However, as an attendee, I was pleasantly surprised at what was here in the middle of an industrial area and would definitely keep this on my list of possible venues for events.

It felt intimate but spacious, with lots of options on where to hang out during the event. This place is a gem - so many people kept asking, "How did you find this place?!" We're so glad we did! We went with the barbecue dinner buffet option and folks were raving about it. There was more than enough to go around with lots of people getting seconds. We also opted for the flatbread pizza option during cocktail hour and did NOT regret it. The venue is already so gorgeous with all the lush greenery and flowers. We added lots of our own touches like Mexican flags, cacti on tables, table runners, etc. It was so much fun to be able to dress up the venue to reflect our personalities. Admission to tractor ride included picking a vegetable and animal feeding/petting. The market is adorable, and we really appreciated that many of the ingredients used in the prepared food sold are organic and locally sourced. We ordered the pizza and salad, and both were fresh and delicious; our kids enjoyed them too. Parking onsite is limited, but we had no trouble finding nearby street parking and walking over. There were also plenty of clean bathrooms, which is always a plus when visiting with young children. Overall, a fun, relaxing experience for families. Great place to take guests.

Lol. Okay. We just sat our things on the concrete under the umbrella hoping it wouldn't be long and enjoyed the pool. After checking a couple times and our encounter with the OTHER, older front desk lady; our room was ready at 4. That's check in time. The room was large and pretty nice; we did notice the floors were a bit "damp". The little patio with the chairs and view, very nice. We were able to hear the live music coming from marina bar as we were sitting outside of our room taking in the view. We took out a paddle boat that was complimentary at check in. The lake itself is very nice, pretty peaceful considering it sits smack-dab in the middle of a neighborhood. What makes my review a 3.8 isnt the accommodation. Recommended. Its front desk staff, in particular the second one i mentioned. She should enjoy her job more.

Upon arrival, we noticed chips and debris left on the carpet, which immediately suggested that the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed or properly inspected before check-in. In the bathroom, there was a woman's hair left in the shower, and some of the towels did not appear as fresh and clean as one would expect from a resort-level property. When staying at an upscale hotel or resort, cleanliness should be seamless and unquestionable. Guests should not have to inspect the carpet, shower, or towels and wonder whether the room was fully serviced before their arrival. Those details are fundamental to the overall guest experience. The property itself has many appealing qualities, but the housekeeping shortcomings significantly affected our impression of the stay. At this price point and level of presentation, I expected far greater attention to detail and a stronger quality-control process before rooms are released to guests. With more consistent housekeeping and room inspections, Lakehouse Resort could provide the experience its setting and branding suggest. Unfortunately, our room did not meet that standard.

There was only one employee we saw during the entirety of our visit but he was super friendly. We ordered a bottle, the charcuterie platter and a pizza. The charcuterie board is refrigerated and they provide a bag of crackers as well. We went with the veggie pizza & it took maybe 20 minutes to come out and was absolutely delicious. The grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. There are 3 covered areas to sit at up top with plenty of seating. Down the first flight of stairs has a fish pond and some beautiful areas to walk around. I'm not sure if that area was where they do weddings as there was also a spot across the way with a dais, but we didn't make it over there. The wine was delicious! We tried two of the whites and the sweet rosé. I'm not normally a rosé fan, but it was my favorite wine I had there. Overall we had a really relaxing time with beautiful views.
