Not a good experience. Went with my best friend and her family and was not a good experience from the start. The dresses were overpriced and customer service was not good. One of the consultants was very rude and made her actually cry. Would not recommend this place! This is not the first time we have heard this kind of comment about this store. The service and attitude during the try on/ordering process was day and night compared to when we picked up the dress six months later. I expected to receive the same great service at the end that I received at the beginning, but this is NOT what you will get from Bella Bridal Boutique! In Nov 2017, our daughter was shopping for her wedding dress. She tried a few different shops and they all were excellent. However, our daughter like the sales rep (Emily) at Bella Bridal Boutique. Emily was very attentive, patient and very pleasant during the try on/ordering process. After trying on more than a dozen dresses, she found the one she loved and paid 60% down to secure the order. Emily informed her at this time that it would take up to six months for the dress to arrive, that any alterations would be done by a second party and that they would provide a list of recommended alteration shops. Our daughter informed Emily that she lived overseas and her parents didn't live in San Antonio so it may take longer to pick up the dress and they said that will not be an issue. On 19 Apr 2018, I received a phone message from Bella Bridal informing me that our daughter's dress had arrived. I called them back to remind them that our daughter was overseas and we didn't live in San Antonio. The lady on the phone only said that they could only hold the dress for 30 days. I received another phone message from Bella Bridal on 27 Apr informing me that if I didn't pick the dress within 10 days of its arrival, there will be a late charge which they did not inform us about during the call telling us the dress had arrived. I called them to confirm their message and was told if the balance is not paid within 10 day of the dress arriving, there will be a late fee and that we must pick up the dress within 30 days. My husband and I went to Bella Bridal on 28 Apr @1045. I could see the employees inside but the door was locked and no one came to the door. The door was unlocked 15 min later Emily was not working so we told the sales rep that we were there to pick up our daughter's dress. When she returned with the dress, she handed me the bag while another rep stated that there was a balance due. While my husband was paying the balance, I asked to look at the dress and the first rep opened it for me. Since it had been six months from when we ordered the dress, we forgot about the alteration arrangements so I asked and all they said was they put business cards in the dress bag. My husband asked them what if there are defect with the dress and they stated that the seamstress will take care of any issues. There was only one other customer in the store and several employees but our questions and wanting to see the dress before we left the shop seemed to be an inconvenience to the people who are there to help the customer. After waiting six months, the bag should be opened to ensure the customer is getting correct dress, all alteration information should be verbally repeated and the shop should ensure the customer doesn't have any questions. Since Bella Bridal Boutique is a small shop, you expect to get small shop like service. But, if you expect this from Bella Bridal, you will be very disappointed in the end. I DEFINITELY WOULD/COULD NOT RECOMMEND BELLA BRIDAL BOUTIQUE TO ANYONE. read more

Horrible experience...I came in and felt like I was only there for the owner to make another sale. I was not a bride - but merely a number on a list. I had been to Impressions the day before and was treated like a bride! Here it was throwing dresses on and off every few seconds! The owner helped me and was very rude to my family as well. We were all very well mannered and low maintenance. I came in knowing the styles I wanted to try on and my priorities on the look of the dress. In the middle of my appointment she started looking into her next appointments files to be ready for them! Very very very rushed appointment! I left and had to have a drink at lunch cause I felt so flustered and stressed from the owners poor service! read more

This was the first of two appointments in the search for my daughter's wedding dress. The store is spacious, well lit, with a nice comfy seating area in the middle. Nice selection of dresses, not overwhelming, reasonably priced, and not in bags which made it easy to go back and forth looking at dresses. The consultants were VERY helpful in helping my daughter determine what she wanted, as she really didn't have much of an idea. After trying on 4-5 dresses, she thought she found "the one". They encouraged us to go to the second appointment and to call if we wanted to come back. We did and didn't find anything that compared, and so returned. Tried the dress on again, this time "jacking her up" and that sealed the deal! After saying "YES" they had sparkling wine for us to toast our good fortune, too! I cannot begin to tell you how relieving it was to find this place. I have some crazy circumstances surrounding my wedding and moving out of the country two months before the date. Alexandra and Tracey took all my stress away. I do not write reviews lightly and I will tell everyone in San Antonio to go there first to save you some time and questionable experiences other places. I absolutely LOVED this boutique. My planner set up an appointment for me ahead of time l and I arrived on time to my appointment. The staff was waiting for me and greeted me right away. They were so accommodating and made the experience all about me. I was so excited the night before and this experience was everything I dreamed about and more! I was paired with Jill and she was so knowledgeable and picked out the PERFECT dress for me. This was the only place I tried and would never go anywhere else in San Antonio. After I said yes to the dress they popped a bottle of complimentary champagne for myself and guest I brought. Just to mention a little about their customer service, my friends baby was crying and the staff could tell I wanted a group picture. One of the staff members, Caroline, asked to hold and rock my friend's baby just so she could enjoy the time with me and take a picture. TOP NOTCH service there. Cute place, nice staff, organized and easy to understand the layout as far as price and design. I was never told that the only sizes they had were 10-12 to try on. So, all the dresses that I loved and wanted to see I could not get into. My first time trying on wedding dresses and it was the worst feeling ever and somewhat embarrassing. I really enjoyed my experience at this bridal boutique. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. They made me feel important and were kind to all my family. I unfortunately did not buy my dress here though. After trying on a few dresses I thought I had found my dress, but had another appointment elsewhere so I went and found a dress I liked a little more and it was much cheaper. Wedding dress shopping could be one of the most exciting experiences that a Bride-to-Be looks forward to and I could not be more disappointed with my experience at Bella Bride. First off, I made my appointment at one of the bridal fairs and was called to confirm the day before and I was never once told that there would be a time limit on my appointment. We were introduced to Caroline as soon as we walked in and from that moment there was a very weird vibe. I showed her pictures and immediately she found the exact dress that I was wanting to try on. It was so much fun to try on a wedding gown for the very first time and despite the vibe I was so happy. I was enjoying our time and I asked to try on a specific dress "one more time" hoping that dress would be "the one" and Caroline rudely looked at me and said with attitude, oh no we do not have time for that. And then without even anyone paying attention rushed me saying, so do you want to "say yes to the other dress" that I WASN'T EVEN WEARING. We were basically kicked out as they moved on to the next appointment. I hope they know that I did try on that exact dress on "one more time" and I fell in love, but I drove all the way to Austin to purchase it to avoid giving Bella Bride San Antonio my business. My experience at Bella Bride Boutique was easy, helpful and smooth. I went in around August just to look at dresses and ended up scheduling a fitting for end of October. My wedding was March 2019 so this gave me plenty of time to research designers and styles the boutique had in store. The day of my fitting I walked in feeling excited and a bit nervous. However, Caroline knew exactly who I was and greeted me with a smile and hug upon arrival. She asked all the important questions like what style, color, designer, etc. She was super informative on styles that matched my height and figure (5 ft 4in, size 8-10, large bust) which was amazing. I tried on 2-3 dresses that were exactly what I wanted and I was not comfortable in them at all. At that time, Caroline said she had something in mind and to keep my options open as the dress was everything I did not want; strapless and fit and flare. As soon as I tried on the 4th dress she suggested I knew it was THE ONE. These ladies know a thing or two about wedding gowns and the different shapes/sizes of women. I tried on a total of 10 dresses, just in case, but I went back to the dress that made me feel like a bride. The price was under budget so I added the removable shoulder straps and a cathedral veil. The process was simple and satisfying. Caroline called while I was out of the country when the dress arrived early November and even went out of the way to text me that I could pick up anytime during business hours. She gave me few alteration recommendation to call for free consolations which was very helpful. I went to Bella Bride Boutique after going to David's Bridal, where I felt like I was a cow being herded through the dress buying process as quickly as possible. It was an absolutely horrific experience. I had tried one other small boutique and had a great experience, but I wanted to try just one more shop before making a decision. I am SO glad I did. From the moment I walked into this beautiful boutique, I was immediately impressed. It was spotless, well organized, and the dresses were displayed perfectly. There was room on the racks to actually see the dresses on display, unlike most shops where hundreds of dresses are smushed together, leaving you to rely on your imagination to guess what the dress looks like. The young ladies working there were sweet, enthusiastic, and gave me all of their attention. They allowed me to try on as many dresses as I liked. They paid close attention to the look I was going for, but were sure to offer their expertise on what would look the best. I finally found my dream dress, and they made the event such a special moment in the wedding planning process. They even offered my party and I a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate. I will say that this salon doesn't have hundreds of dresses, but that is actually a positive. Everything they do have is immaculate, and they don't just clutter their boutique with ugly, outdated, filler-dresses.
