The second time, however, they had me waiting well past my appointment time, even though they knew I was there during my lunch break. I was passed from one nail technician then back to Lisa, the technician who was originally recommended to me. Unfortunately, my nails started breaking just three days later, and I ended up having to remove the acrylic set myself. The shape was uneven, and overall, the nails looked poorly done and sloppy. I decided to give them another chance today and came in for a new set. I specifically told Lisa multiple times that I like my nails long and skinny. She acknowledged my request but still gave me her version of "long and skinny," which was not what I asked for. Instead, they turned out short and bulky and completely opposite of what I asked for. To make matters worse, the polish application looks like something I could have done myself at home. There was an air bubble on my nails and Lisa also applied three coats of polish trying to correct it, but the finish is still patchy and full of imperfections. I really wanted to support this business because of the recommendation, but after multiple disappointing experiences, I don't feel the quality, attention to detail, or customer service justify the price. After giving them several chances, I won't be coming back. Not to mention, Lisa had the audacity to ask for a tip at the end of the appointment. Tipping is meant to reward good service and quality work. Despite the poor results during my previous visit, I still tipped her. After this experience, I found it inappropriate to be asked for a tip again when my concerns were ignored and the work was not completed as requested.

Granted, they are busy, so I can see why it's hard to fit an entire party getting pedicures next to each other. (One negative review) Could they have planned it better, sure. Honestly, the cost is very reasonable. Some nails pictured in the reviews do look undesirable and I wouldn't have been happy with them either. If you want to be in and out, you need to go to an actual salon that does one on one appointments. You will pay more but you will be taken most likely at your appointment time. They don't offer many designs like some solo nail techs do but for $40 for a fill vs over $100 at solo salons, its worth the savings. If you want a specific look for an event or wedding, find a solo nail tech in the valley and pay the extra for your nails for that time. This is like the super cuts of nails. First come, first serve and you roll the dice if it's up to your standard but you're also paying the cost equal to that. Can't have it both ways in my opinion. After I paid with a debit card I asked for a stamp on the loyalty card that I had picked up from the stack on the counter. I was told that you only get a loyalty stamp if you pay in cash. It's an experience extraordinaire! I had the pleasure of having Lilly perform my service. She is spectacular. I wrote notes on an index card outlining my likes, dislikes and some medical challenges. Lilly was attentive to every detail. She is very intuitive. The massage portion of the experience was perfect. She "knew" exactly where to apply more or less pressure on my feet, legs, head and shoulders. My toes look and feel fabulous! I am so grateful that I met Lilly.
