I came to Bella after dinner nearby and it was the best decision! I was able to sample a few flavors and everything was delicious. There were a few unique flavors of gelato like yuzu and black sesame. It was intense in flavor and super smooth. In addition to gelato, there's also cakes/pastries. Those too were also really good. The pear almond crostini was delicious. PS on the day I visited, the temperature inside was warmer than outside. Bella Gelateria is one of the best gelato shops in the Lower Mainland. I've visited this place several times to enjoy their gelato, which always has great flavor and texture. This time, I visited to try their limited item for the Hot Chocolate Festival. #021 Milano Tehran - A luxurious fusion of flavors, this hot chocolate pairs the rich, floral notes of Iranian saffron with the creamy smoothness of Callebaut's premium Belgian white chocolate. Served with an in-house-made cannoli piped with pistachio gelato. The white chocolate texture was smooth, and I liked the balance of sweetness. The standout item was the pistachio gelato in the cannoli. As usual, the gelato was very delicious. However, the hot chocolate temperature was too high, and it seemed to have lost some of its flavor because of that. It was hard for me to taste the saffron flavor or the floral notes. The gelato at this spot is really, really good, but soooo expensive for the portion size. I almost always get the same flavours when I go here, but I always get a couple tasters of something different just to try something new. So far, I still love the amarena cherry and the toasted pecan better than all others. I'm a little disappointed to know that they have a rewards program - only because not once has any employee ever mentioned it when I've been there. Finally got to visit this spot after hearing good things! It is located in the corner of Amazing Brentwood so it might be a bit hard to find. It is a very spacious store with both indoor and outdoor seating. Nice spacious coffee shop in Brentwood. This location faces the exterior, towards the SW side of the "old" part of the mall (the building itself is new). Parking is plentiful in the mall lot. Staff are friendly and helpful. The place had a bit a of a sterile feel, but I think it was more because there weren't too many other customers in the place. They have a decent selection of cakes, as well as cookies and gelato. I had their matcha latte and it was strong. Really strong. Almost too much matcha (is there such a thing?). Special mention. I was licking the inside of the cup after finishing. Totally delicious. I would get this again. Wouldn't mind coming back, though the mall does have a few other coffee places to try out. Out of all the Bella Gelateria branches, I like the Brentwood one the most. It's modern and spacious with comfortable seating areas. It has lots of natural lighting and it feels open and welcoming. It's a great spot to chit chat and relax. We usually order gelato from Bella Gelateria but today we tried their cakes and lattes instead. The cakes are a new addition to the cafe. I like that the cakes aren't too sweet. The latte wasn't too strong so it was perfect for the evening. However, the caffeine did affect my sleep that night. I should get hot chocolate or decaf next time. I highly recommend their matcha lemon and exotic brownie slice. The exotic brownie has a layer of passionfruit and it doesn't feel heavy eating it. Everyone knows about their OG location in downtown and their presence at Metro, but was pleasantly surprised to see a new location at Brentwood! It's extremely spacious with tons of seats. It wasn't too busy when we dropped by closer to 8:30pm on Saturday. Maybe 4-5 groups of people and 4 employees behind the counter. I assume it would be bustling when it gets hotter. They allow samples and I highly recommend trying 1-2 before committing. Ended up getting the akbar mashti and green tea. Both tasted delicious. It's $8/scoop and a waffle cone is +$1. It's definitely pricey but a nice little treat ever so often. read more

I've been to two of the new locations already (see my review) on Davie St @ English Bay & on Robson St. Yelpies this is truly award winning (I'm not just saying it - BG has actually won several kudos!) gelato & BG has won awards in worldwide gelato competitions! A friend of mine has introduced me to Bella Gelateria a few years ago when we had gone to a different location. Absolutely loved it so when I found out one was coming to Brentwood, I had to go. This location just opened today (April 26). The location is absolutely gorgeous. It is open and spacious, had large windows which allows for alot of lighting coming in, it's clean and beautiful. They have decent amount of drinks on their menu and a number of the gelato and sorbet flavours as well. I didn't think they were as much as the other locations (or on their website) but pretty good selection. They do have dairy alternate selections for the drinks (oat and almond milk) for those needing it. They currently have 3 vegan sorbet flavours as well (no other vegan flavours). Overall it's pretty nice and glad we have one in the area. read more

Great gelato place in Brentwood area! I came to redeem my birthday reward and I really appreciated the kind and patient service as well as the fact that my dog was welcome into the store. Bright and inviting, the entire shop makes for a great place to meet up with a friend. After trying 3 flavours, I settled on the Hazelnut (Nocciola) which was creamy, not to sweet and bold in hazelnut flavour.
