polish instead. I'm frustrated by all of this. But I have to say, the overall service and friendliness of the staff is very impressive and they make you feel very welcome and comfortable so props to them on that UPDATE: I'm sad now cause my polish has already started to peel off and It's only been 4 days since I got them done :( read more

Mary is a delight to be around... she does an amazing job with the lash application. I have on the flares (only 20 dollars initially, then 5 for fixes). I had them applied over a month and a half ago- they still look beautiful! Since getting them put on I've had 4 friends go for the same application. It's so much fun being a girl and Synergy makes it affordable to try out these fun little things. Also! I went for a massage with David recently- he has a special through April for a one hour hot stone massage (only 40 bucks) and it was the BEST massage I've ever had. LOVE Synergy! read more

OUTSTANDING JOB GO HERE!! I had the best experiance, I walked in without appt. and they fit me right in for one of the BEST mani/pedi's EVER!! They soaked off my old acrylic nails very gently and painlessly. Then I got the shellac manicure which is fabulous and great pedicure at a great price too! They do sugar scrub, parafin wax and a hot towel around your legs, which was heavenly. The decor was really relaxing but fun and every color of O.P.I. you could ask for! Thank you for the apology. I would rather not come back as my nails had bubbles in three to four nails that I noticed within a couple of hours. The paint chipped within 2 days. The manicurist was nice and your salon was very clean which I did like. However, when I asked you repeatedly to call in my credit card, you specifically stated that my bank was not answering the phone. Those were your exact words. Your salon is clean. Your service left much for wanting. I waited for twenty minutes and was insulted that you insinuated that my bank was not answering the phone. Those card machines do not call the banks directly, they call the service provider (visa, mastercard etc) to get authorization. Also, if you knew that the machine was having problems, why would you ask me for another credit card, as though it was my issue? I had high hopes based on the yelp reviews going into this salon, and I am disappointed. read more

When I got there, what a cute little nail salon, and Brittney was at the desk who walked me through the nail colors and got me to my seat. Felt compelled to write a new review since it is now under new management. Still love this place! They have redecorated and repainted it and have now added even more nail polishes if that's even possible. And as a bonus, my favorite girl Lean continues to work there. I have had Tony and another girl as my nail technicians as well though, and both were great. I have moved to another city and had tried three different salons but just have to keep coming back! I actually really like this place, but it's a little pricey. For a pedicure alone I think it was $30? and then addn'l $7 for french. On the upside, they were extremely friendly. The salon was really cute and clean. I really liked that they have autoclaves in view. I'm not sure if they do this for everyone but they made a baggy for me with the scubbers they used just for me. So they don't reuse them! Their chairs are really comfortable and the massage feature is good. They have jets umm...what else....oh what was a really nice touch was they use a salt or sugar scrub? on your feet and legs and then wrap it with a warm towel. It was really relaxing. My feet looked really moisturized and soft from the scrub. So I would say this would be a nice treat once in a while. read more

First timer to Synergy and will definitely go back! Very clean and the atmosphere is very relaxing. I got a manicure and pedicure and loved every second of it! I like my nails to be very "natural" looking and tend to always get french tips, and I'm SUPER PICKY about how they should look. They came out perfect! I read the other reviews about the lash extensions and just want to add my 2 cents. I have an amazing lash technician who does my lash extensions, so while I can't necessarily speak for or against Synergy's services in this area, I would like to note: Lash extensions need to be applied by someone thoroughly trained and they should be using MEDICAL GRADE adhesive to apply the lashes. If put on correctly, they should look natural, should last from 2-6 weeks, with some minimal filling, IF YOU TAKE CARE OF THEM PROPERLY and YES there are specific guidelines for caring for your lashes. You can NOT remove the lashes yourself without damaging your natural lashes or ripping them out. There is a special product the lash technician uses to remove the lashes for you. Yes, THE TECHNICIAN has to remove them for you, you can't do it yourself, unless you want to risk eye problems from getting the stuff in your eyes. It is very unfortunate the 2 reviewers experienced such a negative outcome with the lashes. :( I would be extremely upset if I had experienced the same thing. If the person @ Synergy did not explain all of the above to you, then that is just bad business and they should not offer the service until they have perfected it. But if you were informed and didn't follow the guidelines, you can't be mad at the results. Hope that doesn't offend anyone. read more
