Really enjoyed the food and service. The place is pretty nice inside with comfy booths. The orange chicken, Kung pao chicken, and egg drop soup were all delicious! The sushi was good, not the best I've had but no complaints! The Sakura roll had a bit of wasabi in it which I'm not a fan of, wish they'd have left that out as it comes on the side as well. I've been to this place when it was the old owners. Shut down happened and we haven't been back. Decided to go after craving Asian food and seeing they have a good mix. Waiter does have a heavy accent and seems shy. I feel bad for all the people bashing him on here saying he doesn't speak English. If you're reading this, I'm sorry for all the a-holes on here. The order arrived very quick which was great but they could have spent that extra time making a quality order. The tempura was barely cooked. Picked a piece up and it literally landed in my hand, there was no indication that it was cooked for longer than to get the batter to stay on. Gross. And since when does an Asian restaurant use pickles as part of their tempura? Gross again. On the the lo mein. I have had many dishes of lo mein but never did they taste close to this. If I were blindfolded I would not have recognized the dish. Some sort of unusual spice in it made the dish taste horrible. All in all...I had to give it one star to get the review posted, otherwise it would have gotten none. This place will not get another chance to let me waste my money on. read more

We've eaten here twice now and loved it both times! We loved the fried rice, the potstickers, the veggie spring rolls, the bao, and the sushi, but the sweet and sour pork was my personal favorite. Dreadful food. If you want overpriced Chinese food this is for you! Paper menus, super oily food, and days old fish from the sushi bar. Came here for a 1 year anniversary, was served eggplant soaked in ounces of vegetable oil, rotted mackerel sushi, and over all gross environment. I hate to bash places but maybe this is just the theme of the city of Yucaipa, very few gems. But seem to be a few more legit dishes. Have had several items. Most of them have needed a little doctoring--missing a little flavor. Items marked spicy are not spicy at all. But you can add that. Veggies are not over cooked which seems to be an issue at a lot of Chinese-American places. Overall we have had the three cup tofu (4/5: nice light ginger flavor), mapo tofu (2/5: no peppercorns or chiles), chicken and broccoli (4/5: good broccoli! Needed a bit of soy sauce), Kung pao chicken (3/5: decent--flavor needs pumped up and again, no spice), veggie bao (5/5: these were good!! Came with a tasty sauce. Got them pan fried), Di san xian (4/5: fried potatoes and veggies--tastes similar to other places' versions), Dried green beans (4/5: lots of garlic!). The Salmon Lover is on of my favorite sushi and the Broccoli Beef are my favorite and my lady loves the spicy boiled fish. Sodas are served in a can and no refills without buying another can, water would appear to be unfiltered tap water, I ordered Bento box with orange chicken, chicken pieces were over cook and portion was small around a half cup, two spring rolls were decent, California roll was grocery store quality. My wife's Dynamite Roll took way to long to arrive, we finished the misso soup and my entire entrée and still waited awhile for her roll. They gave an apology barely, but nothing else. The sushi was paper thin and cut very narrow. It was mostly rice! No wonder he suggested it... They make a fortune on that plate! 12 tablespoons of rice for $25.00! Not enough fish to even say there was any... Very Disappointing :( I eat at a lot of Sushi places and have never felt so cheated as I did here. Tried Bella & Yang for first time. Family run business. Bella was very inviting. Oscar ran the bar. I was impressed all the drinks had fresh fruit.. not the disgusting pre mix you find at most places. Definitely need patience, but we were just enjoying the conversation. First time a craft cocktail has been made in Yucaipa.. Hopefully they expound upon it. Had the dumplings and potstickers, they were very tasty. Oscar was the highlight, bright young man. Came back today and spent $35 dollars on two meals and a yellow tail roll. The Kung Pao chicken was very underwhelming the chicken was barely cooked and the flavor just wasn't there. That's when we noticed a nice long hair in the meal and kinda ruined the rest of the dinner. The rolls were also falling apart and didn't taste that fresh. THE BEST Asian food in town. The food is delicious, the owner and employees are great, the inside environment is nice, and the overall business is very efficient. We came to eat dine-in on thanksgiving 2021 they were the only few places open , Bella was there owner and was super nice and helpful and the cook Mr Yang made me vegetable fried rice w tofu and added shiitake mushrooms also made me a special house hot sauce dressing not on the menu , also I ordered the garlic green beans that was perfectly cooked and not spicy to share with my wife , she ordered calamari that was more meat than breaded perfectly cooked not too greasy , also she had the egg drop soup w wonton strips on the side way better than egg flower soup from other places . Also my wife ordered the Chicken Katsu plate also amazing taste ,then she had the sweet bean paste bao that she enjoyed. Mr Yang also recommended the Kirin Ichiban large Malt beer that was super carbonated cold and smooth for malt beer and I had a Sapporo beer on tap also great , wife also said her Thai tee was great honestly the prices were great for such high quality tasting food that we ate all but the left over chicken that we took home and can have for Lunch the next day . We will be returning to this great place , also the bathrooms are super clean as was the entire restaurant also nice bar in the middle with color changing lights . It used to be called Toro Bowl , now with Mr Yang as lead cook I don't think you can order anything from the menu and not be happy w the taste . Thanks again for helping us on thanksgiving and so nice to meet you by name and enjoyed conversation with all the great staff .
