Everything was going well until it wasn't.... The enjoyment and fun came to a quick halt when one of the owners Christine made a rude comment regarding the time of the appt. It was taking quite a while because there were so many to try on... but I was going as quick as I could - I was hot, tired, and definitely ready to go. Once we finally got to the measurement point, Christine made a comment about when we were leaving without realizing I was standing there. My stylist made a joke and said "Christine relax!" to try and lighten the mood and show that I was there. Once she saw me she was like "Oh I didn't realize you guys were there". This was very unprofessional and horrible customer service! If you are in a service industry and you wanna talk about a client, you BEST do it when you know they're not there. I was uncomfortable and so turned off. I immediately said to my party that I was not buying a dress there and I wouldn't recommend anybody does. And now as I read other reviews I see other comments about "rude", "disrespectful" and "dismissive staff - so I know I am not alone. read more

I had such an amazing time at this Bridesmaids dress shop. We had set up an appointment and were the only group in the shop for the majority of our time there. I have 4 bridesmaids total including my maid of honor as well as my Mom joining us in the shop. Angela carefully went through each dress with us and we determined if we wanted to try it on or not. There is a large variety in style and price which is nice so that everyone's needs are catered too. After going through the dresses and narrowing down the search, everyone started trying them on. There are about 4 dressing rooms so my friends did end up sharing when a second group came in, which was fine. They also have a selection of dresses for the Mother of the bride and mother of the groom dresses available too! My Mom was able to take a look at some that she could wear for the wedding, this place is very inclusive which we liked. The layout of the store makes sense and there was plenty of room for everyone. The couch to sit on was very clean and comfortable. They also provided us with little snacks and water which I was not expecting! It was a cute touch. One of my favorite aspects is that everyone was measured and our favorite dresses were put into a virtual showroom that we all have access too. So if we do end up going with them for the dresses then we don't have to travel back to the store and we can just order them online. Overall, everyone had a lot of fun and we were able to select a group of dresses that we all fell in love with. read more

What to say? scheduling appointments should of been better. When we got there at our time there was no dressing rooms and so many people there that they couldn't focus on us at all. It was just an overwhelming experience, but maybe if I decide to come back for a relook it might be better . Give it a try tho . read more

I came here with three of my bridesmaids for find their dresses for my wedding. We were in the shop alone which was awesome and there were some treats and waters waiting for us when we arrived. The shop is on the newer side as they just opened in July. It is nicely done inside and there are lots of dress options as well. Angela helped us and she was was so nice and accommodating. I had spoken with her previously about the dresses I wanted my girls to try and she made sure all those dresses were pulled before we got there. There was also one they didn't have that she was able to get for our appointment which was a nice surprise. If you're looking for a nice experience for your bridesmaids this is the place for you. I have out of town bridesmaids and they create an online showroom for you so that your girls can vote on the dress and order through there. I'm very happy with the experience we had here. read more

I will never refer any friends or family here to get their bridesmaid dresses, the service is rude, dismissive and appalling. I had to try on bridesmaids dresses twice. Once with the bride where I decided on a Jenny Yoo dress in Petal and a second time weeks later when the brides sister voiced that she was pissed with me for picking the same dress as her. I had no idea I had the same dress as her. The first time, it was just the bride and I and my experience was fine. Nothing special, I definitely didn't love how the dressing rooms were just a piece of cloth on a wooden pole. But anyway, I am a size 4 and yet the salesperson told me to order a size 10/12 and that I'd have to make alterations, which I assume was a ploy to get me to pay them a lot of money for alterations. So while I'm swimming in the size 8 dress, she's telling me I need an even larger dress. It made zero sense. For the second scheduled appointment, I showed up with my mother and specifically notified BellaBridesmaid the reason why I was coming back to try on dresses again. When I arrived, they acted like they had no idea why I was there, they were confused and told me that I only had 15 minutes to try on dresses again. I can't help that I had to change the dress, it was already a frustrating situation so it would've been nice for more understanding and less snobbery from the salesperson. Also, if I'm buying a $280 dress, give me the time of day to actually try on dresses like I scheduled. If my appointment was a problem, why wasn't it mentioned to me over a phone call or email? I ended up rushing through trying on dresses and picked out one I liked. I ordered the dress in August of last year and picked up my dress in Spring of this year. I didn't try it on when I brought it home, let alone ever take it out of the bag because in June of this year, the bride told me she no longer wanted me in her bridal party and it would just be her sisters in the bridal party. Lovely. When I called and emailed BellaBridesmaids, they told me I couldn't return the dress despite my situation. I asked if they could just buy back the dress and use it as a floor model, but no. I was met with short dismissive answers, zero understanding and was told to sell the dress on PoshMark. Well I posted it on PoshMark & guess what? It's still sitting there months later unsold despite significantly lowering the price. I am now down $200+ and appalled by how BellaBridesmaid has treated this situation. I would give 0 stars for this establishment if I could. The attendants could not be LESS interested in their jobs. The service is absolutely horrendous, downright rude, unfriendly, dissmissive, and disparaging. Trying on dresses can already be a difficult thing to cope with for some women, and typically in a shop like this, I expect the attendants to be warm, welcoming, and encouraging. Or at the very least polite. Our group felt body-shamed, rushed, and unwelcome. To pick what dress we wanted to try on, one of the attendants would hold up a dress and we would have to raise our hand if we wanted to try that dress on. This to me did not seem like the best way to go about this. It was difficult to see the dress in it's entirity and you couldnt see what size the dress was to see if it would even remotely fit in order to try it on. Additionally, once someone rasied their hand to try that dress on, they kept that whole pile together so it was hard to tell who raised their hand for what dress. If we had questions about the dresses (i.e. size, price) the attendant became very annoyed. If a dress is not available to try on in our size OR if it is out of our price range, I think we should be able to ask that question outright before trying it! She walked away to speak to the owner about this as if it was ludacris to ask those questions. Then they took our sizes and information and entered it into their system, had us copy it down, and then we had to log in and enter all of the information on our own. I could understand them having us look it over to make sure it's accurate but to have us redo it completely seems redundant. Overall, something that should be a fun activity for the bride and her bridesmaids turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. When she went in to set the appoitment and view some dresses ahead of time, of course they were nothing but nice to her. I suppose once they knew we all had no other choice but picking a dress that day (so they were getting a sale either way), they just simply did not care and customer service left the building entirely. read more

We had an appointment that had been booked well over 2 weeks prior. We walked in to a packed shop with at least 2 other bridal parties there (if not 3). The bride had come here prior with the maid of honor and pre-choose a group of dresses she liked and wanted us to try on. The place was aware of these dresses and were unprepared by only having a few of the dresses the bride choose ready for us. We were given very minimal attention, not introduced to the lady helping us (she was EXTREMELY rude), not shown the color of the dresses the bride described, and were told to order 2 sizes too big even those of us who tried on smaller sizes. The lady helping us looked at me with disgust and goes "I need to measure you because you are bigger". I just went through a major life change and gain 15 pounds (that have already started to shred off). I told the lady I am going to be sizing down as I am not my normal body weight at the moment and she put up a fight with me telling me she has to tell me the size I am right now even though the wedding is over 10 months away. I tried in (and fit into) the dress I ordered in a size smaller then the lady suggested and decided I know my body and want to order 2 sizes down from suggested. I received an email within a half hour after leaving asking me if I meant to order that size even though they sized me up. On the other side of the spectrum, another of the bridesmaids is very petite and the lady helping us "claimed" she had absolutely nothing smaller for her try on and she has to just deal with what they have and she'll need alterations. After about 45 minutes the lady randomly found one of the dresses we were trying on in the smaller size after completely body shaming so many of us who have all different size bodies. Personally I have been in wedding and know my dress size, so if you are someone who knows your bridesmaids dress size tell the lady to F off and get whatever size you know works for you. To the lady helping us tonight, learn some better people skills, it's not attractive to be so unaccepting! read more

The point, the staff was extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming, made us feel awkward when bridesmaid dress shopping is supposed to be a fun girls day! Disgraceful. I am in a wedding next year for my friend who lives in central NJ. She came today to Long Island for me to try on bridesmaid dresses. She was in contact with the Huntington location prior, and said that only I will be trying on dresses, as the rest of the bridesmaids have to go to other locations near them. They had no issue, and were very accommodating via email. When we arrived we were greeted by Andrea, who was standoffish, and we were the only appointment for the hour. She advised us that because the bride had started at another location that this was only a complimentary session and that all dresses would need to be ordered at the first, original location. I suppose because she would not be getting the sale, she became even more cold, unfriendly, and overall annoyed. We were basically asked to leave at the end. It made our fun day of trying on bridesmaid dresses, uncomfortable and awkward, especially because they were told weeks before the details of the visit. I hope that she might have only been having a bad day, but for anyone who is a bridesmaid or a bride and planning on using Bella, know that whatever location you go to first, that is where you need to order, as well as out of state/country bridesmaids. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Not only did the sales associate let a bridal party pick a dress style unflattering on multiple bridesmaids, but they provided a tailor that RUINED MY DRESS. I had 5 fittings with their recommended tailor, who not only was nasty and made comments about my size/body, but she wasn't able to properly make alterations. Lin (the tailor) complained she couldn't see, that the dress couldn't be fixed because of the way I looked, and that I would just have to deal with it. She ruined the back of my dress and it now looks like I have a tail. I cannot believe that this is the way that Bella Bridesmaid conducts business. I have never been more disappointed in a shopping experience in my life. I have less than a week until I have to wear this dress and have been put in an awful situation. (Side note- when I received the dress, I spoke with multiple sales associates and the manager to try to find a solution in that this dress was not flattering. I went here a few months ago to order a bridesmaid dress for my friends wedding in TX. The shop is very clean but there is only street parking and the women there were not very helpful. I'm not sure if it's because the bride wasn't there with me and the Austin store was getting credit for the sale, but they kind of just gave me the dress options they had (did not have all the dress options available) and didn't come back until the end when I picked out my dress. I felt very uncomfortable when she took the measurements and gave me what she thought my size should be. It was larger than I expected and she told me I definitely shouldn't go any smaller...I just got my Beautiful Jenny Yoo dress mailed to me and it's a full size, possibly 2 sizes too big. The dresses are not returnable or exchangeable and they make that very clear from the beginning. Now for the shipping: I got an email about a week ago specifically saying I would need to sign for my FedEx package and if I was not available to sign at 8PM it would be mailed back and I would have to pay to ship it again. When I got home from work (at about 5:15) the package was sitting on my porch without being signed for. As a plus sized girl I did not enjoy my experience here and for the cost of the dress I was expect much more from the customer service. Better off going to David's bridal or maybe a different store that carries similar brands. read more

I can't say enough good things about Bella bridesmaids in Huntington. I went in with my mom and sister looking for bridesmaid dresses for my June wedding. The whole experience was so relaxing and fun! We had the whole place to ourselves. They had hundreds of dresses and really helped me narrow down exactly what color, designer, and fabric I liked. They then had my sister, MOH, try on so many different styles to see exactly what we liked. I now have a beautiful online organized showcase for my bridesmaids to go look at and select which dress they would like. I went to Bella Bridesmaids originally in March 2020 to shop for dresses for my bridesmaids - the staff was beyond helpful, kind and accommodating, helping everyone find a dress that they felt beautiful in! I visited this boutique in August when another appointment I was supposed to have fell through and needed to find somewhere that carried Jenny Yoo. These women were WONDERFUL and the studio is pretty and very clean. Wayyyy better than the Bella Bridesmaids I went to in NYC. I was able to make a same-day appointment and they were SO helpful and patient while I picked out the styles I wanted to try and had to try a couple of them more than once before being able to make a decision.
