Believe us when we say DO NOT buy from this store... I'm honestly embarrassed of how naive I was thinking Bella Bridesmaids was worthy of my trust and money. I was excited to work with them as I have friends who had worked with other Bella locations. But unfortunately like many other brides in this review section, I was ghosted and have yet to know where my dresses are. In Sept I popped up to the shop and had a pleasant in-store experience looking at all of the dress options for my bridesmaids. All 4 were ordered within a couple weeks. My contracted delivery date rolls up and I check in with the store to see if they had processed my order yet. No answer. 6 days later still no answer. Eventually I was able to get someone from the store on a quick call just to be ghosted again despite being promised an ETA. SO infuriating The people running this location are either entirely incompetent or are running a full on scam. Bella Bridesmaids corporate needs to do something about this location and prevent further frustration and heartbreak. read more

First stepped into Bella Bridesmaids in the Marina in January of this year, as a bridesmaid for a friend who had set up a fitting for a few of us girls with her preferred dresses. The initial fitting was a bit awkward and felt like some of our questions and concerns weren't addressed during our time in the store, but we went ahead and ordered several dresses through Bella Bridesmaids for over $300 each and the estimated date of delivery for mid-May. Cut to mid-May, our lovely bride calls Bella Bridesmaids to check when we can pick up the dresses and is unable to get ahold of anyone for days - this is via email, phone calls, and texts. FINALLY she gets ahold of someone in-store who then informs her, the order was never placed for the dresses. The dresses we ordered and PAID FOR 4 months earlier. At this point the wedding is less than two months away and we have had to start from scratch in finding new gowns in time. I think the worst part is the lack of care on Bella Bridesmaid's side. There were no solutions given, no apologies dealt. They also were unable to reverse the charges for the dresses, instead having to Venmo us for the total, which seemed incredibly odd to all parties. This is not the first time I have heard of Bella Bridesmaids blatantly taking money from its customers just to not put in the order request. I highly HIGHLY recommend you do not place an order through this location. If you have to shop here, plan to take a dress with you same-day. read more

I'm writing in regards to an experience from this week. My cousin is getting married in June and we ordered the bridesmaids dress back in February. They originally told us to order the dress online and said that they would follow up. It's May now, and with the wedding just a month and half away, you would think that we would've heard back by now. We tried to contact them with no luck. We called over 50 times on Thursday and they never picked up. All we need to know is, are we getting a dress before June 15th or not ?!? So in a panic, we hauled our way there after work and we can clearly see the manager Holly through the window. My cousin knocked and she came to the door but didn't let us in. We explained the situation and she said that she would email us by the end of the day as she couldn't check for us now . She also said to call and we told her her did ,and she said that number doesn't exist anymore. So why didn't you update your customer with that information! She also probably didn't let us in because she didn't want her customers inside to hear all the problems we were facing. Sneaky! They ended up getting back to us only after we reach out again. Now they said that they didn't order the dress for us and we didn't get charged but that was a lie. We in fact, did get charged. They weren't even apologic it. Well, maybe it didn't matter as it was too late to apologize, it's too late. We find that the customer service here isn't reliable and if I had known, I'd wouldn't have ordered the dress. Just the fact that they didn't even want to open the door, was a clear indicator that they don't value their customers.Their email etiquette was unprofessional. No one signed their name in the email, it's like no one wanted to take responsibility. Once they take your money, they will ghost you! With the wedding just a month away, they sure made us scramble. Now we have to spend more money and pay for expedited shipping with other places. We will end up spending more now. It's ashamed that this placed us named Bella because it's definitely not a beautiful establishment. read more

AVOID THIS STORE. We paid in full months ago for dresses and they have no sign of even shipping. We are now 2 weeks out from the wedding and needed to buy a backup option. We emailed Holly many times asking about what was happening and only received one saying basically that shipping was delayed, she'll let us know when they do. They won't come in time, she won't respond, this place is a scam, and I'm going to have to fight like hell to get our money back. Not worth the headache, find a place that isn't a scam. read more

I wish I had looked at the reviews on here before I visited the shop. I saw the Facebook event for their summer sample sale and drove an hour to attend the sample sale. When I arrived, I was met with a closed door and this sign that was posted. Notice the Facebook ad was only posted two days before I went on opening day the 18th, yet the door sign indicated they were already closed starting on the 16th! Wow, I don't think my experience could have been worse with this shop. My dresses were supposed to arrive in March after ordering them in November, but they didn't arrive as expected. The communication was ATROCIOUS. They didn't tell us the dresses were late, and refused to answer multiple phone calls or emails asking about them, so we were completely in the dark about the status of the dresses. We even tried going physically to the location during business hours, but the door was locked and they refused to let us in. We were so stressed! Eventually we had to buy backup dresses through Poshmark because we had so much trouble getting ahold of them. When they finally got back to us MONTHS later, they cheerfully told us they would arrive right before the wedding (leaving no time for tailoring) and they made some promises about refunding some of the cost due to their negligence, then promptly ghosted us AGAIN. Do NOT trust this shop! They are completely unreliable and will ghost you. This was by far the most frustrating service experience I had during my wedding. read more

We did not have a good experience at this store. I would not recommend. First of all, she has a dog. I LOVE dogs. I wanted to be nice to the dog and talk to the dog and she told me to leave the dog alone and please respect her wishes. Which is fine. The dog looked like it was older. It was her tone. Then I tried on a few dresses and she was very rude. She had an issue with the clips. We were not allowed to touch them. At one point I had a dress on and she went to clip me in and she got rough with me. Pulled the dress tight like she was pissed off and when I turned she pulled me back by the material on the dress. It's so difficult finding storefronts that carry bridesmaid dresses. It was so wonderful to find Bella bridesmaids. I scheduled an appointment, went in and had a lovely time trying on dresses. The Sf and Woodland locations are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and customer service met my expectations. They even offered to transfer dresses I wanted to try on from another one of their locations. I've found customer service has really gone down overall in every industry after the pandemic, but Bella Bridesmaids has made sure to continue to exceed customer service expectations and I appreciate them for making this stressful part of planning, less stressful. read more

DO NOT go here. Working with Bella bridesmaids has been A complete nightmare. My bridesmaids dresses were ordered and confirmed on 11/20/24. By January I reached out for updates and information on the flower girl dress contract because that one was never sent (my SIL ordered it on 12/28/24). It took them weeks to get back to me. Now it is February and I still didn't receive the contract for the flower girl dress. I called, texted, emailed, multiple times. Nothing at all. On 2/14/25 I get an email saying NONE of my bridesmaids dresses were ever sent to the designer!! It is 3 MONTHS before my wedding! Their solution? To offer dresses completely different than what we had chosen or a refund. Holly says she will be available for a phone call. I call 4 times and no answer. Now the voicemail box is full. No one is answering texts or emails again. I spent $1000 here with all 4 dresses and now I need a complete refund and to find a place that can work with such a tight turn around. Echoing some of the more recent reviews that communications with this store has been awful. My bridesmaids dresses were supposed to arrive on 1/31 and I received no news. A week after that deadline (which was on my contract), I reached out for an update via email. For 3 weeks, there was no response despite me following up multiple times via email and phone call (always straight to voicemail). Please save yourself the stress and go elsewhere. Giving 1 star for Holly being nice during my in-person visit and 1 star for the dresses eventually arriving to my bridesmaids (although ~4 weeks late). However, I'm giving credit to the dresses arriving all to the Bella Bridesmaids social media team (a million stars for this team!). After not hearing anything from the SF team, I reached out to the Bella Bridesmaids main Instagram account, where I got a response within an hour. That team was SO kind & understanding, helped escalate the issue and got the dresses shipped to my bridesmaids. I would not recommend working with the SF team/store directly as communications post-purchase was awful and caused SO much stress. I'm all for empowering young women to own & operate a business, but I don't think Holly has enough experience to be running this place. read more

Updating my review that I wrote one month ago to let everyone know that we STILL have not received a dress that we paid IN FULL and ordered back in October of 2024 for my April 5, 2025 wedding. ONE DRESS. Not only that, but I have to initiate EVERY interaction with Holly. Any response I get is nothing but empty responses, and they come days after my initial correspondence. I've been told AT LEAST 3 times in the last month that my dress will be shipping by the end of the week and she will follow up with tracking information, and have gotten NOTHING. She has my wedding date wrong in my virtual showroom and I believe this is mainly what is causing all of these issues and that makes me SO ANGRY. My mother has now purchased a new dress and we are out almost $400 because of this JOKE of an establishment. I reached out to the social media team for the franchise as a whole and I hope I'm not the only one and I hope that they are TRULY EMBARRASSED at this particular location's lack of management and customer care. Holly can be as nice as she wants but that doesn't mean she should run a business. Save yourselves and DO NOT ORDER YOUR DRESSES FROM HERE. You are better off doing a virtual appointment directly through the designer you want to order from, taking your measurements, and ordering your dress that way. Originally, we came in for black chiffon dresses but with the help of Tatianna we changed the material to satin. Bella Bridesmaids has a whole array of dresses for every body type. I fell in love with the Jenny Woo collection and was super happy with the final dresses my bridesmaids selected. Not only did she let me try on like 20+ dresses (I'm fast and decisive), but I found 4 that I am super excited about. She was communicative about the next steps of ordering to try them on in store, and I am truly looking forward to it. I've tried on so many dresses at stores and their selection is unbeatable in how many they have. All of the dresses were within my price point and I am looking forward to saying yes to my second dress! The service was fantastic and she was super accommodating for my disabled mom. I came here as a bride looking for bridesmaid dresses. I am so glad I came! While I did not ultimately pick dresses from this store due to cost for some of my bridesmaids, my consultant was soooo helpful! She taught me a lot about fabric, style, etc that I will take with me! My overall experience with Bella Bridesmaids was decent, and that's solely due to my interaction with the franchise owner. The staff was pleasant as well, but the merchandise quality was far less than what I expected, especially for the price the charge. I ordered the Dessy twist dress for my bridesmaids, which apparently, is a dress the store does not carry (it can only be ordered and later shipped out after purchase). However, the specialist at the store suggested that my girls come in to try on a similar dress (just for sizing), which was made by a different designer. Everything went well at the fitting and everyone ordered their dress in their respective sizes. When the dresses arrived, we noticed that it was extremely thin and very transparent - you could literally see everything (private parts and all). A couple of my girls even had to send their dress back because it was unevenly cut at the bottom. It was very obvious and I was shocked that the manufacturer would even ship the dress out in such poor quality. After several problems with the dress, I was able to get in touch with the franchise owner who offered a couple of solutions to remedy the problem, which was kind of her, but still did not resolve the issue. At this point, my wedding was only a little less than 2 weeks away so you can imagine how stressed I was. With lots of brainstorming and trial and error, my girls were able to find a solution to the "see-through" problem, but then, on the day of my wedding we noticed that all the the dresses had issues at the seams. The stitching was off and some of the seams were terribly stitched. Thankfully, my bridesmaids pulled it together. They were troopers in spite of all the issues surrounding the dress. With regard to Bella Bridesmaids, I will never shop here again, note recommend to anyone. I'd say, if you do decide to purchase from Bella, please do your research and purchase a dress that's physically in the store. It can be pretty misleading otherwise. It was a headache, but I'm glad I was able to experience this to save other brides the trouble. read more

I did not have a good experience with Bella Bridesmaid SF because they would not schedule a weekend appointment for me, even though I was willing to book one that would work with their availability. My Maid of Honor lives in San Francisco and I wanted her to try on and pick dresses at the same time as the rest of the bridal party in Minnesota. It would work for us to do this on a weekend, but not during the week day since my friend would have to leave work by 3:30pm PT at the latest in order to make the last appointment of the day on MN time ( 4pm PT/ 6pm CT). They would not accommodate this request or fit her in for any length of time on a Saturday. I asked for a shorter appointment and they would not do it. They also do not have any online scheduling system, so I couldn't go that route. One of the main reasons I picked Bella was because they had stores in multiple locations. However, if they literally won't let my Maid of Honor come in for even a short time on the weekend because SF is not the "home" store then I don't see how they're different from any other shop. read more

Always a bridesmaid, never a...... you get the point. I have used Bella for two bridesmaid dress orders plus one recent visit to try on dresses as I get to actually CHOOSE the dress I get to wear this June (with some guidelines). Shwing! Each time I have been in (three to date) it is always pleasurable. The girls are friendly, efficient and definitely not pushy. They help you fix up the dress so it actually fits you (bonus if you're an 8 or 10) and they help you narrow down the lines as to not waste your time or theirs. I have never had an ordering problem or experienced any attitude issues. For pete's sake, I admire ANY girl who can deal with girls ALL DAY LONG :-) One new cool thing about Bella is that her array has grown so much since my first visit in 2003 - so many to choose from in the newer beautiful space. I was in town from Dallas, TX visiting my MOH who lives in San Fran. I love that they have locations all over the country since my 4 Bridesmaids all live in different cities. We tried on dresses by the designer LulaKate. I love that she allows you to mix and match your tops and skirts for the perfect customized dress. The sales ladies were so friendly, sweet, and helpful. WOW. What an incredible customer experience. I'm a bridesmaid [living in San Francisco] in a bridal party mostly based in the New York area, so trying on dresses collectively wasn't really an option. Bella's amazing crew in West Hartford and SF were beyond amazing - they coordinated dresses for me to try on remotely (amidst a global pandemic), safely, and quickly. How does this place only have three stars?! I used Bella Bridesmaid for my nine (yes, nine) bridesmaids for my wedding two years ago. Charmaine & Sarah were the absolute best. I felt like I took forever picking the perfect style and dress options for my wedding (as most all brides probably do), but you never felt rushed or bad about taking your time. As you can imagine, Bella had to communicate with 10 girls (myself included), which always comes with different timelines, budgets, etc. The entire thing went so smooth! Even when it probably didn't, in hindsight, I never knew about it. They were prompt with ordering and delivering our dresses and were the sweetest. I've been back a few times, most recently for one of my best friend Elizabeth's wedding, and it's so warming seeing them. Definitely go here! Amazing selection, and the best staff. read more

**Tip for Brides** - if you don't want to make your bridesmaids life hell between the costs & inconvenience, PLEASE avoid this place!!! If you notice, the one star reviews all have something in common.... They think this place sucks! I got fitted for a $285 bridesmaid dress, and got it back this week. When I came home to try it on, I was swimming in it! It was just too big, and I certainly have not lost any weight since I was fitted - although I wish that was the reason. I called them so that I could come back and get re-fitted, since they had clearly screwed up. They told me that they can't do this, but that I could use one of their recommended tailors...... to pay for their mistake. For nearly $300, they screw up my size and can't fix it? What's the point of booking an appointment a week in advance if they can't even fit me correctly?! This is absolutely absurd! Forget this place. It's over priced and has zero customer service! If I could give one recommendation about good business, that would be providing the service you pay for - which Bella Bridesmaid has not done in the slightest. They carry beautiful bridemaids dresses if you're willing to spend and average of $450. That was a little bit out of our budget for a bridesmaid dress. There were dresses in the $250 range but nothing to die for. I'm not sure if there are more than one consultant on site but when we went there was. Lauren was super helpful and showed us many different colors and styles. They have many styles long or short so you can pick whichever fits your look. There was a dress I loved there but I'm sure I can find something similar eleswhere for half the price. read more
